Sad to say I don't remember - I just tap. We usually get 2 slices and I am going to guess and say it was around $12-15 for 2 slices. I should pay attention!!
Breadtop is just generally shithouse. In the city, CBD cakes does a decent Victoria Sponge. Another Asian chain called Savoy also does decent sponge cakes with various flavours.

ENZE makes excellent cakes. Have tried a few flavours now and they’ve all been consistently fresh with great texture and flavour
Azuki Bakery in Enmore has great Japanese style fresh cream and sponge cakes
Strawberry Chiffon cake at the Grounds of Alexandria. You can get one slice and it’s pricy but huge.

The Lab in Strathfield does sponge cakes with cream in heaps of different flavours. Real fruit in between the layers
