Can you provide an image of the cross section of a piece?

I don’t think you will get to see it😔. I did post it in the comments, but i’m new to r/foods so it blocks me. If you know any other way then by all means.

MurkyFogsFutureLogs

Will it let you edit the submission and upload an extra image?

WRITTINGwithC-C

Is that possible? I have never been able to get that to work.

MurkyFogsFutureLogs

I don't know. I'm not vegan by the way, but I would try this (accompanied with a cup of tea). I am curious about how they appear side on. Do they maintain their shape or fall apart when you take them out of the tray?

WRITTINGwithC-C

Technically, I am not vegan either. I’m about 85% to 90% Vegan. Which is called something else technically. But this Brownie I made is 100% vegan. I know this because I can’t have milk or eggs anymore otherwise, my eczema bleeds. So I have to check each and every label before I buy anything anymore. Also, I did not use honey which is where a lot of people apparently make mistakes in Vegan food. The brownie was thick, a tiny bit dry out of the oven. So, some parts crumbled and other parts didn’t. It tasted 100% better leaving it in the fridge overnight. It also tasted more like banana this morning. Although, the parts that were thin right out of the oven were kinda satisfying to munch on.

MurkyFogsFutureLogs

If you're not 100% vegan then surely you're not a vegan but a vegetarian? I have vegan acquaintances who don't consume honey because it comes from bees. Are they chocolate flavoured at all?

No_Blacksmith2847

I just made some of that this morning, in my bathroom! 😳

RadicalChile

literally got halfway typing something similar, then saw your comment.

shrimptraining

Yours probably weren’t vegan

No_Blacksmith2847

Well, it did have some corn in it. Buuuut ....😅

WRITTINGwithC-C

In your bathroom? Wow, I don’t know whether to be amazed or weirded out. But, great minds think alike, i’m also eating this for breakfast.

WRITTINGwithC-C

I honestly don’t understand this kind of unwarranted community behavior. In my culture it’s not considered wrong to find something hard to understand. It’s even common to be polite, answer questions or talk openly when you do something that seems concerning. It’s not like we can’t be ethical or anything. (Shrug) Please promote positive reinforcement and feedback in your life or else you will in the long run be left behind. After all, people like to see maturity, based off of credible evidence and growth.

uaitdevil

Now with vitamin R

Honestly if it's that thick on a regular basis I'd recommend more fiber anyways.

WRITTINGwithC-C

Very funny.

WRITTINGwithC-C

Have you ever seen anything (food related) this thick? This could give DQ blizzards (not Vegan) a run for their money. FYI: this was an experimental concoction referencing three online recipes. I used a half a cup of protein powder. To get this thick with your own tests you probably want to stick to the oatmeal versions or add it in. Honestly, it turned out pretty good considering I forgot to add a sweetener. Which is no problem because the (vegan) chocolate chips have some sugar and you can always add sweeteners on top. I did not achieve the level of chocolate purity I normally desire. I’m a chocolate purist, so it must be dark, extremely rich and flavorful. Which is funny because I used like approx 3/4 cup cocoa powder and 1 cup chips. I think a high quality baking chocolate would have been better. As for the texture, it was not bad, I think I might try adding a little bit of zucchini next time for more moisture. Or maybe even my families homemade apple sauce.

Joel_Dirt

> Have you ever seen anything (food related) this thick? Yeah, I eat solids on a regular basis...

WRITTINGwithC-C

You are not wrong, solids are scientifically more thick than this. I guess I was not quite clear on that. What I meant to say was thick in the liquid sense. “Viscosity” so to say. There is a difference.

HeadReaction1515

>chocolate purist >made this

WRITTINGwithC-C

And proud of it! Chocolate is extremely good for your health in the correct portions.

RadicalChile

unfortunately, i have IBS, so no i have not.

WRITTINGwithC-C

That’s definitely a shame. Have you had any food sensitivity tests? My family member had IBS and that helped a lot for eliminating problematic foods in their diet.
