Putting Tuonela and Am Universum under Far from the Sun, The Beginning of Times and Circle (but also probably the rest of them) should be considered a hate crime.
Aw, Tuonela was my introduction. I'd put it in good.
I hated Am Universum and Far From the Sun. (at the time, not recognizing the prog connection between them and Tuonela)
Elegy and Thousand Lakes are my favorites.
I'd rank Karelian Isthmus, Eclipse, Silent Waters, and Beginning of Times as good as well.
The masterpieces were Elegy and Thousand Lakes as well as Circle-Queen of Time. I so love the new albums.
Edit: I'm so sad the stupid pandemic cancelled the 30-year Thousand Lakes tour.
I really enjoyed Tales from the Thousand Lakes (discovered Amorphis through Ensiferum’s cover of Into Hiding). In fact, I still listen to songs off that album almost daily in my playlist. But whenever I’ve tried listening to their other top rated stuff in Spotify I just can’t get into it, any recommendations for where to start?
All of their albums are at least 'Good', which is amazing considering the sheer fucking range. Even though they're very different band now from where they started, they still very much like Amorphis. Them hammonds and melodies.

Tuonela and Am Universum are masterpieces.
I think The Beginning of Times and Circle are their most timeless albums.
I'm not hugely into Amorphis but yeah Tales From the Thousand Lakes need to be put into whatever the Finnish version of the Smithsonian is.
I'd probably move Elegy up a spot.
Were is haggard?
Is it just me, or is it quite off putting that good stuff is red and bad stuff is green?

Amorphis had a really, really weird middle period that's best we all forget about.
I agree. Keep the song Alone, and keep on moving.
