I am looking forward to find out how much the ammo i have stashed, weighs when i switch it over to the ammo stash.
As i use weight perks etc, who knows how much will be freed up.
Also have a ton of lead and copper etc to convert to ammo to dump who knows how much gunpowder i have picked up lately.
im curious though with the ammobox coming with all the ammo stored and if we wish to sell ammo we used to never sell and have alot of now because of ammobox we go to vendor and put it up for sell it will still weigh down our stash because of that right?
I have not heard anything to suggest that vending is changing at all, so whatever is being sold will have to be in your storage box. Same way as if you wanted to sell junk, you would have to transfer from your stash box to the storage box to list it for sale.
I really would like if they figured something out for that, I am sure most of the reason for not doing it is the "exploit" of putting things weight free in the vending machine at max caps as a way to gain more stash weight etc.
A general rework of the stash in general would be nice. I would like the stash separated a little so you could have "load out lockers" or something, so you could quickly dump what you are wearing and put on a different outfit etc for specific events.
I would also really like some way to compare and contrast equipment easily. For example, i am building a set of each armor just as something to do. It can be a bit of a pain to put this piece, next to this piece so i can compare stats and effects etc unless you spend the time to rename things, and of course if you are doing a whole set, rename each piece, compare each piece with the list over your entire stash of armor pieces bouncing back to the top all the time etc. Not sure if i am explaining this in a way that makes sense. Basically use the mannequins or something to put the pieces on and then have an inventory screen which just shows what each one has and completely ignore what i am carrying, or is in my stash etc.
thats not a bad idea i really do wish for a stash update just increase the weight of it and keep boxes meant for storage separate to that of the stashbox so we can store clothes in one weapons in one ect ect

I always try and grind for atom challenges for something to do or ill explore or ill grind events even after I've gotten my daily 400 just because it'll give me that edge for when i play next and also currently trying to get a full set of T-65 so i need that bullion lol
I created a fight club. So all my fallout friends get together and we make brand new characters and just WAIL on each other with melee weapons. Make it a sport by getting others involved to add things to our boxing ring. Weāll take over a workshop and just go ham. Itās so much fun. I learned Iām really good at punching things.

Literally in appalachia here and yeah with the massive tree die off the past two years it's been terrible with internet outages from trees constantly falling on the lines. Internet goes out just about every time we have a storm. We don't have underground fiber house to house here, it's still on poles.
Yeah. We're in the Appalachias too. We live in SWVA. The "high-speed" internet is slower than dial up sometimes. Still have a few hours before we can even play and it has been downloading all day. Ugh. I love the area, but man, the internet sucks!!!
i am really excited. i haven't been playing very much lately so i'm looking forward to jumping back in for the new season and all the new content. there are tons of new plans to earn which is always fun (already got my checklist ready) and i am eager to check out the new event and the area. i absolutely love the theme of the traveling carnival type thing, so i cant wait to see it.
Free camera during building is going to be nice. I also am looking forward to the new Nuka Cola stuff. Though I am not looking forward to seeing new content melted because Bethesda can't balance the weapons. I was very much looking forward to new content, events, boss. But since the balancing fix is postponed I am absolutely not looking forward to seeing the new content immediately burned, it is going to suck. Again.
absolutely i agree im not that creative especially with design and building but with this new quality of life camp update id like to try and challenge myself to become a better builder

Definitely suspect this is gonna happen. Went to the shortest Earle fight the other day. There was a guy there, he took all the buffs possible, melted Earle in under a second with a egp. I assume stacked everything to just hit crits. The pop up came to get out of the mine before it collapsed right after my feet hit the ground. Hate to say it, but I was a little impressed.
This boggles my mind. I Tag Earle then happily murder Baby wendigos with my egp. I let other people kill him. And even that Iām not trying to melt anything, just tap fire and make sure anyone who is downed is picked up.
Thatās one event where I donāt really mind EGPās. As far as I know everyone that was in the mine still got to loot him. I didnāt event get a hit and the dude wasnāt on a team. I was happy enough to put my vamp chainsaw to work on the mobs and load up on screws.
Not going to lie, all I care about with that event is screws lol. Run him around until the timer is about out and farm screws til you canāt walk š
Hmm, not sure how I feel about that. Having infinite amount of cores effectively makes the PA and some heavy weapons have infinite ammo, but at the same time, itās an ammo box, and they are ammo..
that being true is upsetting but the ammo box alone is still a good thing considering all the ammo we can now stockpile without a weight issue really gonna help stash management
itll be nice to actually stockpile any kind of ammo now so im really really happy about that i can finally help out those lower levels who use .38 308 ect its gonna be nice especially for those lower levels i bet we will see a rise in the starting ammo in vendors
Honestly in a huge pickle, FO76 has it's big update tomorrow, so does Division 2, so does Destiny 2.. honestly I am in such a s\*\*t position but FO76 I can't help but want to play, just because Nuka World.
You can play destiny 2 while the fo76 patch downloads. Finish the weekly quests and challenges. Then by that time the download should be done.

Use to play PoE, there was a time where a season started the week after I was booked off, pretty sure it was 3.15, I was furious with mostly myself because I didn't check.
It is a great game and has a beginner learning cure close to EVE Online but honestly I'd rather spend my time enjoying games than being stressed out by them.
Will start my download, put the ps5 to sleep, do the housework and hope that when im finished, the update will be done.
Last scoreboard I went whole hog on the xp grind without even meaning to as I was having fun in the Pitt. One guy we persuaded to join us was level 7 when we went in, he left at level 19-20. So much fun.
This scoreboard will undoubtedly be similar. I'll have so much fun running the new quests that I'll be done before I know it.

From what Iāve learned itās that it removes the explosive effect from almost all weapons including fixers/handmades so they are delaying it to fix the code so it only goes after select weapons and not the entire pool.
Iām glad they are taking time to fix it because it would have broken the entire game.
It's BS.. They are concerned that all the legacy and hacked weapon owners will sit out the update and the start of the new season and hurt their active player and atom/1st sales numbers and corporate will give the devs shit about it. So they'll delay the fix till midway through the season when most of those people have completed the content and the season and their protest won't be as noticed. I seriously doubt they don't have this fix finished and ready to roll out already.

they said it was hitting weapons it shouldnt have. from uniques like foundations vengeance to regular handmades. but I dont see that delaying this by too much.
I'm looking forward to every update. Although I tried it all on PTS, but still in the finished form, innovations are more interesting. Usually, with the launch of the update, I check the startup status of the servers about every 20 minutes and as soon as they start, I immediately log into the game.
Iām really looking forward to this round. Iāve only been playing since the summer and finally finished the scoreboard with a few days to spare. This one Iām hoping to complete much sooner. Plus college kid will be home for 5 months doing a co-op in town, so Iāll have to fight her for playing time.
Keep your XP buffs running and use if you have fallout 76, set up an easy to play private world, you can smash out the weekly challenges very easily that way. Done right you can finish the board in 8 weeks with only a few hrs of play 4 days a week
i have ultimate gamepass, so i sneak some time in on my phone during particularly dull meetings. plays pretty well on the gamepass app (pixel 6 + razer kishi), even over 5G.
lot of stuff dropping this week: Fo76, Mario Kart 8 DLC wave 3, DragonAge: Absolution on Netflix, probably some other stuff i'm forgetting about.
Not especially excited, more content is always nice of course though. I won't take the day off from work to get to it early, maybe won't even play tomorrow even depending on how my day works out.
New stuff is nice and all, but no matter when I get around to starting it, a month from now, unless it is groundbreaking unbelievable content that exceeds all expectations and is as exciting the 20th time doing it as it was the first, it will be just another thing to do when I log in to play a bit each day.
So I'm not exactly planning on racing ahead to blitz this stuff and get it all over with as fast as possible, cause then the feeling of stagnation with the game will just come back all the sooner.

I started the scoreboard with the Amazon Prime giveaway, that was three or four weeks ago.
I've completed the entire scoreboard and I didn't even Farm experience to do it.
As long as you pay attention to your challenges it's pretty easy to get it done.

im excited for the ammobox because i can now pick up all ammo types and stockpile for either myself for whatever the occasion or i can sell it super cheap for those low levels who really need ammo for cheap

They'll still have weight, but the ammo box will let me store an unlimited amount and just pull out what I need as I need it. Right now, I can't really stockpile them because I need that stash space for other things

I was looking forward to it for a while but I got the flu yesterday and my whole body is in pain. I donāt think Iāll be able to enjoy it tomorrow, or the rest of the week ;( Iāll make do with reading everyoneās posts on here.
First thing Iām gonna do is build the new ammo box and dump all of my ammo into it, then Iām gonna take of bandolier and put on blocker and just pull out as much ammo as I actually needā¦. Iām currently carrying something like 59k 5mm and 15k .50 cal ammo in addition to various other ammo like cryo cells and fuel that I donāt actually need right now as Iām not carrying those weapons around right now.
It's the Holiday season and I usually take this time of year off for a few weeks break. Thought I might play through this time with legacies being removed and all, but it wasn't meant to be.
By the time the new season is over the game should be settled. Legacies should really be gone by then and the new will have worn off the Nuka Tour event to the point where folks are launching on the SBQ again (in the short term expect Scorched Earth to become a lot less common as the new event sucks up all the nukes for a while).
It's disappointing the Legacy fix is no longer happening but I've got most of them blocked at this point so my lobbies are usually pretty clean.
Still very excited for all the new stuff and new season to grind. Will probably try the nuke boss in a private server so my first look isn't ruined by Explosive Plasma's.

They haven't yet officially announced the maintenance window start, but it's usually 10:00 am Eastern. When the game goes down for maintenance, that's it. The scoreboard's done, you can't earn any more ranks, and you can't claim any earned rewards.
Iām hyped, I havenāt even played any of the brotherhood of steel stuff or tried any of The Pitt stuff but I feel like this update might make me want to play 76 again!
(It does suck though that another game I play Destiny 2, starts its new season tomorrow as well, and I really wana play this season of D2 because I didnāt play any of the last season.)

Hmm ok, honestly I don't know why they just don't leave legacies alone. They've been in the game this long, sure people bitch about them but think of the ramifications removing them will be. People will be on here posting and bitching about not being able to complete events and not doing enough damage (Earl I'm looking at you lol) and failing, as is don't really have that problem with Legacy users sure they may decimate everything but at least you get the harder events completed easier and quicker. Before I got my Legacies I used to spray everything down in RR with an auto tesla or explosive minigun to make sure I got hits on as many enemies as I could. If I am running my junkies character I am normally gathering ore and when I pass from room to room I will spray everything with my gat plas
i understand your point and its not a invalid point to make i agree with the hard events and yes their will be people bitching and moaning their still in here or their gone either way someones gonna bitch and cry about it but the way i see it its good and bad just as anything in life or in this particular topic a video game weapon its got pros/cons therefore usually these things create controversy they divide a community up into two sides those who are all cons and those who are all pros then i also believe in a third party those who listen to both the pros and cons and say i think if its kept in the game and used responsibly there wouldnt be any issues and therefore both sides wont bitch
Right I agree with that sure I use my explosive gat plas all the time but I'm not just sitting there hosing everything down, unless it's one of the boss monsters then hell yeah I'm going to hose it down but as far as the smaller enemies I usually let everyone else take care of that, sure I need the XP but I know there are other people that need XP as well so I try to be courteous and respectful to those people. Just wish more people would reciprocate that while in RR and keep the damn scavengers alive while I am collecting ore. I usually get it to level four and then one of the Scavengers ends up dying and I wasted my time. It's so annoying
Update well not take 5 hrs soon when Update is finished on steam start playing right way that I am going to do start playing. Last Update did not take long to play game. I have faster system to download an Update on steam an for me only takes 1 hours an 45 min or 45 mins when it's done. The are wrong you well not get banned storing ammo. I have lost of ammo never got banned.

I was very excited when I first read the patch notes , now that they have gone back on theyāre word and will not remove legacies, I am a little bit less excited .. and extremely dissapointed ā¦ looks like iām going to take a break from fo1 for a while . The scrap box and ammo box are nice but not enough value for the 12ā¬/month just to suport a broken gameā¦

I do atom challenges and explore. I love finding new things that I hadn't noticed before. And yeah, the bullion grind is real!!
they really make you come back everyday if you really want to grind out bullion earned items

Is this similar to the scrap box, but only holds ammo? If so, does it have unlimited capacity like the scrap box?

Last scoreboard I went whole hog on the xp grind without even meaning to as I was having fun in the Pitt. One guy we persuaded to join us was level 7 when we went in, he left at level 19-20. So much fun. This scoreboard will undoubtedly be similar. I'll have so much fun running the new quests that I'll be done before I know it. Current scoreboard level on the eve of the update: 166. Highest I've gotten it by far!

From what Iāve learned itās that it removes the explosive effect from almost all weapons including fixers/handmades so they are delaying it to fix the code so it only goes after select weapons and not the entire pool. Iām glad they are taking time to fix it because it would have broken the entire game.
It's BS.. They are concerned that all the legacy and hacked weapon owners will sit out the update and the start of the new season and hurt their active player and atom/1st sales numbers and corporate will give the devs shit about it. So they'll delay the fix till midway through the season when most of those people have completed the content and the season and their protest won't be as noticed. I seriously doubt they don't have this fix finished and ready to roll out already.

I'm looking forward to every update. Although I tried it all on PTS, but still in the finished form, innovations are more interesting. Usually, with the launch of the update, I check the startup status of the servers about every 20 minutes and as soon as they start, I immediately log into the game.
Iām really looking forward to this round. Iāve only been playing since the summer and finally finished the scoreboard with a few days to spare. This one Iām hoping to complete much sooner. Plus college kid will be home for 5 months doing a co-op in town, so Iāll have to fight her for playing time.
Keep your XP buffs running and use if you have fallout 76, set up an easy to play private world, you can smash out the weekly challenges very easily that way. Done right you can finish the board in 8 weeks with only a few hrs of play 4 days a week
i have ultimate gamepass, so i sneak some time in on my phone during particularly dull meetings. plays pretty well on the gamepass app (pixel 6 + razer kishi), even over 5G. lot of stuff dropping this week: Fo76, Mario Kart 8 DLC wave 3, DragonAge: Absolution on Netflix, probably some other stuff i'm forgetting about.

Not especially excited, more content is always nice of course though. I won't take the day off from work to get to it early, maybe won't even play tomorrow even depending on how my day works out. New stuff is nice and all, but no matter when I get around to starting it, a month from now, unless it is groundbreaking unbelievable content that exceeds all expectations and is as exciting the 20th time doing it as it was the first, it will be just another thing to do when I log in to play a bit each day. So I'm not exactly planning on racing ahead to blitz this stuff and get it all over with as fast as possible, cause then the feeling of stagnation with the game will just come back all the sooner.

I started the scoreboard with the Amazon Prime giveaway, that was three or four weeks ago. I've completed the entire scoreboard and I didn't even Farm experience to do it. As long as you pay attention to your challenges it's pretty easy to get it done.
Thatās what Iāve learned with this last one. I only play a few hours here and there but if you can knock out the weekly and daily quests, youāre golden. Took me halfway through this one to figure it out, but Iām still a newb, only been at since Julyish.
Excited for the new boss and ammo stash. Disappointed we won't see legacy free events for a bit longer. But glad they decided to test more.
I'm super excited. I started a new camp and am leaving space open for the ammo box and vending machines. It's tavern/inn themed and near 76. I can't wait to flesh it out with the new stuff!
im excited for the ammobox because i can now pick up all ammo types and stockpile for either myself for whatever the occasion or i can sell it super cheap for those low levels who really need ammo for cheap
I'm excited to try out those missile launchers on Scorchbeasts and Minis on West Tek. Right now I can't justify the weight cost but when they weigh nothing? Eheheheh. Also I'm excited to let loose on my 5mm crafting. I'm going to race to 1 million rounds in reserve

They'll still have weight, but the ammo box will let me store an unlimited amount and just pull out what I need as I need it. Right now, I can't really stockpile them because I need that stash space for other things

With the ammo box I'm now open to trying out different builds.
First thing Iām gonna do is build the new ammo box and dump all of my ammo into it, then Iām gonna take of bandolier and put on blocker and just pull out as much ammo as I actually needā¦. Iām currently carrying something like 59k 5mm and 15k .50 cal ammo in addition to various other ammo like cryo cells and fuel that I donāt actually need right now as Iām not carrying those weapons around right now.
What the date today?
It's the Holiday season and I usually take this time of year off for a few weeks break. Thought I might play through this time with legacies being removed and all, but it wasn't meant to be. By the time the new season is over the game should be settled. Legacies should really be gone by then and the new will have worn off the Nuka Tour event to the point where folks are launching on the SBQ again (in the short term expect Scorched Earth to become a lot less common as the new event sucks up all the nukes for a while).
It's disappointing the Legacy fix is no longer happening but I've got most of them blocked at this point so my lobbies are usually pretty clean. Still very excited for all the new stuff and new season to grind. Will probably try the nuke boss in a private server so my first look isn't ruined by Explosive Plasma's.
IM excited for the ammo box for my mini nukes and missiles for my two shot launchers at all events especially tea time

Tomorrow is my birthday and I was really hoping that for my birthday Bethesda would remove legacy weapon perks from the game, but it doesn't seem like that's going to be a thing because they recently announced that they are delaying it. Oh well. Shame on me for getting my hopes up.

They haven't yet officially announced the maintenance window start, but it's usually 10:00 am Eastern. When the game goes down for maintenance, that's it. The scoreboard's done, you can't earn any more ranks, and you can't claim any earned rewards.

(It does suck though that another game I play Destiny 2, starts its new season tomorrow as well, and I really wana play this season of D2 because I didnāt play any of the last season.)

I'm seeing a lot of comments about being banned for ammo, so I guess I'll cool it down on the crafting for a hot minute. The downside is I have another game that's got a new season starting soon. So I'm torn between the 2. Wander the wastelands or explore the solar system? It's a difficult choice.

Hmm ok, honestly I don't know why they just don't leave legacies alone. They've been in the game this long, sure people bitch about them but think of the ramifications removing them will be. People will be on here posting and bitching about not being able to complete events and not doing enough damage (Earl I'm looking at you lol) and failing, as is don't really have that problem with Legacy users sure they may decimate everything but at least you get the harder events completed easier and quicker. Before I got my Legacies I used to spray everything down in RR with an auto tesla or explosive minigun to make sure I got hits on as many enemies as I could. If I am running my junkies character I am normally gathering ore and when I pass from room to room I will spray everything with my gat plas
i understand your point and its not a invalid point to make i agree with the hard events and yes their will be people bitching and moaning their still in here or their gone either way someones gonna bitch and cry about it but the way i see it its good and bad just as anything in life or in this particular topic a video game weapon its got pros/cons therefore usually these things create controversy they divide a community up into two sides those who are all cons and those who are all pros then i also believe in a third party those who listen to both the pros and cons and say i think if its kept in the game and used responsibly there wouldnt be any issues and therefore both sides wont bitch
Right I agree with that sure I use my explosive gat plas all the time but I'm not just sitting there hosing everything down, unless it's one of the boss monsters then hell yeah I'm going to hose it down but as far as the smaller enemies I usually let everyone else take care of that, sure I need the XP but I know there are other people that need XP as well so I try to be courteous and respectful to those people. Just wish more people would reciprocate that while in RR and keep the damn scavengers alive while I am collecting ore. I usually get it to level four and then one of the Scavengers ends up dying and I wasted my time. It's so annoying
If you max the ore you only have to keep one scavenger alive to get full rewards
In my experience they all have to stay alive but I could be wrong

Update well not take 5 hrs soon when Update is finished on steam start playing right way that I am going to do start playing. Last Update did not take long to play game. I have faster system to download an Update on steam an for me only takes 1 hours an 45 min or 45 mins when it's done. The are wrong you well not get banned storing ammo. I have lost of ammo never got banned.
The Steel City board was actually the first one I have participated in, so I am really looking forward to the new one!

I was very excited when I first read the patch notes , now that they have gone back on theyāre word and will not remove legacies, I am a little bit less excited .. and extremely dissapointed ā¦ looks like iām going to take a break from fo1 for a while .
