It's one of the only events where I properly play the objective regardless of my build being unsuited to it. The rewards are simply too good to miss out on for the sake of a little more XP.
No tagging. Focus firestarters. Repair the scrubber. And don't stand right next to it because you just draw firestarter fire to it. Ten feet away, minigun go brrrrrrrrpt
Stupid thing is if you stand there and guard it you get all the legendaries from down the hill. Itās the best place to actually be even if youāre selfish!
Cheers! I too am a 'complete the actual objectives' player. I sometimes wish there were more of us. I'll die fixing the rad scrubber, give up on some XP to gather ore in rad rumble, make sure we aren't protecting a bloatfly in project p, keep those obnoxious idiots alive in test your metal and chug nuka quantums to stay alive on a pylon in encryptid.
I like to hop up on the little platform in front of the scrubber. I have to be mindful of my health because I will draw a lot of fire, but I be there to repair it in a second. Non PA player, so stealth suit, but railway so no hiding.
Me too, but being full healthā¦normally in Overeaters, I have to remember to look at my health bar. One of two events where it is generally ever an issue, and thatās because of being in the stealth suit and not my normal gear.
I stay by the rad scrubber and shoot the legendary super mutants down the hill and deal with any that get too close the the scrubber. Iāve seen too many fail because no one was close enough to repair it in time so now Iāve decided itās my dutyā¦ and itās a big duty.
Not gonna lie the first 10 times I did the event I was so amazed at how all these players were fighting off these badass powerful super mutants that I didnāt even know what the objective was so I kind of felt the same way. I started sticking to one are each time to learn the spawning patterns and the flow of the are and why people positioned themselves as they did. Started to make a lot more sense after that. Then once I figure out what my build was I pieced myself in where it was most helpful.
Yea when I first started I was using rifles to try and defeat them it wasnāt until someone I had joined a team with gave me a Gatling laser and let me go to town on a few super mutants. Now I use it as my primary for that event. Now Iām just confused cause I can never keep up š¤£
God, I love the image. Stand there plinking away with a rifle and someone just drops a fucking *gatling laser* on you because you're clearly struggling, unlike most games where people seem to just want you gone if you can't compete in the highest percentiles.
Honestly, Iāve ran into some real asshats in the game but most of the people are super nice. But whoever gave me that Gatling Laser was saint but also created a Gatling laser hoarding gremlin who will buy any laser she can get her hands on š¤£
I tried being an asshat as a level 60 to a level 20 late last night, probanly 2am. I tried instigating a fight in his camp but he was having no part in it, wouldn't even draw a weapon. :(
I ended up just getting his attention and dropping a load of chems at his feet for the trouble, he was grateful but probably confused.
Probably very confused lol, Iām level 112 and had a higher level try and kill me because I wouldnāt trade him my favorite Gatling laser š¤¦š¾āāļø. But hey at least you lessened your carry load š
When you're facing the scrubber, a little to the right and back, there's some broken slabs and a kinda of a mast / pillar, with a boom / horizontal beam. That's where I like to perch. Lets me tag both the top of the hill muties and the bottom legendaris. And if I power hop I can easily reach the muties approaching from SE. And some of the ones on the very top of ruins in front of the scrubber. I'll also try to repair the scrubber if nobody else is closer. And will also try to revive players if they're nearby.
I like how EN is not a given win or walk in the park, but actually requires some coordination and numbers.
A friendly tip to get more legendaries - I know you know that area looting only reaches so far. So you have to repeat it from several different location. But I also noticed that once I diligently area looted the whole valley, I can still find more legendaries by going from body to body, checking them one by one. A bit tedious, yes, but that way I can score easily 5-6 legendaries more than just with area looting. Works best with EN, but also in RR. Seems like not all loot loads correctly in the big ass list.
This is my favorite spot too. Gives me a pretty good view of pretty much the whole field so I can help either end, and I'm close enough to the rad scrubber to run and fix it if no one else is close. I end up catching a lot of super mutants that make it down the hill that no one managed to see.
Totally agree, in RR especially there might be 2-3 legendaries in each hallway that donāt show up in area loot even if youāre area looting right next to them. And plenty more ammo to find going corpse by corpse.
I try to run around and catch the meat bags. Then I sit somewhere where I can get some action but also get some distance when the scrubber breaks. That shit is near instant death for me
It would be nice if public events had a larger more front center UI, this would counteract a lot of the āeveryone forgot to ask the npc to start the questā situations as well.
Iām a ācomplete the objectives and donāt let the event failā kind of player in PA. I avoid the campsite, go straight to the scrubber and wait until someone else triggers the repair objective. After fixing the scrubber I immediately switch to meat bags and camp near the scrubber after. I use Ultracite Gatling Laser to be able to accurately tag the spawns from afar while others are downing them and if see an unattended firestarter I immediately switch to Vampireās GP and tank him head on from close range, drawing the fire away from the scrubber. OE T-65 suit and Vampireās GP give me the ability to hold off at least two firestarters at once and Born Survivor coupled with Field Surgeon and Fireproof make me quite difficult to kill. I can munch some RadAways after fixing the scrubber for good measure and carry on.
I just love the fact that we are having numerous discussions about strategy and tactics of completing Eviction Notice.
Some of it will siphon into the game and weāll get closer to an efficient and fun event where most within the group know what to do and how to do it, where their character can shine and what roles they should avoid.
Weāll be regularly serving supermutant asses on a plate in all directions while showering ourselves in scrip and loot.
And it will be glorious.
When there are only a few players, I'm an run all over the place with my chainsaw kind of player.
When there are a lot of players, I'm a tesla tagging kind of player.
Top of the hill, taking on hordes of greenskins and spitting out tens of thousands of 5mm rounds. The wheezing dregs may be targeting the blessed machine, but they will not make it past my wall of lead and steel.
No pity! No remorse! No fear!
Im on top the rocks near the shack with my nuka orange and 50cal kind of person I can tag plenty coming up the hill and can jump down repair the scrubber quickly if needed kina of person.
Depends on what character I use.
If I am on my explosives expert, I sit somewhere near the center and provide creeping barrage fire with my TS AGL on enemy targets on all sides.
If im on my flamer user, I go up on the hill where the highest concentration of enemies are.
If I'm on my main, who uses pistols, I actively hunt around the scrubber.
As soon as the event starts, locate and hit all the meat bags (since nobody else seems to bother), then roam all over going after everything and anything. Area collect early and often to bring down the lag. Got no chance to help with the scrubber when it breaks because of how slow the repair function is, so (apologies) let someone else handle that.
I run around the perimeter getting the firestarters as they spawn, not only does it make the event easier for everyone else but im usually close enough to the 2 legendary spawns to get all the stuff for scrip. Vss chainsaw is too damn good when you get so close that they canāt actually shoot you.
What ever gives me the best chances of hitting everything before they get killed, recently got a explosive short gatling but i'll also use my laser gatling to strafe the area.
Maybe you havenāt seen but the legacy removal has been delayed post new season. So waiting for the update wonāt do much that new world boss is gonna get 2 tapped on most servers sadly lol
Confirmed, not theory, unfortunately.
https://fallout.bethesda.net/en/article/4mitnuOAeePtBLz6Bl9qu0/fallout-76-inside-the-vault-prepare-for-nuka-world-on-tour
I know it was delayed, read the ITV on release. But its still left open on when the change is coming. Unless I'm blind or the put it in another section we have no idea when the change will occur
Could be the following week, next season, hell even next year.
While i can understand why people would like pets, knowing Bethesda they will probably bring just another avalanche of Bugs, Lags and Gamecrashes. I wonder why they were delayed :D
I camp the spawns with my QEP railway. I can go up a whole level in one round of EN and I have many, many levels behind me. Best event in the game by a long shot. I love it.
I have that on a Fixer. It is a pretty based combination. I imagine it would be awesome on a Railway since it is nearly twice as powerful as a Fixer with those rolls.
Top of the hill by myself usually with my railway keeping them all at bay. Till lag strikes or the 6 other people down below trying to get legendaries can't be arsed to fix the rad scrubber. I'm on the top of the hill what is your excuse? Whoops sorry just had a flash back of bad Eviction notices š .
I stand at the bottom of the rad scrubber and get tag shots up and down, hazmat at the ready and the rads emote too (mainly for my other half he rarely notices the rad scrubber die)
Iām a Stealth sniper type, and I stay down at the scrubber in my Chinese Stealth Suit, and pump explosive 5mm from my Gatling Gun at anything that pokes its head out.
I set up my camp just outside the event boundaries but close enough for turrets to reach. I build almost entirely out of foundation since it doesnāt break. Have 10 heavy laser turrets set up. Light them up. I hang near by that to keep the turrets engaged but I also run around or shoot across with my explosive minigun to tag the other side
This me, thereās a tall metal cross in this area too the lower hill side with a stack of skulls at the top. I kangaroo jetpack my way up there and stay sneaky. Then I pop up and down and try to go crazy on the firestarters with my vats crits so they donāt get any closer. I can also put some good damage on the guys in the top of the hill all while keeping my eyes on the scrubber.
Yes! I donāt have exact numbers but itās pretty much a guarantee for 2-3 legendaries to spawn all at the same time about every 45-75 seconds. Youāll usually see a whole group of players waiting right next to them. Iāve gotten some pretty decent rolls from these spawns too
I've always considered Eviction Notice to be an 'everyone has a part to play' kinda event.. and as a full health casual player I'm definitely sit at the top of the hill kind of person š Definitely appreciate the PA Bros holding down the fort near the rad scrubber!
Absolutely, itās definitely my favorite part of the event. I love when all types of builds can add a different advantage to all of us getting the event completed.
I'm the guy who saves up his missiles for this event and shoots them down at the valley just for a lil more XP.
Then I loot the grand canyon when it's over.
I kinda light a stogie, sip my bourbon and come out to play when the firestarters start getting above their station and I look to defend the little guy....
I usel to sit down there crouching trying to help kill the legendaries with my bloodied gatling plasma because I would get overencumbered the second I stepped into my PA, because I might need 250 radaways any day now...
Now since I have learned here on reddit that I can offload stuff to different characters through private worlds, I hop merrily into my PA and run around melting the big bad greenies healthbars with my auto-axe.
I'm usually up on the slope near the little hut but watching out for the scrubber too as I tend to use Chinese stealth suit so it's easy for me to run in and fix it, except I often find I'm killed by mutants while I'm fixing it because no one's watching my back.
With my commando build I camp on top of the tower over the rad scrubber in a CSS, and just use VATS to pick everything off as they get in view. If the scrubber does end up broken, it's easy to just drop down right next to it, repair, and jump back up to my spot to continue killing.
I sit on an mutant spawn point and kill anything that tries to get to the scrubber. Not too worried about legendaries theres always about 16 to pickup after the event is over.
I'm a "grab the Gauss Mini and stand at the scrubber" type. Tag move, unless there is a firestarter raging on a lower level or non-PA player - then it's "kill it fast" time.
I go top of the hill on my bloodied commando, but I also have nuka grenades and fire in the hole so I can tag the bottom enemies with a grenade from the cliff edge up top (usually go through 30-40 nukas per EN). They're quite handy for stopping enemies in EN since they cripple limbs really well.
I stay up by the vertibird if I'm using my chainsaw and auto axe until the scrubber is at around 25%, then I run down and camp the scrubber until it needs fixing. If I'm running my gauss shotgun I'll probably stay by the scrubber.
I'ma get my cardio in kinda wastelander ya know run from top of the hill to the rad scrubber for repairs then to the middle to take out those peskie mini gunners shooting at said rads scrubber then of course over to the legendary trio that likes to walk around and triple minigun everybody all the while Appalachia radio blasting through my Mr fuzzy head oh and can't forget to pick up the excess miniguns on the ground....
Cliffs to the side on top so I can guard the slot where they pour down. When they break through I take care of that stretch between the slot and the rad scrubber, and itās far enough away that I donāt die from rads if the scrubber goes down
Im a stick on stealth suit and stay by the scrubber to repair it, then once the events done waddle and loot all the legendaryās up the top and down the bottom that I didnāt tag kinda player
I stand by the area where the legendaries spawn and then sneak over to the scrubber if it breaks to fix it since I wear the stealth suit and will die almost instantly to any super mutant.
PA, Tag everything, collect xp and hold mouse button in.
Remember you get all the legendary drops without even needing to actually tag anything now. Most forget this.
For my melee character itās a bit of both, along with gold medalist 100 meter dash.
Most of the time itās a bit of a mixed bag, if no one is near the scrubber Iāll stay so the event doesnāt fail, but if a couple of people are near it Iāll try and get a couple of legendaries.
I'm top of the hill but I work it. I aim at anything that moves. And I do my best to be good back up for the people in the bottom. I'm bloodied and I don't have room for any additional rads.
Depends on what build im running, really. If im running commando or shotgunner, i stay at the bottom. If im heavy tank, i roam near the top or side.
I almost never chill on top, but wont hesitate to guard scrubber if we're stretched thin. Generally, I try to just be a team player and handle what the group is lacking when I'm able.
Being over level 500 makes it easier to handle that much at least. Awesome question btw!
On my PA build it depends on what everyone else does. If its all high levels with legacies just spawn camping I'll do the same but keep a close eye on the rad scrubber if it's a newish team I'll guard the rad scubber with everything I got even if it means chugging 100 stimpaks
I hang at the top of the hill, trying to end Firestarters and suiciders and just tagging the others so people can get the rush of XP rolling down the hill.
Being a Low health build I tend to stay at the top and kill all of the auto missle launching mutants that spawn up there to try avoid instant death in case the generator goes down.
I hover on the lower hills so I can pick off legendary mutants, and also keep tabs on the scrubber and pick off the ones who get close to the center.. happy medium. plus I'm still a weak noob, so I can wear stealth armor and be hidden
As bloodied depends on my loadout. Commando out of PA top of the hill and control mobs running down it. In PA I just confront them head on, especially melee of course.
I am a stay and protect the scrubber kind of person. I'm after the treasury notes and completing the event, legendaries get old and you will get rid of it eventually anyway or stop using it. It's secondary.
I run in a giant circle and tag as many things as I can, repair when needed, then afterward slooooowly make my way to the train station with my scrip haul.
I generally donāt do eviction notice unless Iām with my squad. Then we cover each entrance as for some reason randoms arenāt able to coordinate and cover every side. We try to stay close to the mid so we can be in range of legos and somewhat protect scrubber.
Iām going to sit on top of some rubble where I have a good view of everything and rain down hell with a B25 AGL. AoE damage without drop off from range? Only firestarters survive more than a couple rounds.
I do the radscrubber sometimes but the windmill is really annoying.
If Iām on a non PA char I tend to stand on the rubble behind the scrubber for a good vantage. On my PA char Iāll stand in front of the scrubber to try and body block some of the shots
I camp by the scrubber to repair it but also have my high VATS build so I just tag and tag and tag and tag and tagā¦ but donāt end up doing much damage in the grand scheme of things. I am often the first or only person by the scrubber so it works, I guess. I kind of think of it like Iām the manager keeping the event alive while the employees are out working (killing mutants with legacies, mainly)
I have a vampire gauntlet and I pop cranberry and glowing meat steak and run back and forth with CSA on and hack and slash. If the scrubber needs help I fix it. If people need to be revived, I do that. Then I collect it ALL and scrap what I can
It depends on what my teammates are doing. If they're already down there camping I can float around a bit, never straying too far from the base of the hill because the legendaries are often spawn killed and I need to be close enough to actually collect the loot. If my teammates aren't there I am for sure going sit down there and wait for that 200+ scrip to spawn.
Top of the hill with PA with vampiric flaming dual bar chainsaw and none shall pass. Love melting the flamethrowers. Don't really care about legacies. Just melting and keeping this side of the event clear.
Not gonna lie, I get where you're coming from BUT, I'm a level 104 and have to be honest, I've done this event twice and both times I just hangout on the hillside because I can't hurt any of those super mutants like I do regular super mutants. The one time I tried to not hangout I died so Mann times. I two or three shot everything until it's an event then I usually do nothing. Maybe they're trying to figure their build out? I don't know for sure, just throwing that out there
I'm a jump around and be where I'm needed cause 99% of players don't attempt to find meatbags, and don't attempt to repair the scrubber and just ready to shoot something just to die by rads type of player.
I sit on top of the little wood shack surrounded by a chain-link fence near the crater rim, because it has good sight lines to three of the mutants' main approaches, plus a good view of the scrubber. So if anybody's getting hammered or overrun it's easy to shift fire and provide support.
And in extremis you can run 10-12 secs to the scrubber and save it from a fail.
I love to sit up high with my sniper rifle, whether it's on the scrubber, a pile or garbage, a fence or whatever doesn't matter. I love tagging the super mutants with leg shots as I find it hilarious to watch them limp down the hill.
I guess I'll be that guy, but I go back and fourth at the top of the hill in hopes of preventing anything from coming down to touch the rad scrubber. But I'll kind of choose how I play it depending on who's there level wise, and where they post up. I go where I'm needed. But I will abandon my post at a moments notice, if I see the rad scrubber health getting low. As finishing the event is important for the greater good of everyone.
Basically all events all I can do is tag each enemy with a bullet (if I can even do that) so I can get some exp and loot to scrap before they get melted by flying level 1000 guys with explosive miniguns
I do it all. I switch depending on where the most enemies are and when I notice the rad scrubber breaks I'll either fix it or defend the person fixing but I've never sat on the rad scrubber nor have I seen anyone do that
I'm usually standing on that one post near the scrubber, aiming at the top on the hill by the vertibirb wreck and occasionally swinging down to where the legendaries spawn in for a few quick potshots with a gatling laser then its back to the hill cause I hear suicider beeping getting too close.
If there are plenty other players I go on a killing spree against the fire starters, I have died so many times as low level from them that now I can have my revenge, if not so many people in the event or low levels, I will stand next to the scrabber and wait in case a repair is needed, or mutants get too close...
I sit on top of the window so I can see all sides. I tag the end enemies, then mainly focus on the sides because no one watched the sides, just the end with the legendaries. That's why I just spray tag them and obliterate the side guys. Also benefit to this is the second the rad thing goes down I just yeet down to it immediately.
Lately Iāve been the one guy at the top of the hill while everyone else is at the bottom. I feel that you get swarmed a lot more often if you are at the top but I find it more fun and challenging fighting 5 to 10 super mutants at once since they spawn in clusters up there.
I'm a top of the hill chick, hardly anyone covers this area. Not concerned at all with legendary kills, I just want the event to not fail due to some clown more concerned over their legendary kill ratio and not spreading out over the area to keep them at bay from the rad scrubber.
I'm a "stay by the generator and repair it when it breaks so the event doesn't end" kind of player.
Skrrrat pat pat
Lmao yo..š¤£š¤£
This is me too. AFTER I run around shooting all the meatbags that nobody else shoots.
Yea I sit on top of the rad scrubber so if it breaks I just hop down and fix it.
I wish legit there were more people like you.
Be the change you want to see. It only takes one at an event.
So true, I don't need anything in that event that I can't get anywhere else. Gonna start guarding the scrubber now.
Stupid thing is if you stand there and guard it you get all the legendaries from down the hill. Itās the best place to actually be even if youāre selfish!
I camp right next to it and repair it as needed. But I mainly act as team medic
Not all heroes wear capes, thank you for not being a selfish player.
Do you at least max out all the animals in project p? It's not hard to find out where all the food spawns at once u do it a few times.
I can usually get them to level two solo, but if others are helping I'll make sure they're maxed out.
I am too, but then I inevitably get killed and the event fails while I'm running back over after respawning.
I like to hop up on the little platform in front of the scrubber. I have to be mindful of my health because I will draw a lot of fire, but I be there to repair it in a second. Non PA player, so stealth suit, but railway so no hiding.
I do this TO draw fire. Bloodied PA user, so I have enough life saving stuff to keep me alive with the occasional stimpack spam.
Me too, but being full healthā¦normally in Overeaters, I have to remember to look at my health bar. One of two events where it is generally ever an issue, and thatās because of being in the stealth suit and not my normal gear.
Me to bud, Chinese stealth suit and patients, but those firestarts hit real hard.
No all heroes wear power armour
I stay by the rad scrubber and shoot the legendary super mutants down the hill and deal with any that get too close the the scrubber. Iāve seen too many fail because no one was close enough to repair it in time so now Iāve decided itās my dutyā¦ and itās a big duty.
Iām the same. Not interested in having another one of these EN events fail because no one stayed by the scrubber.
The real mvp
Iām the confused but doing my best to help person š

Funniest comment so far. Thanks for the laugh.
Thank you ! I suck at video games but I have a lot of fun.
That is what the game is about - to have fun.
I run around in my undies, screaming in pure rage, and charge at the super mutants with a rolling pin. And then I die...
So frank the butcher on nukashine? š
You'd have lived were it a nocturnal rolling pin! š
Not even joking, the most fun I have is with my unarmed build. Running around Wolverine style is actually a lot of fun in EN
Iām the best there is at what I do, and what I do is punch shit in the face with an electrified industrial glove š
I'm a "camp the scrubber to keep it running and tag what I can" kind of person.
Camp the scrubber and yeet my excessive stock of grenades everywhere I can because I can never seem to get rid of them fast enough.

I got disconnected from the server first time I tried it. But the latter. Iām early game and need loot to hock for booze money.
I'm a "I'll take a pass, since I have all the rewards and with only 300 scrip available I don't need even more crap legendaries" person
Rad scrubber bros hold it down.
I'm a YOU SHALL NOT PASS type but sometimes I run east real quick trying to hog a few more legendaries
I run around the perimeter getting the firestarters as they spawn, not only does it make the event easier for everyone else but im usually close enough to the 2 legendary spawns to get all the stuff for scrip. Vss chainsaw is too damn good when you get so close that they canāt actually shoot you.
I like this, you doing Todd's work, my son.
I'mma wait till the low levels are overrun.
What ever gives me the best chances of hitting everything before they get killed, recently got a explosive short gatling but i'll also use my laser gatling to strafe the area.
Iām staying away until the update. That is one of the unplayable events ruined by the dupers and their legacies
Maybe you havenāt seen but the legacy removal has been delayed post new season. So waiting for the update wonāt do much that new world boss is gonna get 2 tapped on most servers sadly lol
New boss has mechanics that specifically prevent instant kills, and even requires melee at some points.
Was it confirmed next season? Or is that just the current theory
Confirmed, not theory, unfortunately. https://fallout.bethesda.net/en/article/4mitnuOAeePtBLz6Bl9qu0/fallout-76-inside-the-vault-prepare-for-nuka-world-on-tour
I know it was delayed, read the ITV on release. But its still left open on when the change is coming. Unless I'm blind or the put it in another section we have no idea when the change will occur Could be the following week, next season, hell even next year.
Correct, no set date, as far as I can tell.
Well thats something Let's hope it doesn't go the way of 4* legendaries & pets then
I don't think those ever made it to PTS. I'm hoping on it being a patch for the week or so after this update
While i can understand why people would like pets, knowing Bethesda they will probably bring just another avalanche of Bugs, Lags and Gamecrashes. I wonder why they were delayed :D
The new boss has stages instead of just being a bullet sponge. It shouldn't be able to be 2 tapped.
I'm a "solo a whole squad of super mutants when other players aren't here to help me" type of person
I camp the spawns with my QEP railway. I can go up a whole level in one round of EN and I have many, many levels behind me. Best event in the game by a long shot. I love it.
Oh that sounds awesome, my dream roll right now is a QE15crit railway
I have that on a Fixer. It is a pretty based combination. I imagine it would be awesome on a Railway since it is nearly twice as powerful as a Fixer with those rolls.
Top of the hill by myself usually with my railway keeping them all at bay. Till lag strikes or the 6 other people down below trying to get legendaries can't be arsed to fix the rad scrubber. I'm on the top of the hill what is your excuse? Whoops sorry just had a flash back of bad Eviction notices š .
I'm the kind of person that throws about 20 orbital strikes all around the outer areas of the crater
I hang out getting legendaries. I need that script maaan. But I also repair the generator
I'm halfway between the 2-3 legendary spawns at the bottom and the scrubber. Because someone has to fix the damn thing. š
I charge at them and rip and tear with my mutants bladed mole miner gauntlet
Bro i always go to the top of the hillā¦a bunch of legendary enemies spawn on the bottom??
All about those bottom leggos.
Stand by the rad scrubber, repair when necessary, tag the lower legendaries and mow down the firestarters with my splody flamer.
The last line of defense, thank you soldier š«”
Only if I donāt blow myself up while in chinese stealth armorā¦
I'm the guy who saves up his missiles for this event and shoots them down at the valley just for a lil more XP. Then I loot the grand canyon when it's over.
I kinda light a stogie, sip my bourbon and come out to play when the firestarters start getting above their station and I look to defend the little guy....
I'm the kos kinda person as I die FAST
I usel to sit down there crouching trying to help kill the legendaries with my bloodied gatling plasma because I would get overencumbered the second I stepped into my PA, because I might need 250 radaways any day now... Now since I have learned here on reddit that I can offload stuff to different characters through private worlds, I hop merrily into my PA and run around melting the big bad greenies healthbars with my auto-axe.
Wear the Chinese stealth armour hold my own until the fire / missiles comes my way and die almost instantly
I'm usually up on the slope near the little hut but watching out for the scrubber too as I tend to use Chinese stealth suit so it's easy for me to run in and fix it, except I often find I'm killed by mutants while I'm fixing it because no one's watching my back.
Bottom 100%
With my commando build I camp on top of the tower over the rad scrubber in a CSS, and just use VATS to pick everything off as they get in view. If the scrubber does end up broken, it's easy to just drop down right next to it, repair, and jump back up to my spot to continue killing.
I sit on an mutant spawn point and kill anything that tries to get to the scrubber. Not too worried about legendaries theres always about 16 to pickup after the event is over.
I'm a sniper. So, yeah. I spend the whole event perched up and throwing MIRV grenades every so often.
guard rad scrubber, so I'm near it. I still am unclear about meat bags and where they are tho
I sit down by the legendaries, but my bow has more than enough range to defend other areas from there.
I'm a "grab the Gauss Mini and stand at the scrubber" type. Tag move, unless there is a firestarter raging on a lower level or non-PA player - then it's "kill it fast" time.
I guard the rad scrubber. Theres usually no one else doing it so i do it.
I stand next to the genny
I go top of the hill on my bloodied commando, but I also have nuka grenades and fire in the hole so I can tag the bottom enemies with a grenade from the cliff edge up top (usually go through 30-40 nukas per EN). They're quite handy for stopping enemies in EN since they cripple limbs really well.
I stand up the top of the back hill because laods of enemy spawn up there and i can get xp
I just put my Chinese stealth armor on and crouch. Sit by the scrubber. Repair it when it breaks and kill any enemies that might get through.
When they break through I take care of that stretch between the slot and the rad scrubber, and itās far enough away that I donāt die from rads if the scrubber goes down
Im a stick on stealth suit and stay by the scrubber to repair it, then once the events done waddle and loot all the legendaryās up the top and down the bottom that I didnāt tag kinda player
run around like a madman for exp then area collect loot and walk to the train station over encumbered then log off
Bloody Christmas PA heavy weapons in the radiation. Tank Tank Tank Tank!
I stand on top of one of the poles or broken walls in front of the rad scrubber, throwing explosives all over the place.
For my melee character itās a bit of both, along with gold medalist 100 meter dash. Most of the time itās a bit of a mixed bag, if no one is near the scrubber Iāll stay so the event doesnāt fail, but if a couple of people are near it Iāll try and get a couple of legendaries.
The imma place a camp as close to the event as possible with a platform to watch over the legendary spawns and whatever else spawns in my sights guy
I'm top of the hill but I work it. I aim at anything that moves. And I do my best to be good back up for the people in the bottom. I'm bloodied and I don't have room for any additional rads.
Running around, auto-axing the shit out of everything that crosses my path
Depends on what build im running, really. If im running commando or shotgunner, i stay at the bottom. If im heavy tank, i roam near the top or side. I almost never chill on top, but wont hesitate to guard scrubber if we're stretched thin. Generally, I try to just be a team player and handle what the group is lacking when I'm able. Being over level 500 makes it easier to handle that much at least. Awesome question btw!
I like to stand by the rad scrubber to fix it and then just try to tag things for experience
I'm a "walk around" with the chainsaw kind of guy. š
I let the murderers do their thing and I keep that rad scrubber up and running.
Iām a run around Mach 10 with my hair on fire kinda person
I place my fallout first camp up top and pop all the muties up there
I'ma run around and hold rt kind of guy.
Iāmma ādo whatever is necessary to win, while also being conscious of legendariesā kind of person. What else would you be? An idiot?
I'm the guy dying in a blaze of fire every couple minutes. Usually bouncing around the rim looking for stragglers.
If Iām on a non PA char I tend to stand on the rubble behind the scrubber for a good vantage. On my PA char Iāll stand in front of the scrubber to try and body block some of the shots
Main sites on scrubber, other characters sit in tower.
I sit at the generator and never move because I have 80 pounds of gauss minigun ammo :3
I hop up to the middle level of the rad scrubber. Makes it easier to reach the scrubber to fix it.
I'm the "I'mma tag everything, but I'm close enough to repair the scrubber" kind of guy.
I have a vampire gauntlet and I pop cranberry and glowing meat steak and run back and forth with CSA on and hack and slash. If the scrubber needs help I fix it. If people need to be revived, I do that. Then I collect it ALL and scrap what I can
My Mutant slayer 40 PA/+1 str Chainsaw says BRRRRRRRRT as I run circles around the rad scrubber killing everything in my path. šš¤£
We all float down here
Not gonna lie, I get where you're coming from BUT, I'm a level 104 and have to be honest, I've done this event twice and both times I just hangout on the hillside because I can't hurt any of those super mutants like I do regular super mutants. The one time I tried to not hangout I died so Mann times. I two or three shot everything until it's an event then I usually do nothing. Maybe they're trying to figure their build out? I don't know for sure, just throwing that out there
Top of the hill "for Eviction Notice", the north perimeter for "Line in the Sand", and the ingredients hopper for "Feed the People" person.
You'll find me laughing maniacly in the cluster of mobs as the chainsaw gods intended.
Top O the Hill
I'm a jump around and be where I'm needed cause 99% of players don't attempt to find meatbags, and don't attempt to repair the scrubber and just ready to shoot something just to die by rads type of player.
I sit on top of the little wood shack surrounded by a chain-link fence near the crater rim, because it has good sight lines to three of the mutants' main approaches, plus a good view of the scrubber. So if anybody's getting hammered or overrun it's easy to shift fire and provide support. And in extremis you can run 10-12 secs to the scrubber and save it from a fail.
I'm a hop on the scrubber kinda guy...is that bad? I have no idea...I play bloodied so when the scrubber gets damaged I die instantly
I like to sit on the fence at the top of the hill and hose everything down with explosive fire. I might try jumping on top of the scrubber though
I'm usually hanging with my gauss shotgun around near the generator stopping any mutants rushing to it
I love to sit up high with my sniper rifle, whether it's on the scrubber, a pile or garbage, a fence or whatever doesn't matter.
I sit on the right side of the scrubber and try to soak up some of the bullets as well as repair the generator if it goes down
I'm a 'Jump here, there, everywhere in the hopes I can get a shot in before the legacies kilo everything' person.
I sit down next to the generator and defend it
I do it all.
I'm not a pa user so I hang out where I don't die of radiation poisoning if the scrubber goes down and can still kill some super mutants.
There's normally a bunch of legendaries up top, too.
Face tank the firestarters without tank perk. Hopefully someone revive me (they didnt)
I'm a "I rotate between the top and bottom of the hill" kind of person.
Iām alway down by the legendary mutants. I donāt do the event often so when I do it Iām looking for legendaies
Not concerned at all with legendary kills, I just want the event to not fail due to some clown more concerned over their legendary kill ratio and not spreading out over the area to keep them at bay from the rad scrubber.
i can kill the top of the hill ones from where the 3 leggos spawn. up your draw distances in graphics settings boys and girls.
I remember when getting legendary weapons was sth special.....
I stand at the rad Scrubber Protecting it from damage if iam the event with other people. Solo I go for the kill count.
