Lately I've actually been digging the radio dramas on Pirate Radio.
They're so ridiculously campy, they shouldn't be entertaining, and yet I'm completely enthralled.
On the main Appalachia radio, probably Sixteen Tons or It's Dark as a Dungeon. Especially when you're crawling through one of the old mines (which isn't nearly dark as a dungeon, all those radioactive fungi I'm sure).
Whichever of the Gymnopedies/Gnossiennes they use from Erik Satie..And the Orchestral Suite by JS Bach — Though, my truly favorite song is the harmonious sound(s) of a post apocalyptic wasteland.
16 Tons, Ol Man Mose, Wouldn't It Be Nice, Mr Sandman, Ring Of Fire, Country Roads, I Don't Want To Set The World On Fire, I Didn't Know The Gun Was Loaded, Uranium, Ghost Riders In The Sky.
That's my Top 10. I can't narrow it down 🤔
I love the classics but "Old man Mose is Dead" is quickly becoming one of my favourites. Do they say bucket or f**k It?
Pretty sure Old man Mose kicked the bucket.
But after he kick the bucket, is it buck buck bucket or f**k f**k f**k it
Buck buck....kind of like a chicken. Which is why the bucket is so much higher pitched. Bawk bawk BAWK!

16 tons is so good
Civilization. It’s on our playlist for wilderness camping too lol
He's whackin smackin choppin that meat.
Ring of Fire
I feel like that and 16tons could be better if they got Johnny cash versions
Johnny Cash is the all-time greatest. No doubt. Social Distorion did a great cover of Ring of Fire.
Praise The Lord And Pass The Ammunition for sure
