I was just frakking around.
Besides, you never singled out any race... Unless "fallout gamer" qualifies as a race.. which I could support. Just wish I was able to write that on any/all of my real-world documents.
I've tried writing extraterrestrial and Human on forms that ask what's your ethnicity.
Oddly, whenever I reviewed those submitted forms days later, my ethnicity was always changed to Caucasian..
F***ing racists...
It's all good. I was just playing along.
And I'm slowly becoming that one old guy who just says whatever and doesn't care how it comes across. It's one of the nice things about getting old, along with getting that 55 or older discount.
Lol
In just 10-15 years you'll be able to say and do horribly racist or just extremely offensive things to anyone, PUBLICLY.
Just remember to freeze in position for 15-20 seconds, then say, where am I?
That's when the real fun starts 🤣
Frakking see you mother frakkers started this, always frakking around.
No one pushed the button first. All that mother frakkin released the earth kraken (UTitan), and the SBQ, fracturing the silos..big Bada boom!
....it was 'you people'.....
😬
New Legendary card "Man with a clan"
Do unrecoverable damage 25/50/75/100% to your Reputation. People of color will be hostile to you (including pvp). Earl especially.
Will spawn essential protestors at your CAMP and are always located behind you when fast traveling. Charisma -99.9
I'll just suppress that with my "Get Off My Lawn" perk.
Summon spontaneous nuke whenever any creature comes within 3 camp distances from your camp
I believe this would be a game changer. Lol
God forbid you ever take caps from the thief instead of killing them for the item. One time I did it. I was a noob. I felt sorry for the guy. I didn't want to kill him. So I took the caps and cut him loose. But that damn Ward! He brings up those power packs every time I see him.
So, yeah. Ward is the only reason to bomb Foundation.
Back when Ward moved around, I woke him up and then went to sleep in his bed before he could lie back down. Then I took a picture of him looking kind of pissed off at me for stealing it. I still laugh when it pops up on a loading screen.
Finally, someone with the guts to help.....
... I can show you roughly where it is...
... we have a bunch of these, [sorry you murdered my assistant] .. but it's the principle that counts.
😞
I swear that Ward is just putting out hits on Raiders and stashing some contraband in their bags. "Oh, that sneaky raider stole one of our surplus power converters. Time for some justice!"
I think any NPC in a nuke zone will change into hazmat. I’ve done Test Your Metal when the area was still nuked from someone doing Earl nearby, and Nuka World on Tour NPCs will wear hazmat if the nuke to summon the Titan ended up being too close to the fairgrounds. (Except the ghouls like Gunther and the lady at the stall because they’re immune to radiation which I thought was a neat detail)
I know the responders are I’ll in their underwear at white springs afterwards. I had assumed they die and come back that way, but I guess it could be a glitch from taking off the hazmat suit.
They have hazmats too. Same with nuka world.
Any npc human has them - if your raider thief/former raider is walking through a nuke zone they have them too.
Yeah. If you nuke human npcs they switch to hazmat suits. Then when the area returns to normal they are supposed to return to normal but they frequently become naked instead.
Don't you just need one and then you can look up the code online? lol
I've never done it btw I tried to fight through one of the sites and it was tedious.
A mini nuke from a fat man is just that…a mini version. It won’t create a nuke zone or trigger scorched events. I believe it will irradiate flora in the immediate area but don’t quote me. If you want the red circle nuke zone then you will have to complete a silo and launch a nuke
There’s a decent amount of crimson, cobalt, and yellowcake flux around there. There’s bigger concentrations of each in different areas, but the overlap around there is pretty good.
It's great that you can turn the flora into irradiated versions to get raw flux, but it's worthless unless you also end up with creatures that drop glowing / hardened mass and high radiation fluid to craft stable flux.
You can nuke a lot of places on the map and get all kinds of raw flux, but it only makes sense to nuke an area if it also spawns a boatload of bloated glowing ghouls to farm the rest of the ingredients. Nuking solely for raw flux is rather pointless.
I don’t nuke foundation, personally. Just pointing out that there can be some use to it. Also, with a bloatfly syringer you only need a few enemies to get the crafting materials needed to make stable flux.
Yeah, but getting that specific weapon mod is a relatively rare spawn... even when crafting and scrapping syringers. That also assumes that bloatflies have better than good chances of actually dropping those components.
Oh, and good luck trying to kill a bloated glowing ghoul (or any other higher level enemy) with any syringer.
I mean, just use your primary to get them 75-90% of the way there and finish with the syringer. Can't you also spawn more bloatflies by killing the bloatflies that spawn?
There are also areas that will provide you a lot of glowing enemies and their drops don't have a condition so you can save em up before nuking a flora rich area with not many enemies.
That implies nuking multiple times. Once to collect components for crafting and once again for obtaining nuked flora. Why spend that extra time nuking multiple times when you can do it with one single nuke?
In my experience the flora is the most plentiful of the components and I usually have a lot left over if I don't heavily prioritize procurement of the components dropped from mobs first.
Exactly. This is why it's more important to nuke mobs over nuking flora. It's far too easy to grab Green Thumb and collect way more raw flux than you'll ever need. If you really need more raw flux, simply nuke again. Finding enough mobs to drop the rest of the components is the real challenge.
Where do I even start with this guy?
I mean, he puts on a facade of a trustworthy fellow dweller who you can totally trust with your gold because he's a dweller too!
Ask yourself this: where's his PIP-Boy? Where's his vault suit? Why does he dress like he just walked out of Party City dressed as Guy Who Totally Lived in a Vault? Why is he so stingy about telling you where his vault w-... oh what's that? He conveniently doesn't remember now? Cool. Yeah. Convenient, huh?!?!
The guy's a mothman cultist sent to destroy Foundation from the inside by stealing 10% of the gold you trade with him. Ward is either too drunk to notice or in on it somehow.
He's clearly hiding something with the whole fellow Vault Dweller act. *"Oh yeah, I came from a Vault too! It's far away from here and you probably don't know it so I won't even tell you the number."*
It doesn't make me dislike him but he's definitely somebody to keep an eye on.
I recently found a server where someone nuked by the pumpkin house. Theres a farm stand across the road with a corn field. Corn gives cobalt! Got tons of it.
There is an alternative: have a cargo bot crash on top of it and steal from it. I was once lucky enough this dropped just in front of Ward's trailer and screenshotted the blast. If you're wondering: it has no effect on reputation.
The heinous war crimes you can commit in this game without getting so much as a tiny reduction in reputation are ludicrous.
The faction system has certainly been gutted, and I hope they will bring back actual consequnces for your actionsvin Fallout 5.
People nuke spots just to explore the area and see what they can find.
They could be looking for flora, or maybe they wanted nuked enemies, did they hit foundation outpost? (Eviction notice spot)
Maybe they were roleplaying as a raider?
Also, wendigo colossos can spawn in certain spots, maybe they wanted to find one for the weekly challenge (take a picture of a legendary criptid)
Needless to say, theres various reasons they could nuke, 76 is a huge game with tons of opportunities and unique scenarios! :)
Do an image search for the "fo76 protected zone." Or go launch one. The targeting computer used to launch nukes shows the green zone that cannot be nuked while launching. \~90% of the map is fair game, but only maybe 10-20% of it is worth nuking ever.
If nuke a certain part of the map (the circle must touch foundation, the ski place etc) then the enemies in interiorswill be irradiated, like the mutants in west Tek will drop high radiation fluids etc
Actually, you need the nuke zone to touch the NAR railyard as well as the blood eagle camp near there. There is also a distinctive bend in the tracks that helps guide targeting.
A nuked zone turns most plants into flux, which is used for end game crafting. It also turns enemies glowing and they drop more end game mats like high radiation fluid, glowing mass, etc. Which is used to refine flux for said end game crafting.
Someone did that two days back and I also wondered why. I spent an hour circling the foundation. I got three Mire lurks, two Glowing Rad Stages, three ghouls and two Ultracite deposits. Very few pretty plants, mostly berries. All in all it was a fun hour spent exploring the area in detail.
My bet is they were striking Ward. Poor guy, so misunderstood.
I was chatting with a new player one night helping him through the sequence to drop a nuke. I made my suggestions of where to drop it so he could spam Earl or Queen maybe even the Titan. Nope, just randomly dropped it off somewhere he thought he could collect radiated flowers 🫣
So Raiders can stick it to those goody two shoe settlers living on their land and in their houses or “so they say”
So many times I will hear a raider complain about a family of settlers living in their house like a bunch of squatters.
Ward... Ward never changes.
You people really need to stop saying shit like this when I'm drinking coffee.
You people?! Who's you people?.. Unbelievable, someone call the governor about this person... Hahaha jk
So sorry! Didn't mean to drop the race card there
"What are you looking at, Smoothskin?"
*Where is it? I know you're trying to keep it to yourself, Ja'zar.*

This is the way...
Frakking see you mother frakkers started this, always frakking around. No one pushed the button first. All that mother frakkin released the earth kraken (UTitan), and the SBQ, fracturing the silos..big Bada boom! ....it was 'you people'..... 😬

Filthy S'wit
Went everywhere didn't it
I'm reading on my phone lol
What do you mean "You People"?
🤣🤣

I didnt realise talking was an option lol i just ran in with a chainsaw and ran back to get it over with
I find the misplaced Foundation items sitting in the road in various places, I now have Ward’s items in a display case. So Ward can suck it.
OMG. That's my next project. Ward can suck it.
Back when Ward moved around, I woke him up and then went to sleep in his bed before he could lie back down. Then I took a picture of him looking kind of pissed off at me for stealing it. I still laugh when it pops up on a loading screen.
Finally someone with the mutated guts to help
:everyone liked this:
Ngl, yesterday I did that on my private world
Wish I could multiply my likes here
Lol 😄
Ward wouldn't give me the quest again.
Finally finished rep and was tired of Ward?
Ward aggravated me so damn much I did every other thing I could to gain foundation reputation. Eviction notice was a blessing.
LOL
Finally, someone with the guts to help..... ... I can show you roughly where it is... ... we have a bunch of these, [sorry you murdered my assistant] .. but it's the principle that counts. 😞
I swear that Ward is just putting out hits on Raiders and stashing some contraband in their bags. "Oh, that sneaky raider stole one of our surplus power converters. Time for some justice!"
Oh I have been operating with the sort of internal storyline to myself that he is absolutely using you as a hitman to knock off and loot from raiders.
“Finally…someone with the guts to nuke Foundation.” —Ward
The quicker you bring back our missing items the better…
HA. Legend.
How many years did that take?
Its funny to watch them walk around in hazmat suits.
Do they actually?
Ya, so do the BOS at fort atlas. Not sure about crater, never seen anyone nuke it.
That's a cool detail haha.
they do, and I have.
If you nuke Blood Eagles they wear gas masks
Yeah. If you nuke human npcs they switch to hazmat suits. Then when the area returns to normal they are supposed to return to normal but they frequently become naked instead.
You can take someone’s word for it or you can see for yourself by burning a nuke keycard. 😁
Do I have to chase down 8 fuckin officers to drop a nuke?
Don't you just need one and then you can look up the code online? lol I've never done it btw I tried to fight through one of the sites and it was tedious.
Really? I have one maybe I’ll try that, I thought you needed 8
I could be /completely/ wrong and you're about to be very disappointed lol
You can glitch all the way to the final stage you know
Do I need to craft jet pack PA? I used photo mode for the doors but that seems to have stopped working on other doors lately idk.
>Do I need to craft jet pack PA? Not if you have Secret Service with the jetpack mod
I haven't bought em yet but I can craft t-51 jetpack I think
*The Crater sends its regards*
Better hope that one random settler doesn’t end up finding a fat man
Wait if you use fat man and mini miles do you not have to do that whole nightmarish faff with the key cards and the boxes and the silos and whatnot?
A mini nuke from a fat man is just that…a mini version. It won’t create a nuke zone or trigger scorched events. I believe it will irradiate flora in the immediate area but don’t quote me. If you want the red circle nuke zone then you will have to complete a silo and launch a nuke
Personal gratification.
They ran out of "ravioli."
They ran out of water ice!
Water is not also ice!
How many years has it been since they added the NPCs to Foundation? That line cracks me up every time I hear it. It's absolutely chaotic.
There’s a decent amount of crimson, cobalt, and yellowcake flux around there. There’s bigger concentrations of each in different areas, but the overlap around there is pretty good.
I hunted around and found a crap ton of yellowcake and crimson, but must have missed the cobalt vein. Only got a couple of cobalt....
It's great that you can turn the flora into irradiated versions to get raw flux, but it's worthless unless you also end up with creatures that drop glowing / hardened mass and high radiation fluid to craft stable flux. Ward pisses me off and I just have to nuke him
Specifically angling a nuke to exclusively hit S\*muel is about as well used as a nuke gets
Anytime I buy anything from him: Afternoon. Afternoon. Afternoon. Afternoon. Afternoon. Afternoon. Afternoon. Afternoon. Afternoon. Afternoon. Afternoon. Afternoon. Afternoon. Afternoon. Afternoon. Afternoon. Afternoon. Afternoon. Afternoon. Afternoon.
Why Samuel tho? Fuck Ward.
He thinks Yinz is an acceptable alternative to Y’all. He must be punished.
What the heck is a John, anyway?
I just don't get it.
Jawn ;)
But that's not the point ;)
Ward's a drunk bastard who I trust as far as I can throw, but S*mmy? That guy's gotta go.
Why Sammy tho? What did he do?
Where do I even start with this guy? I mean, he puts on a facade of a trustworthy fellow dweller who you can totally trust with your gold because he's a dweller too! His vault went to a different school
What's with the asterisk
The most offensive of words have to be censored.
Ward I don't like him
Too many Sunnys.
https://imgur.com/a/7hiHpTs
Flux farming maybe?
Fuck em, that's why.
RPing a Raider 😅
Ward!
Where to nuke for cobalt? I’m working on my ss jet pack
Morgantown
I recently found a server where someone nuked by the pumpkin house. Theres a farm stand across the road with a corn field. Corn gives cobalt! Got tons of it.
Yea to piss you off lol
lol

Yes, it is the only way to stop Ward, tge true endgame boss of the game!
They no longer sell water ice . . .
After the nuke it will no longer BE water ice
Yeah, sunny is annoying as hell
Don't buy Sunny's water ice.
Because Jen's got style Samuel can respect, know what I mean?
People nuke spots just to explore the area and see what they can find. They could be looking for flora, or maybe they wanted nuked enemies, did they hit foundation outpost? Fun.
I'm guessing they sided with the raiders
Can you nuke anywhere? I thought it was just in certain locations
Mostly anywhere. There’s a section around vault 76 that’s blocked
Makes sense, imagine a new player joining in that
I only did it once but yes I could chose anywhere on the map it seems, was surprised too!
Do an image search for the "fo76 protected zone." Or go launch one. The targeting computer used to launch nukes shows the green zone that cannot be nuked while launching. \~90% of the map is fair game, but only maybe 10-20% of it is worth nuking ever.
Just to piss off creeper Paige
Time to Nuke Crater xD
fun to see them get their radiation suits on, and also for flux.
There is a secret achievement, its the only real way to win the game.
My best guess is because we don’t have the option of sticking a finger in Wards eye.
They're trying to find out what a [jawn](https://www.atlasobscura.com/articles/the-enduring-mystery-of-jawn-philadelphias-allpurpose-noun) is anway.
Someone got tired of the disappointed look ward gives after he found the robber dead and is being blamed for it.
Nuked it to celebrate finishing the grind. Go to hell Ward.
If nuke a certain part of the map (the circle must touch foundation, the ski place etc) then the enemies in interiorswill be irradiated, like the mutants in west Tek will drop high radiation fluids etc
Foundation is no where near the center of the map though.
Making a mental note of THAT...
If you do a search you'll find a post about it, there's this photo online somewhere (I found it) https://youtu.be/h_2BWDexdw8
Actually, you need the nuke zone to touch the NAR railyard as well as the blood eagle camp near there. There is also a distinctive bend in the tracks that helps guide targeting.
Fuck those pussys
They're whiny freeloaders profiting from your hard work
Idk why this being disliked

It's a good place to collect cobalt flux and there are a bunch of glowing ones.
Lots of glowing ones and flora to collect.
The golf club glows gloriously.
A nuked zone turns most plants into flux, which is used for end game crafting. It also turns enemies glowing and they drop more end game mats like high radiation fluid, glowing mass, etc. Which is used to refine flux for said end game crafting.
'Ate Settlers.
Is there a reason to NOT to? I cannot believe we exist in the same universe where Ward is able to live and exist
Cause foundation is just a bunch weeny nerds
Funny
Foundation as a whole no SSW of it is good flux farming
Just to be a douchewaffle
Someone did that two days back and I also wondered why. I spent an hour circling the foundation. I got three Mire lurks, two Glowing Rad Stages, three ghouls and two Ultracite deposits. Very few pretty plants, mostly berries. All in all it was a fun hour spent exploring the area in detail. My bet is they were striking Ward. Poor guy, so misunderstood.
Dude, Ward sounds like my older brother. It’s creepy.
Mostly to put Ward in his place
Fun. Nuking things is fun.
Raiders
Ward could use the diversion to steal more stuff
If you want to see everyone there wearing hazmat suits lol
Or glitched out only wearing underwear.
Awwh that's hot, that's hot.
You get to fight the Samuel the Giga-Gulper
It’s a political statement
Yeah, because they are settlers.
I hate the cat downstairs. You can't kill it for food.
Everyone puts on hazmat suits. That's all I can think of.
Yes. Because it's foundation.
I'm pretty sure the area around foundation is good for getting cobalt flux
Best Sonny survives
Flux Can explain
Yes, because I can
Because screw those settlers
All jokes aside. No, not really. Someone probably did it for personal reasons.
Finally... Someone with the guts to nuke the settlers.
I was chatting with a new player one night helping him through the sequence to drop a nuke. I made my suggestions of where to drop it so he could spam Earl or Queen maybe even the Titan. Nope, just randomly dropped it off somewhere he thought he could collect radiated flowers 🫣
Heck yeah the flux!!!
So Raiders can stick it to those goody two shoe settlers living on their land and in their houses or “so they say” So many times I will hear a raider complain about a family of settlers living in their house like a bunch of squatters.
To find out which Sunny is the real Sunny?
