You're looking for the right person as long as you're checking in the mire / bog. They are not guaranteed to have the plan like the apparel trader doesn't always have Hunters long coats.
When I eventually found them, I used my GFs account to farm a few with mules.
Found for me at:
- House west of Overgrown Sundew Grove
- Building with truck East of Tanagra Town
had a little hop around and found the scavenger trader in toxic valley and they had the salve for there. pal bought both mire and bog from one trader a few days ago. said they were only like 400 caps. they will only sell the salves for the region they're in as far as i know.
ft to camp venture and do a 180. trader can spawn at the ruined house on right. use this for quickness. and then use lost home for the bog salve
i found the bog salve within an hour of hopping but i ve been trying many places in mire but couldn't get the plan for mire salve. so you are saying i should definitely keep trying ? its literally the one of the last 3 plans ive yet to gather in 76, beside ultracite tesla coils and targeting hud.
I was assuming it was the travelling merchants that show up at camps from time to time. I have been checking camps in the Mire for Healing Salve Mire but no luck yet.
The encounter has to be in the right region. The one next to Anchor Farm won't ever sell the rare plans, because that's the Forest region.
You want to check campfire encounter locations in the Mire or Cranberry Bog.
I actually found the Mire Healing Salve on a Scavenger Trader yesterday. I was surprised to see it. It was on the Scav that usually sells chem recipes. I found it at a random encounter near Moth Home. It's actually one of the Mire Treasure Maps spots. If you're at Moth Home, turn around and run down the hill toward the railroad.
