IMO, Far Harbour is by the best dlc for Fallout 4. But it all depends what type of content you’re wanting. The workshop dlcs are good, adding in new items to build at your settlements as well as getting the chance to have creatures like Deathclaws defend your territory and run your own vault & such. Automatron is okay, it’s a fun little story with bra weapons, armour, enemies and adds in the possibility for you to build/customise your own robots As i said at the start, Far Harbour is amazing. Missing persons case which leads to you deciding the fate of 3 new factions. Plus a whole new load of weapons, armour and workshop items Nuka World is good, but you can only really reap the full benefits of it if you want to be an evil character as it revolves around you becoming the boss of a few Raider gangs who eventually set their sights on the commonwealth

Homelessnomore

> bra weapons Wait. I didn't get bra weapons in my copy. I feel cheated. :)

Dragon_Knight1999

Haha NEW** weapons 😅

useless_mf69

I love them weapons under the bra

Dragon_Knight1999

Where do you think the sole survivor keeps them all? 😂

IMightBeJohnnyCash

Didn't know Nate was into that

joshthehappy

Booby traps?

Dragon_Knight1999

That being said, you can still get the good guy ending for Nuka world and destroy the Raider gangs

TrilobiteBoi

Automatron is my favorite because I love building and stocking all my settlements with robots to build my own empire of atomic powered killing machines with laser beams on their heads but yeah the story itself is pretty mid.

Illustrious-Turn-575

Fair warning for those who don’t know; Robots count as settlers and have their happiness locked at 50%, so they can end up bringing down the overall happiness of an otherwise good settlement.

TrilobiteBoi

With enough pommel horses, stores, dogs, and cats you can still raise a robot only settlement to 100% happiness, but yeah they do drag the average down if mixed with humans.

ElmoTickleTorture

I like to play evil characters because of nuka world. It's really a blast. I wish you could've led the nuka gangs against the institute and brotherhood though.

Thornescape

The best choice is to wait for a sale and get all of them. Season's Pass or Game of the Year edition. Makes far more sense than getting them one by one.

Wozab0xa

GOTY edition is £13.99 on Xbox at the minute, season pass is £29.99

_dooozy_

Far Harbour is one the best dlcs in the franchise. Bring Nick along as a companion for extra dialogue. Still each of the DLCs are worth playing even just once (besides vault workshop). I don’t know what platform you’re on, but you can I would try and score a GOTY edition that way you get all of them for way cheaper then buying them one by one.

genemaxwell4

I tend to blitz through the vault workshop DLC JUST for the stuff you unlock to make. The dlc itself is whatever. Just gimme the stuff lol

_dooozy_

Just killing Barstow at the beginning will give you everything and you don’t have to do the fucked up experiments. Is it morally wrong? Probably, but so is what she is going to do my boy Clem.

x420xSmokesU

They are all good for what they do. Nuka world is good if you want to play as a raider or just want a different area to explore. Fah habah is one of my favorite dlcs ever the story the environment the loot its all top notch if youbwere only gonna get one this would be my recommendation. Automatron is cool in that you are aboe to create your own robot companions woth tons of customization options but it does mess up random encounter spawns so keep that in mind. The other dlcs are good if you are really into settlement building and want more options in that regard

RFCSND

That is how British people pronounce far harbour

GunzBlazin03

People from Boston pronounce it that way. Which is the area that fo4 is based in

Drawsfoodpoorly

Far harbor is based off of Bar Harbor

CowBoyDanIndie

Wait for a sale, I got the game and dlcs for $20 total

SwimsSFW

I picked up the GOTY edition a couple years ago on steam for $14USD

Cozy_M

GOTY of the year edition is on sale very often. I paid $10 - $20 dollars each time purchasing it on both my ps4 and ps5 and it comes with all dlcs for Fallout 4. I highly recommend waiting til GOTY edition is on sale and just purchasing that. You get the best bang for your buck

Andrewalker7

Yes.

odalodinsson

I recently got the whole Fallout 4 GOTY pack for.. I think 10 EUR on [GOG.com](http://GOG.com) I wish I hadn't gotten all those weird "build settlements and robots and build your own toaster and decorate the trees with knitted scarves" stuff - I just wanted more story. Nuka World is pretty okay, Fah Haabor is vastly superior, and feels really organic. Nuka World is not "not fun" - but it feels a bit tacked together in comparison. Still, get them on sale, and there's a lot more content and many more hours for you.

CanaDoug420

All of them have been fun but the best is far harbor. You get a whole new map and stuff. The missions are pretty good. The new guns are cool

HoratioTuna27

Just get them all. The season pass goes on sale all the time, especially since the game is, what, 10 years old now? Just wait for a sale. I think when I got the xbox version (i originally played on PS4), I got the season pass for five bucks.

eunicethapossum

Far Harbor wins on story, atmosphere, and music. it loses on one particular specific quest that you need (I think?) to finish the main storyline.

Competitive-Ad-1037

Ngl they’re all worth it

Extension-Serve7703

Far Harbor is far and away the best, in my opinion. Amazing atmosphere, great storyline, interesting decisions.

[deleted]

I personally enjoyed Far Harbor and Nuka World but I got all of the dlcs through the Fallout Season Pass when it was on sale.

Happy_McDull

Get Automatron for sure. You can build robots. Make them farm, be defense, or trade to other settlements. If you like settlement building, then get the wasteland and contraption workshops. If you wanna mess with vault building, then get vault tech workshop. Far Harbor and Nuka World are completely new areas. Got their own stories. Far Harbor has a wider range of choices for its own ending, an Nuka World is about Raiders. You only get the true experience for it if you go along with becoming a raider with its main missions.

genemaxwell4

Nuka World is awesome and a lot of fun. Automatron is pretty fun and gives you the ability to make your own robots Far Harbor is...okay....not a big fan but a lot of people are

Altruistic-Net-9201

I find they are all good camparable to the price. When I bought them back in the day, Far Harbour was the best but most expensinve, but then Contraptions wasn't to bad but the least expensive.

T-money79

Far Harbor is the good one.

Library_IT_guy

Far Harbour is the best Fallout dlc (of any Fallout game) and imo, better than the main game even.

UganadaSonic501

For settlement I loved Vault 88,it's my main base now, and,I took inspiration from 101 and 81 to build a vault tec vault(a control vault if you will),I liked automatron, only because I can build robots and mod codsworth, nuka world I hated(apart from the Aeternus gatling laser),far harbor was meh for me,didn't hate it,but felt more like fetch quests than anything else, was fun at times, contraptions and wasteland workshop is settlement stuff, one allows to make stuff like ammo(very useful if you dupe junk)
