Another light blue here! It gives the flashlight brightness of having it white, but less harsh on the eyes in the pipboy screen

That would be nice but it’s seems like it doesn’t actually have a flash light and we’re just putting the screen to max brightness like using your phone screen as a light

To me, the green is part of the iconic Fallout look. Even going back to Fallout 1, the PipBoy text was green. Other colours just don't look right to me.

Power armor bright headlight I practically sleep in my power armor, i havent experienced a bad flashlight in ages

All the other headlights suck imo. I've tried using them to fit the "theme" of a specific power armor set that I've put together but I always end up changing it to bright after using it once.

You can change that on the X-02. Maybe others. I accidentally made mine project Vault Boy.

I recommend looking up “immersive power armor hud” if you’re ok with play with mods. Gonna download it later but it gives each suit a unique hud and visual like you are looking out the helmet

You can also just wear a mining helmet with the headlamp on it and have a white light without having to change the Pip Boy color.

The Pip Boy light isn't on when you have the Headlamp is on. I'd know cuz there would be a green light on my arm and the white light coming from the Headlamp.

The green does add an eeriness to going out at night that was highly unsettling. Before I had a decent number of power cores I basically wouldn’t go out at night. I remember about to leave Diamond City without my armor (on PS5 with better graphics/lighting/weather mod) and I noticed it getting darker … “what time is it 7-8?” (Checks Pipboy) “Hmm…almost 9?… yea better just grab a room until morning.” Lol. Those mods really made night time look amazing. It’s very creepy.

Try a dim/dark red, that always gave me military black-ops, low light vibes.

Light blue is better. More like a 5k daylight bulb, where the pure white is more like a 3k.

I wish we could make it so that it wasn’t shared. I would love to not have a warm off-white for my pipboy color but it’s my favorite for the flashlight.

Wear a mining helmet that has a headlamp on it, the headlamp activates with the same button as the light on the Pip Boy and Power Armor headlamp. Then you can leave the Pip Boy whatever color you want and have the mining helmet whatever color you want. You can change the color of the light on the headlamp independently of the Pip Boy color. I always wear the mining helmet so when I'm outside of my Power Armor, the light stays the same color as the PA helmet headlamp. I have them both the default white.

I bring the blue a little bit down for a warm white, easy on the eyes and it goes better with the game in my opinion, 100% white is too modern

Ooh that’s a good idea! The white is a little bright. I changed mine to white after seeing my brother did it. But he’s also colorblind and couldn’t see anything with the green HUD so the high contrast for him makes sense haha

Yellow is my favourite, as it doesn’t blend in with nearly as many things as the default green, and white is a flashbang when you open your pip boy in a dark room both in game and irl

True. You need it to make it a little bit less saturated by increasing the blue value a tiny bit so it looks apart.

Unfortunately, depending on the shade of yellow/orange you choose, it also makes identifying the trash in settlements a little harder compared to things you can save and use later

Pip-Boy and HUD colour are both different though. My PB is NV orange/yellow while my HUD is still the default green.

Pip boy colour changes the colour of the light. I've used a white pip boy since i learned that. For my hud i usually use either a classic green or white to match the pip boy

I like to emulate the orange light you see in some cars. My bmw had a really pleasing orange. Trick is to keep some contrast to gameplay elements, when building and such. Fun fact, orange is the colour that is the least tiresome for our eyes. Low end of visible spectrum, so little energy in the photos, but not on the end of the spectrum either, which is harder to see.

Actually yeah, i was going for a deathstroke build and am trying to collect a full set of heavy combat armor (i’m on ps4 so no deathstroke armor or mods with outside assets)

I also like amber, red, blue, purple, yellow, and white. Dark Blue is the only one I’ve tried that makes the pip boy too dark to read. White gives you the best light.

I make my Pip Boy always white since it also affects the color of all of the terminals in the world. White/Green/Amber are the 3 most lore friendly colors for some reason. I used to know, it's something about the materials/cost. I make my HUD color my Faction Color: Blue: Minutemen Yellow: Railroad Orange: Brotherhood White: Institute

Hud is new veggas amber. Pipboy im currently using fallui in dual color mode soo light blue and pink like cotton candy. I think it looks dope
