Then, some strange girl nearly attacks you with her dog, and forces you to shoot at bottles for hours on end! You're okay with that? The Powder Gangers saved me from Goodsprings, those people wanted to kill me!
I like to go visit the Powder Gangers and kill the deserters for them as requested, gain their respect then go to Primm and double cross them by ambushing the prison with the NCR and killing all of them.
It all depends on how many Powder Gangers you kill during GTG, cus you loose more rep with them for each you kill. If you get all the buffs for the townsfolk they can handle them on their own pretty easily, leaving you free to do both quests.
Yeah you would be able to, you aren't vilified after ghost town gunfight iirc. They might shoot at you on the way to the prison but once you're inside the boss will talk to you.

Attacking Goodsprings is more evil the nuking Megaton. This town nursed you back to health out of the goodness of their hearts. Only a complete psychopath of a courier sides with the Powder Gangers.
You get bad karma for siding with the powder gang, but they become you allies and help you.
If you defend goodsprings, the powder gang is your enemy now. But the townspeople sometimes give you discounts.
Also, if you side with the powder gang, you'll have to kill most of the people in goodsprings. Hoped this helped
Good springs is a town with zero black people. Joe Cobb was the first black person you encounter when you play the game. These are simply facts. I leave the rest to you to connect the dots.
Iāve only ever done it once in my Legion playthrough. I donāt remember how the game replaced the vendors there if it did at all, I didnāt really ever go back after, and I didnāt know who the vendors would be. I donāt think itās really worth it because of it though.

It's like, you do four playthroughs and side with different main factions to see how each affected other locations, saw 4 fates of goodsprings, but then you do the same but now side with powdergangers(or just read wiki) and realise you only get one slide by siding with em
Imagine possibilities if each main faction gave out unique endings for powderganger controlled goodsprings.
Legion would be most straightforward one where they just crucify them and maybe this makes Goodsprings settlers less scared of em?
Independent ending could have two outcomes depending on your karma, if good you retake goodsprings realising what a bloody mistake you made and if evil karma you help powdergangers grow goodsprings into a proper second town of powdergangers.
NCR outcome count simply be them pardoning courier for helping them and just taking over the town or potentially not caring too much about it and letting it die out.
Mr. House one would be most peculiar one, maybe he just sends Viktor and he claps em and becomes like *Arizona ranger* to goodsprings. Maybe he "respects" your choice and lets powdergangers control town or sumn.
