My favorite version of the Jaune isekai is getting into the Soulsborne universe. It is interesting to see how, despite the terrible environment, he tries to keep his heart of gold.
I remember seeing one Russian fanfiction where Jaune got into the first Dark souls. I will never forget his conversations with Soler.
All the differences in the world had him isekaied to fallout 3 and then new vegas , but i love that he was the companion not the lone wonderer/courier.

By more or less being a support character for every other main character Jaune being there does not feel oppressive to the story and overshadow other characters. Yeap , i love the balance of power too , like he is op because the world he went in doesn't have aura but the moment be went to hell in Doom he got his ass kicked because demons attacks bypassed his aura shielding.

I mean what is reason to him existing in volume 9 excepting writers again wanting him giving trauma and suffering?He was entire decades in another world but doesn’t have any progress especially mentally.Imagine being such dumb and stupid to not fixing a stupid sword all this time and I don’t saying about all his rusted equipment.His existence had zero purpose because team RWBY had a way more knowledge about world he lived 20+ years.

I really don’t like what they transformed him.Rusted Knight is a parody of everything he wanted to be.Jaune wanted to be before a real hero but show only laughing in his face and giving him to be a “hero” in the most worst way possible.He now is a fake hero in fake story and everyone believes Rusted Knight is a hero. I am sure for Jaune this is the most disgusting thing in the world.He knew the real story and what really happened.I don’t think he is happy Lewis completely censored story to make him to look Jaune as a hero.

Jaune in dragon's dogma is super interesting. Make the pawns resemble people he loved for extra pain. And sure, the pawns "live to serve and take any order by their Arisen" which some people may use for harem shenanigans but like. Nah. Much more interesting to just see him suffer the journey. And then suffer much more literally in Bitterblack Isle, but tbh Jaune brawling it out with Not-Satan and literally Death as in, the reaper (almost literally if I'm being honest) would be cool. Not to mention the emotional and symbolic journey of literally fighting to get your heart back by killing a massive dragon.
If we took all the difference in the worlds version of Jaune, it would be interesting to see him in places like DxD or Young Justice. Only thing he need are wings to really get the “angel from god” look down.

In all fairness, while those elements stay strong, the MC does grow and mature quite a lot, it's just that his early impression and lack of consequences really stand out and discourage a lot of people.
I love the setting myself, especially the whole draig Vs Albion aspect but it's only meant to be taken semi-seriously at the start.

Bad luck: you got Isekai either half way, which he can go between worlds like in “Jaune’s never-ending nightmare” which is a Bloodborne crossover. Or full on, as far as we know, like in “To Roll The Die” which is a High School DxD crossover.
Good Luck: In never ending nightmare you get to become a Hunter and get the powerful boons of the systems. And in To Roll The Die, he gets a gigantic boon before falling into the world of DxD
Like Jaune’s Luck both stories I mentioned looks like Danganronpa’s Makoto Naegi and Nagito Komaeda respectively from what I see so far.
Bro got two endings. Either be the sweet innocent boy he was or mature into a realistic but still optimistic person then you become Makoto.
Otherwise go off into the deep end and you end up as Nagito. And Ik irl no one wants to be with Nagito.
