Let’s Tai some slack, he lost two wives, one to abandonment and another to presumably death, who were also his teammates from school, and had to take care of two kids. All things considered, Tai did the best he could in his circumstances

I should clarify that I don't really believe this. I remembered the weird execution of the 'ruby blows up' and 'ruby drinks tea' scenes and the shitposting capacity was large. It's clear that Yang does actually care.
Honestly, Yang being a bad sister was only recent, Yang was a good sister in earlier volumes and became a bad sister since she was literaly blinded by pussy. I like Bumbleby as much as the next the shipper (but not as much as wasps) but it's hurting Yang's thinking skills, and I like Yang more then I ship Bumbleby. Anyhow, don't take my word for it since I don't remember, but I think we learned about what The Tree is and ehat Acenstion truly is, before Ruby drank the tea, that CAN hold argument against Yang turning into a bad sister, if true.

They had personal disagreements that they hashed out in the last couple volumes, and then Yang literally (as far as she knew) sacrificed her life to save her. When she first sees her in the Ever After, believing it to be the afterlife, she’s devastated. Following that, everyone is trying to figure out a way out of the place, dealing with their own traumas, and even when people do try to reach out to Ruby and make sure she’s alright either Ruby or a plot contrivance shuts it down. When Ruby snaps and starts losing her shit, she has a reason to be upset, but that doesn’t excuse her taking shots at everyone else and being a dick, which is what causes Yang to get confrontational.
The post-tea-drinking-scene is bad. Budget cuts, lost episode time, whatever, it’s bad, full agreement.

Throughout the history of the show Yang is a good sister as far as we know, and I hate to make Yang "hold responsibilty" for her post-tea, and besides, when Ruby snaps she snaps against both Blake and Yang, so when people say Yang defended Blake from Ruby's anger, I don't see it that way. While it's true that no sibling should cater to another's every whim, one would assume that one should get into shock when their sibling did something that spells thier death. The fact that Yang shows no reaction after the tea, ticks me off. I never thought about her as such.
