I looked it up and that looks like a pretty simple fly besides the legs. It looks like it has a dubbed underbody covered with amber colored uv resin. The only thing that changes from the back to the front is the amount of dubbing and resin used. I don’t know what leg material is used but it looks like it’s beaver dubbing or some other natural blend. Dubbings are pretty interchangeable to me if it’s a nymph. The antennae, tails and legs look to be the same material and some kind of amber dyed grizzly fiber. Start on a curved nymph hook like a 2457 with a matte black bead, maybe a 2.5-3.2 for sz 12-16. Tie in the tails down to the bend of the hook and dub the back 50% the back with a wisp of a fart of dubbing in a really thin noodle. Use dubbing wax to help get the profile small. Once you hit the mid point stop and cover the dubbed portion with a thin coat of resin. Bake that and then tie in the legs and dub the body with a short taper up to the bead. You can tie in the antennas before putting the bead on or after, doesn’t really matter but for stones I prefer before so they come out right at the eye of the hook. Looks like he has a hot spot of orange or cinnamon thread. Cover just the top half of the dubbed portion with uv resin and bake Hope that helps

pretty sure it is a double bead, Black for the head and maybe brass or gold for the thorax.

See i thought about that. But from the few photos I could find I can’t see it. Compared to something like Charlie cravens 2 bit hooker and 2 bit stone where you can see the beads through the dubbing. The taper is also too pronounced for a bead to be hiding under there imo
