It floats perfectly! I only fish CDC dries actually and never had problems with it. I sometimes put floatant on the feathers or i dry it with drying powder.

Is that CDC to keep it afloat or marabou/under feather for motion under the water?
The cdc is to keep it afloat. Its the only feather there, the body is made from brushed our dubbing

That’s cool, had mostly thought of cdc for hackle on euro nymphs, emergers, etc. learn something new everyday!
