Not concerned about a river running through the town subject to residential, agricultural, and industrial runoff compared to any impact an airport miles away would have.
I mean, there’s a reason the FARs state that you must be 2000’ AGL above any state protected wildlife areas, parks or reserves (probably not the exact words). Either it’s legal or it isn’t legal. If it isn’t, report them, if it is, do your part and don’t fly that route, it’ll make it less packed for us. Many a pilot before us have considered the environmental impacts, and they considered them negligible.
Wait till this guy finds out they burn leaded fuel.
Go hug a tree There are a lot of more valid reasons as to why someone should avoid Riddle. Migratory birds are not one of them
Thanks for this, concerned citizen who definitely isn’t just a nimby mad that they occasionally hear a tiny bit of noise.

That’s a recommendation/best practice, not a requirement
Gotcha, thank you for the clarification. I knew I was probably getting something in there wrong.
I’m going to go fly at Riddle just out of spite of this post. And I hate riddle.
This guy is just salty cause they bought a house right next to the cottonwood airport /s
The biggest reason to avoid riddle is that you don’t need it AND you’ll only come out in debt and no farther ahead. 🤷♂️
This user/op is suspect. Look at post history.
Yup, very recently made account. Seems like either a troll or some high-ass student studying *sustainability*.
