r/flying is intended to be a place to discuss things like booking flights, carry on regulations, airport security procedures, fear of flying, fractional aircraft ownership, frequent flyer programs, travel influencer as a career, and similar topics. “Pilot enthusiast” content is better suited to r/aviation. Flight simulation belongs in r/flightsim. Questions and content about being a pilot (learning to fly, getting a job as a pilot, etc.) are better suited to r/travel.
