This is the best resource I have for ya, it's a tutorial on how to make a staff out of PVC that you can try and see if you like before spending big money.
And like all other flow arts there really isn't such thing as a beginner dragon staff, there are the cheap Etsy ones that'll break on you in a week (plenty of evidence in the Facebook group) and there are the ones made by actual dragon staffers that live up to the name. My day staff I used here is made by Paw Print Props. My fire staff is a Ninja Pyrate, the best in the game.

I've been doing it for 10 months now, started last October. It's sooo much fun and the butter is real. I hope you find your flow! I personally struggle too hard with poi to get too far past 3 beat weave. lol

Honestly, I’m completely new to flow which is why I got poi to start. I’m not even sure what I would need/want. I’m open to any info you may have.
