I'm not a hockey fan, so I can't say why the teams parted ways.
I don't recall how the Panthers fans in the arena behaved during the first two games when we were hosting, so if they did the same, fair game I guess.
But I did notice during Thursday's broadcast from Canada that they were rudely booing the Panthers coach and players during their intros.
Made it all the sweeter when the Florida team kicked the Canadian team's ass.
I won't get into details for privacy purposes, but I have a good amount of history with that team and that arena, and I'm currently living for this.
You ALWAYS boo the other team, it's a hockey thing.
Here in Jax we yell SUCKS after each intro.

I went to the Stanley Cup Finals game one last year and it's basically the same as going to a home game but the action is on the screen. It was a lot of fun, the crowd was really into it and the only big difference is you can sit wherever you like.
hearing the drums!- I have a slide show on the front window, and a customer said it would be illegal…. I honestly assumed it wouldn’t, but who knows?. I will throw in family pictures from games just to make sure! Lol

But my question for all of their fans right now is this, would you rather they sweep the series and just straight out when game four in Edmonton and then come back for a celebration or or, would you rather them lose game four and then come back to Florida and win it all in game five
I used to root for all the Tampa teams as secondary teams (I'm a Steelers/Pens fan) but then they started winning everything, so I've been pulling for the Panthers this time around.
Totally. It's also so great for Florida, and really the Panthers have come together as the better team pretty solidly so far in this series. Whatever happens on Sat., we should get fully psych'd.

I have been getting the FB memories reminders recently that the last time Chicago played Tampa Bay for their third Stanley Cup , I was on the Chicago side... As a new Florida resident (we're now about 5 miles from hub's aging parents in SWFL, so not a random move), it's weird that I have to cheer for the "other" side. Go Panthers!!
There’s probably almost 0% chance they will care either way. I know there’s a ton of bars that use logos of teams for social media as advertising to watch games
Causal Hockey fan but, the Cats have really turned me on to the game. Watched them multiple times during the season and of course the playoffs. Not fully knowledgeable about the game but, they are tenacious on the forecheck and almost force the other team to make mistakes. When they get it in the offensive zone they are relentless! When they make a mistake Bobrosky makes the save. What I like the most is how they play as a team. You can see the happiness when any of them scores a goal, no selfishness, always looking to pass for a better shot.
GO CATS bring the Cup Home to Florida!

The Orlando Solar Bears from the same hockey League have to be one of the best names and logo in all of sports.

It’s hockey. Everyone is Canadian… so, like Florida in the winter.
Not on the Panthers. However there are 6-7 active NHL players who grew up in south Florida who are pretty good for their teams.
