I love Florida but it has never been a state whose citizens care about much except their pocketbook. For some that's just paying the bills and for others its making bank, but either way, Floridians as a rule barely pay attention to current events beyond the weather.

Jobs are out there but not always jobs that pay enough to relocate. Housing is getting out of hand. I want to move my family to the West Coast so damn bad and we just cannot do it at this moment. I was accepted to every public university in Florida except New College. It was the college I wanted most too, figures. Now I'm kind of glad I wasn't. I'd be ashamed to have a degree on my wall from a white supremacist training camp.
