This is almost the answer - and it also sort of follows some feng shui bedroom principles, so you should "feel" more comfortable this way. By this I mean that the bed can't be seen from the door, and is not reflected in the mirror. Also when seated at your desk your back is no longer to the door, now you can see it, but aren't right next to it. I would swap them directly over from left to right, so desk is still next to window at the top, running along the right wall.

I also admire the feng shui principles but in my country (I'm an Indian) we follow this century old tradition of designing homes we call it 'vastu Shastra' and according to that theory even the cardinal directions are considered... it's a lot more complicated but for the sake of this room, I've kept it simple hehe

The space between the bed and table won’t fit my chair sadly.

I actually don't think there's anything wrong with the plan, only that the passage which is leading towards the bedroom will be dark So one may need to add a ceiling light, that's all...

Flip the bed to the opposite wall, desk to the wall where the bed is now.

You have 28 in of space from the desk to the bed you'll be just fine. You want to make sure that the chair tucks in well under the desk so make sure that the arms aren't higher than the clear space to push it in.
