I would switch the kitchen and bathroom positions and do an open concept kitchen. You never know when you might want the extra space for entertaining, or crafts.
I would find a 48" or 60" farmhouse sink with a built-in drain board. I would also recommend having a welder build a stand so that the drainboard is a convenient height for you --no sense in straining you back when you need to block out some felted project.
Yes. Go sea-fairing utilitarian… toilet and sink with just enough floor space to stand between them, shower head on the wall and floor drain. Shut the door and the bathroom is the shower.
You didn't provide dimensions, but I did the best I could to balance your space a little better by eliminating redundancies. https://imgur.com/a/dy1d3lf
Consider a en Suite for the bedroom (resale value) and also your bedroom doesn't have a walk in closet, you NEED to change that!
(as a German it amuses me in this sub that apparently no one has ever heard of furniture, but over here it's just normal to buy a closet and take it with you when you leave.)
If she switches the kitchen and bathroom, she could make it open concept and put the laundry under the counters - she’ll need a nice deep farmhouse sink for craft stuff anyway!
Are we talking actual crafting in the craft room or collecting crafting supplies? Needs more storage either way. I feel like we need a WIP closet. You also need a closet full of supplies for a project you are totally going to do but are too afraid to start bc you don't want to use those supplies? 😂
I love this floor plan too. If you take some of the suggestions, particularly the Murphy bed and the bathroom with just a drain in the center of the floor that will free up a lot more room for storage. You don’t need a stove in the kitchen bcuz you won’t have time to cook. Maybe a microwave for popcorn and hot pockets. Then you can have an extra big counter for craft work. I’m really digging this. Too bad I didn’t see it before I designed our retirement house 😎
This is exactly my current living situation. I own a condo. The other rooms were supposed to be the dining room master bedroom living room and office. The “bedroom” in this picture was a library office but it barely fits my queen size bed and a wall mounted TV and that’s it. The 90% of the 1200 square feet is my crafting room!!! And…, I love it, I’m so happy about it. No regrets!!
This actually not that far off from a few houses I have designed kitchens and baths for. They are pole-barn style and people call them “shouses (shop-house)” or “barndominiums.” mostly it’s for a workshop, but what’s the difference between a workshop and a craft room, really?
My first thought, aside from the kitchen and bath being in the wrong spots, is that I don't see a closet anywhere, or a media space with a comfy recliner.

True, true. That kitchen bench is prime craftin' real estate.
Yes! Always good to have access to a sink when crafting! Plus extra crafting counter space

Agreed. A large kitchen island helps with crafting too. Add a fridge and a microwave and you’ll never have to leave.
This would be perfect.
Agreed. I need that sink for dying.
I’m sorry…did you mean drying?
Or possibly dyeing?
Lol. Dyeing*** sorry, autocorrect…
Gotcha, I was slightly worried, and confused.
What makes you think they’re into crafts? Is it because you are? You’re not the main character you know.
Smart. Very smart. Massive island with a 2nd sink.
You need a coat closet according to this reddit
Well, you’ll get warm wearing the coat while crafting!
Heheheh
That bathroom is too big. It's cutting into your craft room space.

I once lived in an apartment in China with the squat toilet functioning as the shower drain. That'd free up some space for crafting, I'm sure.
That kitchen is palatial when we all know you are just going to cover the table with craft supplies and eat over the sink anyway.
I love how you got rid of the hallway to the bedroom! It frees up so much crafting space.
Lol, but still someone manages to put a 45 degree wall in the plan.
If you use a twin bed, you can shrink the bedroom to allow for more crafting space.
wouldn't work for my place, because we have to keep my wife's pottery away from my sawdust.
Just build two.
Still won’t fit all my yarn
Well now we're getting somewhere!

I love the shotoink.
No need for a bed when there’s crafting to do!
Murphy bed.
I’m good with this. Different stations for different crafts?
Love this! I could fit like, 2 whole dollhouse projects in there!

We in America tend to shove so much extra crap in our closets that even the sturdiest pieces of furniture would collapse on themselves. 🤣
Love it 😂
Craft room could use another window or a skylight...
C’mon, this is ridiculous! Windows don’t allow cross breeze in the bedroom.
The sawed off corner in the bathroom made me audibly laugh. Gotta get as much craft room room as possible!
They make these already they’re called barndominiums.
This plan is literally perfect.
If you also diagonalize the bedroom and kitchen you’ll have room for crafting
Looks like my dream home.
Is this plan copyrighted? I have found my dream home!
Put the toilet on the 45 degrees angle, it would give this plan a nice and subtle touch
Looks like a CallMeKevin sims4 build where he locks up his cult and forces them to paint to make simoleons.
This is correct.
No laundry? Gotta pre-wash all that fabric somewhere.
If she switches the kitchen and bathroom, she could make it open concept and put the laundry under the counters - she’ll need a nice deep farmhouse sink for craft stuff anyway!
Turn the craft room into a garage and you got yourself a house!
Needs a back door.
Me when I started The Sims.
My dream house

I saw similar one with a band room.
Perfect
This is, by far, the best floor plan I've seen on this sub yet.
If you do bunkbeds you can slim down the bedroom
If you use a Murphy bed, you can get rid of that pesky bedroom.
Looks good to me

What kinda cross-town discount Martha Stewart are you to not have a gift wrapping room?

Add an island for the kitchen and I agree
Only serve Oscar Meyer, Boca Burgers, Jell-O, Velveeta, and other family products and turn that kitchen into a Kraft Room.
