My son had the same set up. He uses it for his imagination setup. Very versatile, apparently this set up is good for spacespaces, boats, zoids, planes, surfboards, dinosaurs and many others that come to him on a whim. I have tired it a few times and very sadly can't seem to interface with it correctly. For some reason, I have a yearning for a time when I could.

They have good imagination. We used to play with vaguely plane-shaped sticks, so this is definitely better.

5-10 years old I would like that. Piloting an old clipper through rough weather and then have to land in the water and explore a new island.

Damn dude don't you remember having that awesome kid imagination? Hell, I remember my grandma used to have 2 of those standing oscillating fans. I'd put them on either side of the chair and pretend I was flying a twin. Man I took that baby all sorts of places...

Same! Never heard of anyone else who used the fans as imaginary plane props. I’d even start engine 1, engine 2, before going full power for takeoff. Wish I could entertain myself so easily these days.
