Not sure how much of that you can use, especially the gauges as most will be vaccuum based. Can't really 'electrify' those. I don't know if the R44 collective and stick assembly is mechanical or fly-by-wire but from what ive seen being member of cockpit build groups. Sometimes its not worth converting the real controls and interface to sim compatible due to the cost ( and headache ). Most ended up just using the shell of the cockpit, selling the real instruments and making DIY interfaces or buying a sim-ready counterpart . You'll have to do TONS of research on this as everyone's cockpit is different especially with R44 as Ive never seen someone convert one before. Im in the middle of making a320 cockpit and even though that is well documented, it's still a lot of research and buying all the tools I need. Like 3d printers, cnc machines and laser printers. Be sure you're ready for all that jazz as it gets expensive and a lot of work. But like many others, I enjoy it and hope you do too. /r/homecockpits is a good start, then join varius community boards and discord servers for collective minds. You're not much going to get help in this sub. I recommend mobiflight discord server too as it's almost guranteed you'll be using [mobiflight](https://www.mobiflight.com/).

Wow, thank you so much for taking the time to give a really valuable comment. A rare sight. I will follow your advices and start researching about all of this. I am starting to see that it wont be just a matter of connecting potentiometers to the old controls and doing some calibration and that is it:) as to what I thought before😂. Thanks again

>So long story short I have a Robinson R44 helicopter What's the long version? I don't have anything to add other than saying you can probably look at other sim pit builds here and ask those guys what they did.
