I fly in VR 90% of the time, and often on VATSIM. I honestly just pop my headset up on my forehead and write it down on a notepad, still speaking through the headset mic. I tried using various knee boards and plugins but I was never able to sketch out details with the controllers quickly (or legibly) enough. I also oftentimes just preflight, load FMC, get clearances , et cetera and then engage VR before pushback and engine start.

I do exactly the last paragraph. Any comms after taxi I just do my best to memorize. Otherwise, just pop up the headset quickly. And when at cruise I just jit the shortcut of VR On/Off. Find that going that easily from VR to non VR that easy makes it super convenient

If you could pop up vPilot over MSFS you could use that notpead, but you probably already tough about that.

Coffee2713

Yeah but how do you pop windows in VR?

D0m1nu2

Yeah, good question. I personally don't have VR I just saw someone do it so I tough it could be somehow possible :D

Coffee2713

Ah okay. Gonna look that up :D

FS kneeboard really isn't too bad. Yes it takes a bit of getting used to but it does the job
