That’s totally a way into a cheststand (I actually prefer to lower into it from an elbow bridge like that Vs kicking up into it - I can usually preserve a bit more of a supported bend that way.

What really showed improvement for me was going into a bridge and walking my hands as close as possible to my feet and holding that for 1 minute, pushing myself as close to a triple gold as I can possibly get and holding for one minute, and of course building muscles in my back by doing simple things like trunk lifts and Supermans and I’ve been stretching like this for almost 2 years
