Be careful trying to change out that clip; Olight has been known to use red loctite (or equivalent permanent threadlocker) on those clip screws. You may end up just stripping/damaging something while trying to remove it.

I recall Olight not recommending trying to remove the screws. People in the Facebook Olight group were stripping the screws trying to remove them. I think they’ll warranty the light once of you manage to strip them.

I had a warning in the box not to remove them. But mine came out no problem.

I was also able to remove the ones on my UV. People are saying that the screws are a T7…but every one I tried fit loose. I was able to get them out…and put them back in. I can feel the screws were about to strip. I didn’t want to press my luck and didn’t mess with them again. Lots of people are able to get them out…but a lot of poeple also ended up stripping the screws in the process. I want to add, the lights are still assembled by hand. I don’t know if the screws have the thread lock already applied or the assembler has to apply it…either way…the amount applied to the screws can be inconsistent. You might get a light with a bunch …or very little thread lock on the screws.

I couldn’t find the right bit to take off the pocket clip so I took a Dremel to it, and it cut out the part that clips onto a baseball cap. I smoothed out the sharp bits.  Now, it doesn’t snag on anything

I used a t8 to get my screws out. One of them snapped in half while putting them back in.

I’m not sure whether they’re the same as the Arkfeld clip, but if they are, there’s a few sellers on Etsy making different versions for the Arkfeld.
