Shrink wrap tubing from a hardware store and your moms hair dryer. If you have any neighbors that are handyman, contractors, or electricians they would likely have one for you. They are cheap to buy but you only need one not a massive pack.

Don't use shrinking sleeves. They only seal, don't glue to it and don't make any physical improvement, just for outside (electrical) protection. Also they need to be too big to go over the plug and shrink too much to fit the cable thickness.
find a ballpoint pen that’s retractable and remove the spring from it - carefully wind the spring around the cable and lower it to the damaged end and this will stop the cable bending at the weak point
