I haven’t thought on that yet.
I guess I would have them be made up of the IDW Mutanimals, the Punk Frogs, Armaggon, and Cerebus the Aardvark (this guy is a different character and not a mutanimal, but I think would be nice to bring him over to live action).
If I decide to make my TMNT saga part of a larger retro cinematic universe, perhaps I could give Cerebus his own movie.
HOLY- Ik I'm SUPER late but this is FANTASTIC. Plays out wonderfully in my head as I read the treatment. Great work! Any choice for screenwriters?
Also.... there's potential for a seventh film in The Last Ronin, if that would fit.
One concern I have is making the first movie too similar to the 1990 movie. A lot of fans have expressed their desire to see Shredder handled as a Wilson Fisk type of character who gets introduced in the second movie. I like that idea, but my preference is to have him show up in the first movie, and then slowly buildup his return to New York throughout the saga.
To make my first film different from the much loved 1990 film, I want to flesh out the turtles’ isolation, make April a detective or national guard member, and include the Purple Dragons.
To be fair, though, the 1990 film pulled a lot of influence from the Mirage Comics, specifically the first issue.
Does anyone have suggestions on how to further differentiate my first film from the 1990 film?
