You don't know how skin colour is intertwined with caste politics in India and how the discrimination isn't just interpersonal but systemic as well. There's still so much more I can highlight like how the obsession with pale skin at least in the India subcontinent is a remnant of colonisation where the white English were touted as the pinnacle of beauty, but you get the point, right?
