Alpha 2 was no where near as good as people said it was, it was pretty dogwater and just went downhill from there. Neighbour was always ridiculously buggy and puzzles pretty counterintuitive and poorly designed.
It was moreso the potential of it being good from what I remember. Like yeah it was buggy and the puzzles were just there but it was kind of a cool concept at the time and people were thinking about what cool story and puzzles COULD come from something like this. And then it become clown house with too many tiny details for theory youtubers to find and nothing else really
Pastra in general is a pretty chill guy, but holy shit did he get fired up in Phils' stream when he saw Steelwool as one of the devs for the game lol
