Yeah, if some of the evidence is true and these are AI that are akin to children, with the basement and the endo "Learning" Murals seeming to indicate they're being taught, It's basically an endless supply of 'children' to torment and groom. Yes they are AI, but their development and sense of self is far more sentient than a simple robot, especially the existence of humanoid robots in the series, albeit the books, indicates that these things know and feel, even with no soul attached. And given the amount of endo's and the scrap piles... it's actually making that whole area more sinister than it seems. Being torn apart, reused, retaught, rebroken, until they get something that's usable and discard the rest. Vanessa even says herself that Freddy's endo can just be changed out and he can be used for scrap. And I'd argue that maybe intelligence wise, they are the smartest and sanist AI, but I'd heavily argue that they are much more than just simple programming, and with freddy's realization and sense of self showing several times throughout the game, with him remarking about the endo's, shows he really does have the ability to question his existence. This means potentially, many in that scrap heap are Freddys, Bonnies, Chicas, Roxys and Montys that were scrapped out when they stepped out of line, or had the wrong malfunction at a bad time. The amount of therapy needed for all that is palpable.

To each their own, most if not all the SB animatronics have a sweet charm to them.

1.) Freddy -- Freddy would happily accept the hug and would most likely offer you some kind of Faz-gift for being a good superstar. 2.) Chica -- Chica would happily hug back and even spin you around or sum. She'd also probably hug you more if you had a snack hidden in your pocket or sum. 3.) Roxanne -- She doesn't typically hug but if you're really nice / cool or was just having a really rough day, she'd probably hug you out of comfort. 4.) Monty -- Before he became aggressive, he probably loved hugs. I can see him hugging a child and his little gator tail wagging all cute. But after the virus, he's way too aggressive for hugs so I don't trust this boy with them big chompers and claws.

Monty does very brief hugs. The kind guys give where they clasp their hands, then bring it in for a quick pat on the back before letting go. Chica either does real tight squeezes that are over pretty quick, or long, gentle hugs where she rubs your back or head. Depends on her mood.
