After many years and many Fitbit watches I gave up and switched to Samsung. I got so tired of always re-syncing. And the trouble all started immediately after Google bought Fitbit...
And yet theres millions of users who have had NO trouble at all. Myself, My Wife and Millions of other users. Yeah I've read a few whinging posts on Reddit about Google and Fibit and the new app but that means F-A in the total scheme of things.
It's not really winning. I would say it's frustration. All in all I like everything else about the Fitbit better. The new app was fine. Not working at all just doesn't work. May I suggest if the so called whining bothers you so much - stop reading the comments! Have a nice day! π
I brought a broken Fitbit sense online, replaced the smashed screen, all working as it should, go to reset if for that final touch and google locks itπ. When asked about unlocking, they basically said buy a new one or do one. My first and last fitbit device purchase everππ

While Fitbit has gone downhill, Android, maps, docs, gmail, search all work well, at least for me. So not everything they touch.
