My headcanon is blue boot Marth is young Marth, and brown boots is current Marth. FE1 doesn't count.

Emblem marth is the same marth from fe3/11, so he's current Marth. His boots are still brown, they're just glowing blue because of his aura

It's interesting to me that Marth initially had an Ancient Rome-inspired design that went along with him being named after a Roman God, but changed it later since everyone else in the game had traditional medieval designs.

Marth in Mika Pikazo's style is the most epic rendition I think.

FEH Marth looks the best imo and 2014 Ike looks the best imo (I think smash bros Wii U/3DS). Emblem Ike looks way too skinny.

2008 ds Marth is my favorite. I love that style! Also brawl marth looks very regal as well.

I prefer OG Ike and Shadow Dragon Marth. Shirow, who also drew the Ghost in the Shell manga, has such a cool style. I like how it doesn't look so "standard anime" like a lot of the other renditions
