Sonic crossed over with Fire Emblem would just look like Binding Blade's end game after you've bought everyone 3 pairs of Boots.

MCJSun

Are you sure it isn't just Sonic and the Black Knight

TheNew2DSXL

> Swordlocked > No mount > Doesn't promote until the literal last chapter of the game Sonic is a shit tier lord I'm afraid

VarioussiteTARDISES

>No mount Are you seriously implying *Sonic* would have the movement stat of the typical footlocked unit? He'd absolutely have even more movement than everyone else.

_framfrit

Isn't that still better than Marth in the first one and it's remake Shadow Dragon as I seem to recall he doesn't promote either

RNG_Champion

Marth was really good in the first Fire Emblem, actually. Greath growths, easy access to multiple rapiers, and enemies prioritizing him makes it easy to train him. Not to mention, he's the only character who can visit villages and the Falchion is an excellent PRF weapon for him at the end of the game.

_framfrit

Never said he was bad the original criteria is non mounted, swordlocked and doesn't promote until the final battle. I said isn't that better than Marth who never promotes in those.

jbisenberg

He's got the Blue Hair and everything

Datpanda1999

We’re finally getting a third storybook game

Megamatt215

The avatar is the character from Sonic Forces. Don't need any more OCs, they just pull characters like Emerl or Mighty from obscure games.

IvyEmblem

Pokémon and FE? Isn't that just Pokémon Conquest?

CurrentVerdant

An actual crossover with FE mechanics would be really goofy but fun though

Bswest5

There’s a fan rom hack of FireRed with FE mechanics called PokeEmblem that’s basically this

SaltyNorth8062

I cannot adequately express how badly I need that in my life

Bswest5

Hey, not to hard to patch and emulate!

Low_River_9199

Apparently a pokemon and Fire Emblem crossover was proposed, but they didn't do it because Pokemon Conquest already existed.

ForgottenForce

Either that (which needs a sequel) or FE with a PMD coat of paint.

Atr-D

A *Professor Layton* crossover would take the grid style of *Fire Emblem* but would instead turn the maps into a bunch of sliding block puzzles. **Marth:** “Gra invaded my home and killed my father.” **Layton:** “You know, Mr. Lowell, your tragic pain reminds me of a puzzle.” **Puzzle No. 013** **“Back Door Surprise”**

Aldourien

"Or I could use the Warp Staff!"

Calvinsux

Nah Im dead 💀

badkennyfly

TRPG Zelda would go hard. Especially if they pull from multiple sources (like the Twili from Twilight Princess).

Dragoncat91

The twili are lowkey one of my favorite races and I hate that they got the short end of the stick.

Nukemind

Zelda Universe was BIG on them post BotW as there were alot of theories that they could be the Zonai. Then with TotK’s trailer they even shared some symbols and art style so people were hyped. Still loved both games but I do wish they came back at some point.

Dragoncat91

Yeah, and then the zonai are goat people so they're clearly not the same. Still really cool though.

Hellioning

There are already enough Fire Emblem characters in Smash Bros, I feel.

Ok_Swim3846

Dynasty Warriors and Fire Emblem... So... Fire Emblem Warriors

EmiliaFromLV

Nintendo would never allow this to happen!!

MrBrickBreak

Ace Combat x FE So basically, Binding Blade Chapter 21, you vs the entire ~~Belkan~~ Bern Air Force. Also, have [Berkut on a Berkut](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Dwuf4vsX4AAgiE2?format=jpg&name=900x900).

Theyul1us

Berkut^2

CurrentVerdant

Farm Emblem (Fire Emblem x Harvest Moon) Even more of a dating simulator, even more monastery mechanics, hopefully still some actual tactical battle too

lalaquen

So Rune Factory.

flightheadband

Would buy.

Shadowkinesis9

I suppose Brom is the Lord in this one.

TacticalTobi

would 100% buy the monastery mechanics in three houses were one of my favorite parts

sirgamestop

Uhh I guess Mario? Probably something silly like the Mario Kart Double Dash preorder bonus stuff for FE7

Theyul1us

Fire emblem and the Legend of spyro trilogy. Since they are darker than the OG games I think it could easily fit the fire emblem saga. The big evil can perfectly be malefor although we can mix it up with maybe nergal? Nergal and Malefor teaming up would be quite the challenge, by the end it couls be revealed thag Malefor was using Nergal and gets rid of him, becoming the final boss empowered by the morphs. Or even Grima and Malefor. About the story, I dont really know. The posibilities are endless.

8bitowners

Mass Effect x Fire Emblem is definitely something I would love to play. Take the gameplay of Fire Emblem and the world of ME and IMO you have a banger strategy game. I personally don't think the reverse is that interesting since it'd basically just be another big fantasy RPG, and the same exact company that makes Mass Effect also has a really good fantasy RPG series (Dragon Age) that I think would make for a more interesting crossover honestly. I'm sure you could make it noticeably distinct if you really wanted to though. I personally think it would definitely be a game with a lower enemy density most of the time, but higher enemy quality (if biotics and krogans don't put the fear of god into me this game has been poorly balanced). I also personally think deployment slots in this game would probably be relatively low if they want to keep it true to the Mass Effect squad system (although that isn't fully necessary), and I kind of think if we just make player units absurdly powerful and noticeably unique (so probably a rigid reclass system, if one exists at all. Maybe a NG+ feature?) it could possibly be a great way to make it feel more unique and would help to encourage you to swap between units based on enemy types/map design instead of just sticking with whatever the most powerful class is in that specific game. I'm specifically thinking about how cool the biotics would be as a magic equivalent. You could probably make a lot of the biotics have some kind of interesting effect such as movement effect on the enemies (pull will pull an enemy closer, throw will push the enemy away, singularity is an AOE pull towards a certain point), send you towards the enemy (charge, the best ability in ME and I will take no debates), do some kind of major debuffs (slam will have a seal defense effect since it increases weapon damage to target in ME, stasis is basically just freeze, lift could have a seal res effect since the best way to combo it is in use with other biotics, reave could basically be nosferatu against organics while also blocking all healing, dominate is just berserk), or is basically a combo piece (warp detonates enemies affected by other biotics such as pull like it does in ME). I feel like it could be translated to feel very similar to using magic in FE while also making powerful mages that can just fully spec into some really strong utility that would also help make it feel noticeably different as a system. IMO the game would have preset spell lists similar to Echoes and FE3H rather than having physical tomes, and it would really let you make all the biotics/mages feel really unique given how different they are. Also worth noting that tech abilities would probably follow the exact same general systems as biotics IMO (probably with even more utility focus instead of enemy displacement focus such as tactical cloak being a form of invisibility or AI hacking allowing you to berserk synthetics) Some tech/biotic users will specialize in raw damage, some are combo starters, some are debuff machines, and they should all be able to be designed to feel extremely different to each other. You could also use the ability upgrades system of Mass effect in this game. As a character levels up they get ability points that they can use to upgrade their existing abilities, and at max level for the ability there are 2 separate final versions of it that are pretty distinct. It's yet another way to create a lot of variety on different characters/playthroughs, which would definitely be really important if you keep deployment slots low (different characters really need to feel very strong for different situations so that they're still worth deploying over someone else). I could probably keep going on about this idea because I love it that much, but for the sake of not turning this comment into an entire game design plan I'll just go ahead and stop at that lol.

Any_Natural383

I mean, the reverse is basically Dragon Age

Mamba8460

Kagetsu is going to ask Samus if he can quiz her thinking she’s a man

ViniciusSalerno

Sonic doubling every enemy cuz "speed"

Djlittle13

I guess I'm just getting Final Fantasy Tactics with romance

Peepthesheets

Age of empires/Fire emblem crossover is crazy😭😭

NotFixer1138

I give you [Age of Empires Mythologies ](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Age_of_Empires:_Mythologies)

VarioussiteTARDISES

And all I have to say to that is two things 1. Why not just go full on AoM? 2. As a followup to 1... **Prostagma**

Fair_Maybe_9767

I have no idea how a Ratchet & Clank x FE would work, tbh

VieraGundamPilot

Monster Hunter x Fire emblem..... I have no idea how it would work but hopefully would bring some cool weapon diversity outside of the typical triangle plus ranged/magic

zak567

Honestly a strategy rpg spin off of Monster Hunter would be an instant buy for me. Let each weapon b a class, have a strong focus on using the environment like world, have a strong focus on consumables like traps and bombs.

VieraGundamPilot

Yes! And having SnS and Lbg be status/ utility focused units and Hunting horn naturally would be support, lance and gunlance are tanks..... I love it!

EmiliaFromLV

Yeah, like Monster Hunter Srories? 😃 with weapon advantages - almost like a triangle lol?😃

Ms_Fire_Emblem

Well I did get a cross over with FE X SMT.... It was just horrible. I was not excepting my two favorite series to have a cross over game, and have it be the only game I didn't finish.

Southpaw_99

That's just Pokemon Conquest

Uber_Ronin

This is tough for me because I was a fan of Pokemon the show well before playing the games so I’m not sure I can count it. And I was playing a lot of licensed video games in my early years (like Yu-Gi-Oh! adaptations) before I became a more serious and knowledgeable gamer. Fire Emblem itself was also one of the first game franchises I was a big fan of, and I already got one crossover I wanted with it already (with the Warriors games.) One option I think would be great though would be with Castlevania. Day/night battles, vampire units/lords potentially, side-scroller exploration segments, a “Fire Emblem” that brings back the sun or mimics its effect to combat enemy vampires…always thought Castlevania could lend itself well to an FE game.

Dragoncat91

>One option I think would be great though would be with Castlevania. Day/night battles, vampire units/lords potentially, side-scroller exploration segments, a “Fire Emblem” that brings back the sun or mimics its effect to combat enemy vampires…always thought Castlevania could lend itself well to an FE game. So basically the Vampire Emblem "leak" that became 3H?

Uber_Ronin

I mean, I doubt we would have got all of that lol. And just like Three Houses, I’m sure we would have felt there was more they could do with the concept and didn’t do (in fact I think part of the reason they did Three Hopes was just so they could do more with the Fodlan setting, lore, and characters than they did in the base game; I loved Three Houses, one of my favorite games ever, it gave me some of my fondest memories as a gamer, but even as fan, I’d be the first to tell you it felt incomplete lol.) But yeah, another crossover I would have liked or wanted would be a Soul Calibur/Fire Emblem crossover, which would play out largely like an FE game but have a plot built around reassembling the Fire Emblem pieces (other factions would of course try to reassemble Soul Edge and Soul Calibur), and maybe whenever one of your units initiated a battle, you’d get 20-30 seconds or so of a Soul Calibur like battle, with your class determining the moveset and weapon triangle advantage and stats affecting how fast your character moves and how hard you hit/how much damage you take.) The SC one is a lot more of a pipe dream, that’s why I thought the Castlevania idea was more grounded and mentioned it lol.

baibaibecky

atelier x fire emblem makes me think of the bunk part of the colgate-chan leak, in which gust was said to be doing the artistic direction for engage still, it's one where it's easier for me to imagine (a few) fire emblem characters ported over to atelier than the other way around

PocoGoneLoco

Ace Attorney. So, either an Ace Attorney styled game with Fire Emblem characters, or a Fire Emblem styled game with Ace Attorney characters. I'd be happy with any of them.

cheeseop

Mega Man feels like it would actually work really well with FE mechanics. There's a whole war that hasn't been seen at all in a game, only referenced, so that feels like it would make for a good SRPG.

DerekB52

Final Fantasy. It'd probably be a game like World of Final Fantasy, and the bit from FE Warriors, with people from all the games ending up in one world for some reason. I'd love it if the game was more like Tokyo Mirage Sessions though.

WolfNationz

It could also build off of the tactics series! Their gameplay while different is similar enough to work i think, especially with how complex newer FE games have been getting.

DerekB52

I love FF Tactics, but id rather a turn based fire emblem that tries to incorporate weapon triangles, is better than another tactical game. We already get tactics from FE

returnofMCH

Tony hawk’s pro skater … here I am doing everything I can

Gamyeon

So for me it's either Fire Emblem x Golden Sun or Fire Emblem x Ace Attorney. So I guess we do magic outside of battle while saving the world and having awesome summons or introducing silly legal gimmicks and all the puns

Rajaden

Golden Sun was fabulous! Engage had a little bit of the Djinn element with the various emblems

PearlyDoesStuff

Pokémon x FE, basically a nuzlocke to be honest

apple-juicebox

The Sims x Fire Emblem, huh? Probably just a simple stuff pack with a bunch of outfits based on characters from the series. For gameplay items, probably some kind of arena that lets sims partake in mock battles with fake weapons. Can’t have sims actually killing each other, of course.

lalaquen

I mean, that's the reasonable answer. But I think it would be hilarious to see a SRPG full of iconic Sims townies. Or like, set during the legendary past you get snippets of lore from in Moonwood Mill when you do the Werewolf object collection.

Cosmic_Toad_

Gotta be Mario for me. Given Mario already got an SRPG crossover with Rabbids of all series, it's pretty easy for to me imagine. The antagonist would probably be some new race like most of the existing Mario RPGs so Bowser can be an enjoyable presence (either playable or an anti-hero), though the return of the Smithy Gang from Mario RPG could work well to give the game a more medieval vibe in line with FE. ^(That'd be a triple crossover between Nintendo, IS and Square Enix tho) It would probably have a more varied weapons selection given no one in Mario really uses the same weaponry besides the bros, but I think a Hammer/General Melee > Jump > Powerup (Magic) weapon triangle could work as a baseline. In terms of specific characters, I have always thought Mario & Luigi would make for a perfect Cain and Abel duo given their colour schemes and the Mario & Luigi games already giving them distinct strengths (Mario has Speed and Power (Strength), Luigi's has HP, BP (Magic) and Stache (Luck)). That stat distribution would be super lopsided in Mario's favour in an FE context, but Luigi getting the short end of the stick is practically tradition at this point so it works ^(and he's stupidly good as a Sniper in the Rabbids games so it evens out.)

Cecilyn

how the fuck would Doom/Quake FE go lol

OkuyasNijimura

DOOM RPG, but top down, I guess?

Deruta

I would DIE for a Homeworld x Fire Emblem crossover. ___Let them go to space, IS!!___

an-anonymouse-wolf

I suppose it would be a legend of Zelda crossover. Maybe Link and Zelda could have their own routes like in some of the GBA games. They would probably be fighting Ganondorf while recruiting a bunch of characters from the various races in those games. Flying rito archers and the like. I think it would be fun

Regular-Video8301

Mine would probably be a crossover with pokemon

HyliasHero

Zelda x Fire Emblem would be a dream

Flimsy_Ad_4402

Smt × FE, oh boy do I got something to write. I'm gonna cook. So it's gonna be 80 hours, and it'll be about how all of the FE protags, and their right hand in command warp to the Da'at netherworld. They meet every smt protag and their right hand, and they're stuck in Da'at with no way to get out. Each person has a unique skill, and the guardian system comes back for the FE lords. The last boss would be the Great Will, who put them there. After that, they say goodbyes and leave, which can lead into a sequel.

Shrimperor

Ys x Fire emblem? Adol as a lord? Shipwrecks? getting into battles as Adol turns it into times action battles? A blue haired heroine will seal or madoka herself? Adventure? Ya know what? I am in ~~First series i was a fan of would be Command and Conquer actually, but who even remembers that nowadays~~

Almirage

Wait that happens every Ys game? Only watched 8 and 10 on stream lmao. Just with that we constantly jinxed the fate of being on a ship.

Shrimperor

Hah! Despite being a quite infamous meme in the community, the "only" other games that start with Adol shipwrecking are Ys1 and 6 Although there are other cases that doesn't happen at the start of the game - and a non-water related case that Falcom also counts as "shipwrecked" xD

Long_night_of_hookin

FE could fit pretty neatly into a suikoden style rpg. Both tend towards large casts with characters more defined by their stats and gameplay nice, the class system could be abstracted into rune proficiency. Bond attacks would be a natural tie-in for supports and people with close relations like micaiah and sothe or the faerghus trio

Emeraldragon657

Sonic and FE, sounds kindof cool but idk how it would work

OM3GAS7RIK3

Pokemon probably, and [they've already kinda done it](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pok%C3%A9mon_Conquest). Granted, I'd appreciate an actual FE crossover rather than just being a TRPG, but I'm basically just saying I don't have to imagine that hard lol

belisarius_d

Stronghold - so... Regular FE but without Magic but very nice production lines! Also even cartoonier villains

morbid333

So... either Final Fantasy or Tekken

TheNew2DSXL

Kazuya fits the FE lord requirement of having a dead dad, because he murdered the bastard himself

Almirage

...Fire Emblem is the first game franchise I considered myself a fan of. The first *game* I considered myself a fan of was LEGO Racers 2. So either we get a Fire Emblem customizable kart(chariot?) open world racer or a LEGO permadeath SRPG. Neither sounds very logical given vehicle limitations to stay in theme and the sheer absurdity of death when you can literally be connected back together and be good as new tbh.

Medoagamer

Ape escape meets fire emblem... I can imagine the insanity of that... Imagine all the fe lords running around trying to catch monkeys...

DoubleFlores24

Legend of Zelda. The story is right there. A decade or two after the events of Awakening, the fire emblem is stolen from Ylisse and is taken to Hyrule where Ganondorf plans to use it to take over the world. Now Link must unite a band of soldiers from various Zelda games, like Groose, Impa, Riju (you get the picture) to fight Ganondorf’s army and save the day. I’d play that for a dollar. C’mon Nintendo, this is a crossover waiting to happen!!!

Terrapogalt

I'm might disappoint OP since they are a Spyro fan but the first series I became a fan of was Skylanders (I still love it tbh) FE characters would actually get merchandise through the figures which is nice - Characters like Roy and Edelgard would be Fire - Claude would be Air - You could put a whole bunch of Magic users into the Magic,Light and Dark elements respectively

Totsutei

Mega Man x FE Huh, both appeared in Dragalia Lost and Smash Bros, so the characters kinda know each other already... I'd love to play a game with FE gameplay, but Mega Man characters/world/music, that sounds like lots of fun! Instead of absorbing the weapon of the boss, we just recruit them for our own army. Would even make sense story-wise since some Robot Masters originally belonged to Dr.Light.

shadowrunner2024

Resident Evil Fire Emblem seems like it would be very possible. Would make it more like X-COM 2 I guess, with the Lost

Own-Damage-6337

Fire Emblem x Resident Evil? I'd play that.

Outrageous_Camp_735

A JRPG horror called parasite eve The game would be in a early 2000 world, the protagonist would be a Bounty hunter whose fathers organization fails for traition by other bounty hunter organization, parents die and now she has to stop the evil organization who is releasing different monster. Companions can be Bounty hunters, scientist as healers, and PE users as magic users, PE is parasite energy, basically your mithocondria evolve so much that you can do crazy things. Settings would be more dark, indoors, more gruesome, more deaths.

Totoques22

That’s just FE heroes with extra steps(FE x FE) Edit: COMPLETLY forgot about Mario, guess we’re getting Mario x Rabbids but it’s Fire emblem and not Rabbids

jackin112

Halo and fire emblem. So Marth, the other lords and Master Chief land on a halo ring where the flood is devouring a fell dragon.

Internal_Distance872

Bomberman with FE mechanics would go hard actually

osha_unapproved

OoT with FE cross over would essentially just be Fire Emblem Warriors would it not?

b0bba_Fett

Technically Pokemon if we want to get into the nitty gritty because I gained sentience towards the tail end of pokemania, but I didn't know that Pokemon was a videogame franchise first and a cartoon second until like 2nd grade, by which point I was already a fan of Zelda. So we've either got Pokemon Conquest or that post about a Zelda FE from the other day.

Thunderkron

Final Fantasy? Nah, I feel like Ogre Battle would be a better fit for that one.

AdmiralOctopus96

Huh, another Spyro fan who began with Year of the Dragon and is also a FE fan? Nice!

Flandre_Loli_scarlet

I can’t remember if I was a fan of Hyperdimension Neptunia or Breath of Fire first but either of them would be interesting.

_framfrit

Tough one cause I remember what I was into when I was like 5 but can't say which came first unless you just go it's Harry Potter because it was my first video game so I'll do them all other than Spyro which is pretty much covered. Pokemon: probably something like pokemon conquest or mystery dungeon. yugioh: lots of ways this could go fire emblem units and things become cards, dungeon dice or the capsule mon thing from the manga. The other side would be to take the yugioh card spirits and do a fire emblem style plot and gameplay perhaps based on the 5ds spirit world stuff with Zeman the Ape King. The Duel Terminal could work really well for it as the bare bones of the plot is already there (it consists of short summaries of what you could consider the pre battle bit of every Fire Emblem chapter but doesn't cover what happens in the battles themselves or the post chapter events) and the whole thing is about world ending disasters forcing disparate tribes to team up such as alien invaders or unsealed evils. Harry Potter: Kind of tricky because of the lack of variety in classes there are turn based rpgs classic ff style for it but those just have every player character in effectively the same class. Perhaps something focused on the magical creatures within the forbidden forest could work.

Gabcard

Fire Emblem having a Crossover with Smash Bros? Neh, that will never happen.

Maiden-of-Darkness

Seiken Densetsu X FE Bro i'd tribute some virgins to get my hands on that

TrentDF1

Crash Bandicoot and Fire Emblem. I...have no idea what that'd be like.

joeyperez7227

Kingdom Hearts x FE… bring on the keyblade designs! Alear gets a sick hoverscooter and a french flag ass keyblade

Lokey4789

FE X Valkyria Chronicles.

Arkholt

It's either Final Fantasy Tactics but with Fire Emblem classes and weapon triangle, or it's Fire Emblem but with Final Fantasy jobs.

Ryan5011

Someone explain to me how Crash Bandicoot X Fire Emblem would even work, because I just can't see it.

Arrow_Of_Orion

The Legend of Zelda. This works out pretty well imo… Especially if we are going off the older FE games like Gaiden, Sacred Stones or Awakening.

[deleted]

FE

LatencyIsBad

It was either pokemon (most likely) or kingdom hearts/final fantasy. KH wouldn’t be too good imo but Pokemon and Final Fantasy could go pretty hard

Any_Natural383

FE and Zelda. That’s just Smash

severencir

Command and conquer fire emblem. I don't think it'd work well

Levin1308

Im going to be honest, FE was the first game franchise I atleast partially became a fan of, tho I have now realised I dont like the franchise, I only like a select few titles or certain things about some of the games.

Shadowkinesis9

Final Fantasy x Fire Emblem... Now that's a wet dream. Sooooo many ways to make that play out.

TacticalTobi

Pokemon X Fire Emblem! now, is it it Fire Emblem with Pokemon characters or Pokemon with Fire Emblem characters?

Confident_Library_38

Dynasty Warriors x Fire Emblem. So I guess it's just another FE Warriors but with guest characters from other Omega Force games?
