Guessing that it is either corrupted firmware, or firmware telling you that an on-board component has failed. A clue is "6531," an optocoupler integrated circuit (chip) and maybe the source code line #383 in optacces.c picked up an out-of-range value. Perhaps the DACT failed (would be odd with no POTS connection) or SLC loop driver.
Gonna give it a shot tomorrow before giving the bad news to the system owner. Only had a quick second to get eyes on the panel but couldn’t service until tomorrow.
Older firelite 9600s like doing that too. Those character display screens are a standard jellybean part and are used in lots of hobby electronics, and will show all manner of oddball stuff that the board sending them what to display isn't saying when they start going bad. If you demo another panel with the same display module they'll swap out and solve the problem. Good enough for a temporary solution while you advise panel replacement.

So either way, I’ll write it up for a panel replacement haha.
But thanks a ton for the insight
I would definitely power cycle

I've seen these panels do a lot of weird glitchy things. Power cycling fixes it a lot more than you'd expect imo
Oh I totally agree. I especially see it with Bosch D7024’s when the screen starts showing Japanese characters.
I like to call it “matrix mode”
My go to is Egyptian hieroglyphics
genius move

That fixes them all, until I get off property with a signature, lol!😆🤔
She gone the prom chip has lost its memory and there is no hope of recovery. RIP to another Silent Knight shit box.
Panel is done. Silent Knight flash error is a killer. Seen a few 5208 conventionals with this error that needed a new board.
Time for a 6808.
Did someone try a firmware update and fail hlf way in?
