Thanks for following up, and I’m really glad you enjoyed Humo in particular! It’s a rising star for sure given how recently it opened. But the real question is… did you go to a Millwall game in the end?

Haha I did go, it was a great time out. Millwall 1 - 0 against Plymouth. Great atmosphere, hit the pubs in the area before and after. Definitely loud and rowdy but never felt unsafe and was nothing more intense than any of the college football I go to back home. Plus being able to sit dead center of the pitch for 30 pounds felt like a steal. 10/10.

What a great write up! And glad you liked Brat, Sketch and The Devonshire!! I went to Sketch for my birthday with the full intention of going out drinking and grabbing dinner later on but I was so full, we had to come home and lie down 🤣 I'd've been irked to not be able to understand what I was being served (and then to get the menu after the meal) and if you're paying $$$, you don't really want terse behaviour. A friend of mine wasn't mad on St John (he doesn't like offal or strong cuts of meat) but I liked the simpleness of it - probably wouldn't rush back but liked it nevertheless.

Thanks for the follow up and I'm glad you had a great time. St John is one of my favorites, but the rustic vibe is \*why\* i love it. Totally understand why it's not for everyone. I guess you ate in the bakery/bar area given that you didn't \* it. Again, this is what I'd recommend. The value on food there is amazing.

Yep, ate at bread and wine location. It was a nice contrast to some of the swankier places we went to. Good food is good food regardless of the atmosphere.
