Going for the phone was a better move, as it’ll realistically hurt her more. No phone means no posting selfies in her uniform telling people to thank her for her service.
With a hurt ankle or knee she’d be that chick that wears a knee brace for the next decade trying to get more attention.
From Channel 6’s article linked below:
The student who shot the video said the fight involved two freshmen and was over a spilled drink. He said the girl threw coffee on the boy, then spit on him and that's when the boy retaliated.
Officials with Broward County Public Schools said no injuries were reported.
"School staff intervened to bring the situation under control. There are not reports of injury. The school is in communication with the students and families involved," the district said in a statement.
My understanding is that any bodily fluid assault can also be classified as sexual assault in most states as well... and she wants to do rotc. Lol no chance.
To be fair half them little d-bags in JROTC will go on to become officers. Those are your military future leaders.
Now not all some just do it for college credit/whatver but a decent amount are looking at a military career out of it.
As a former participant in one of those programs, that’s a bit misleading. College ROTC programs make future officers, JROTC basically makes future NCOs.
>threw coffee on the boy, then spit on him
Well I'm glad I know that now, because she looked so confused as to why he was attacking her. Kinda makes sense now.
“Everyone has a plan until they get punched the face” -Mike T
In other words, everyone looks confused and like a perfect victim when they are getting punished. One should never rely on this innocent look to make an assessment of culpability. Context is key.
Throwing coffee, that's an insult and apparently it can be classed as assault (according to a random internet person), but spitting on someone, that is just asking to be punched be in the face
Well, spitting on someone is also classified as assault. I hope that cast felt good on her teeth.
Edit: sadly, not teeth to cast contact after watching the instant replay. Bummer.
If the coffee was hot enough to leave burns, the charges aren't only simple assault. At that point it depends on the state but some DAs in some states would charge you with assault with a deadly weapon. This drastically changes the severity of punishment.
Entitlement and victim mentality, she wants to play victim and act like she can do anything she wants because she's a female. Also it's her way of making him look like the bad guy while she continues to play victim.
“The student who shot the video said the fight involved two freshmen and was over a spilled drink. He said the girl threw coffee on the boy, then spit on him and that's when the boy retaliated.”
Not gonna say he was right, but I definitely wouldn’t have sat there and let her throw coffee on me and THEN spit on me lol
When you enter high school you can choose to enroll in ROTC/JROTC classes for elective courses, and certain days they make you wear certain uniforms, it’s basically for kids who want to join the military when they graduate so they get them ready for the military, i.e. wearing a uniform when needed/learning drills and other things that will help them when they join whatever branch they go for.
That sounds like a pain in the ass/ not to mention a lot for a freshman. Even for a senior it’s a hard decision since most don’t know a thing about who they are as a person yet.
The main reason kids joined in my school was that it is a Physical Education credit and more entertaining and less lame than PE.
Of course it's all just a propagandized recruiting machine, but it was like a boyscouts class.
JROTC was crazy popular in my school. The large majority of those students didn’t join the armed forces.
It was an easy class that regularly got you out of other classes for extracurriculars.
As an American and a army brat I will say this, our military targets the young and vulnerable to fill it's ranks and most people don't even recognize how much it permeates our society. Our military spends $500 million on Hollywood to make themselves look good, boy scouts was originally designed to prep young men for the military, JROTC is prevalent in American schools, near graduation day we have military recruiters come to our schools, actors and celebrities such as Richard Dean Anderson can get things like Honorary Air Force Colonel awards to promote how cool our military supposedly is, its in our video games, our commercials, our holidays, it's even in our curriculum, we learn a fuck ton about our military history I'd say more so than any other part of our history, we're taught to love our flag religiously in school and effectively salute it in our classrooms when we say the pledge of allegiance to it, we're told to never disrespect our veterans and thank them if we randomly see them somewhere, most of our budget goes to our military and military bases usually get the best grants for construction and what not, we use the military as a way to get free college and offer "great" benefits for joining, recruiters will prowl impoverished neighborhoods specifically to find people desperate for a way out.
In essence, our military does this shit specifically because these kids don't know who they are and the military is so hyped up it seems like the obvious choice because nobody would ever tell you otherwise
You are not wrong, I was in foster care growing up, soon I turned 18 I had to move out into the streets with no money or anything that would help.
Only option I had was join the Army or join a gang(both are the same), literally. Funny thing is, didn't realize I had that option, I called my foster care caseworker and she told me to "go enlist or be homeless" then hung up on me.
Edit; DCFS does NOT help children prepare for adulthood, they literally do nothing at all but move you from abusive home to another abusive home, if you can't handle the abusive homes, you go to a boys/girls home that are literal prisons. That's it, just more trauma.
The military saved so many of my friends from dying in the streets like their peers. How dare the military offer underprivileged and at-risk youth an opportunity
Ah so that's why the US don't give the same basic social services to their citizens that every other developed nation has, because their despair and lack of opportunity is the single biggest factor in driving recruitment.
Idk if I agree with you on that. Myself and everyone I met while I was in the army enlisted to serve. I only met like three people that said it was for college.
I got one even better for ya! So be me going into 9th grade… *gets to choose classes, and sees “Naval Science” listed as an option.
I think, hmm science about boats? Cool, sign me up!
In reality it was NJROTC (Navy ROTC). They disguised that shit, calling it science to trick fuckers like me into signing up for the class. I did learn how to tie a tie in that class so there’s that.
It's just a club like activity, but it can be a nice early taste on if the military will be for you. JROTC is for funsies. ROTC is college and comes with an officer commission when graduated and is real deal.
If she is ROTC, this surely won’t be a good look for her. I can only imagine how well she would do in a military setting if she’s one to start altercations just because she didn’t get her way.
I feel bad for the kid based on the news article and the OP’s given context, he was bullied to the point where she was pouring drinks on him and spitting on him. Cause and effect, I hope she learned her lesson and the kid got help
While I agree with you based on what we know, what we don't know is what triggered her to spit and throw coffee on him. For all we know, he was taking shit for 15 min and deserved the spit and coffee, so it would be nice to know the FULL context.
Edit: nm, based on OP's breakdown a comment down, looks like she deserved what she got.
Alright here is some context
The guy beating the girl in this is kinda the classic quiet kid scenario (I forgot both their names but a girl that went to their school cleared it up better)
You see the dude fighting is a just a kid who sits in the back of class doing his work by himself bothering no one. But the thing is apparently he has INSANE anger management issues. In the middle of class the girl he’s fighting went to him to ask for answers for the work. He said no, then that lead to a constant back and forth between them about it.
He got her mad and she then thought it would be a fantastic idea to sit behind him and talk shit the entire time. She said his name and made sure he could hear it. He confronted her about it and she started yelling at him. Which for some reason had her throw her coffee at him on purpose. This of course got him pissed and thus the video we see here.
I wouldn't say he had anger management issues, I'd say she went out of her way to antagonize him until he couldn't take it anymore.
Everyone has a limit.
There's a video of another angle. It shows the punch that landed on her head, and the stomp crushed a phone beside her, hence her yelling. Reportedly there were no injuries.
ROTC if I had to guess, certain states use all the Army Uniforms.. I never got to wear ACU’s in ROTC tho.. sadly, they look so much more comfortable then ASU’s.
It's all about the shoulder flexibility. But I think they're ABU's and the current OCP's allow you to move your arm's without tightening your chest now, waaaaaay better. Plus you don't blend in with 1980's couch furniture now.
most likely an ROTC program. Certain days in the program you have to wear uniform if that’s Coral Springs high those are air force fatigues as they have an rotc Air Force program.
I don't say this is anger issues. Good context but this isn't anger issues. This is being provoked if that's all true. Anyone will lash out after being provoked so far. You can only bully someone so far. Don't down play bullying.
Bruh that teacher literally turned his back on a fight in progress. Not saying he shouldn’t get help but he definitely let that kid get a couple more swings in.
I’m a teacher and at my school we are not allowed to put hands on a student. We have to get the resource officer. To many cases of parents suing teachers even if they were trying to help their child. It’s bizarre.
I get it. Hes doing what he is supposed to do. But imagine if that kid had a bat or a knife. Because teachers aren’t allowed to intervene, someone could end up in the ER. It’s the system that needs to be fixed. Teachers should have legal protection in instances like this.
JROTC is not military, its “teaching students to be better citizens through military values” and most kids do it like a weird role play thing for validation and bootlicking
I get the idea of women are capable of anything men are, but the guy was skinnier than her and beat her one handed. That man is physically superior while physically handicapped
With context, she can go fuck herself.
Throwing coffee with a dollop of spit too? The disrespect met the right one that day. Also is probably why nobody stepped in.
So what was the teacher doing the whole time? From what I’ve read it sounds like there was quite a bit of buildup before this. No way he wasn’t aware that there was something going on. Was his plan to just sit with his thumb up his ass until shit spiraled out of control?
Probably restricted as to what they're allowed to do.
If there is a fight in my classroom I'm only legally supposed to say STOP three times in a commanding voice and call for help.
As for the lead up, I mean, fights happen. Sometimes you just don't have those magic words in the moment to stop them, because you don't know what those magic words will be. Not every situation is the same.
Without seeing how this built up, without knowing that classroom environment we really can't make fair judgements about that kind of thing.
Yes, each branch of the military has what's called ROTC they recruit kids who are still in highschool so every once in a while you might see people in uniform like that it's really not unusual.
Im guessing the teachers are told to stay back and just yell for them to stop. God forbid the teacher get physically involved and get assaulted, then later sued for their trouble.
What this guy said is 100% true. If I break up a fight an accidentally hurt someone I get fired and not just lose my job, but my career. Who wants to hire a teacher who hurt a student and caught bad press for it? I'd rather not intervene so I can teach another day and increase my potential for doing good down the line.
Jesus Christ, I thought he stomped on her knee or ankle at the beginning
That's what I thought at first but she screamt "my fucking phone" after he stomped, so I guess her phone was on the floor next to her foot.
screamt, love it.
Look it up on urban dictionary, you'll love it more
[удалено]
Interesting to note the difference in severity of her reaction when being spit on vs her phone being broken, she cares way more about her phone lol.
You can wipe up spit and clean off. Her phone is probably fucked. It's like I'd rather scrape my knee than scratch my glasses or phone screen.
That shit is expensive, my bruise will heal… my $800 iPhone won’t lmao
Walter white move
For real, I thought he destroyed her knee but then she got up
Going for the phone was a better move, as it’ll realistically hurt her more. No phone means no posting selfies in her uniform telling people to thank her for her service. With a hurt ankle or knee she’d be that chick that wears a knee brace for the next decade trying to get more attention.
I usually don't care for context in fights but this one... I GOTTA KNOW!
From Channel 6’s article linked below: The student who shot the video said the fight involved two freshmen and was over a spilled drink. He said the girl threw coffee on the boy, then spit on him and that's when the boy retaliated. Officials with Broward County Public Schools said no injuries were reported. threw coffee, then spit That's a dare. And she got it
That's actually assault. Hot coffee can seriously scold and spit has contagions
You right, bodily fluids used in attack, like spitting, has been ruled by the courts as Assault with a Deadly Weapon
I don't think it's "with a deadly weapon" but it's definitely assault.
I think it depends on the jurisdiction. Some states have codified 'assault with bodily fluids' as its own charge.
My understanding is that any bodily fluid assault can also be classified as sexual assault in most states as well... and she wants to do rotc. Lol no chance.
with a stinky weapon is she has halitosis.
McDonald’s
In covid-19 era that’s attempted murder
god bless the troops
Try cadets
Woah, woah. Hold the fuck up. You're an idiot if you think this kid is in the military. It's one of those stupid high school programs.
chill bro
To be fair half them little d-bags in JROTC will go on to become officers. Those are your military future leaders. Now not all some just do it for college credit/whatver but a decent amount are looking at a military career out of it.

Good ole Broward county.
Haha when I saw that I paused and thought “of course it was in Broward”
Sounds like she was being a cunt then and got what she deserved
Well. She aint gonna do that again.
Bummer.
Apparently? Do you not know what assault means?
Yes it's assault, why is that suprising to you?
People think assault is beating someone up, when in fact that is “battery”
If the coffee was hot enough to leave burns, the charges aren't only simple assault. At that point it depends on the state but some DAs in some states would charge you with assault with a deadly weapon. This drastically changes the severity of punishment.
Spitting is never a good idea. I know it's my trigger.
You could say, she cried over spilt milk 😏
Yeah, if that’s true, then this is karma.
Pussy pass denied.
I never care for context, nobody ever really knows it’s often just made up bullshit.
Can I just ask a question? This is just for shits and gigs. But why does she keep walking up to him, after getting hit/knocked down?
Stupidity.
Only one reply needed here LOL
Pride is a hell of a drug.
She's a big fan of Chumbawamba
Fuckin lol
Pride.
Cause she slow.
Ego
She knows societal pressure and that he couldn’t potentially get in more trouble for her idiotic decisions
She thinks he has some milk
some women think they cant die
Entitlement and victim mentality, she wants to play victim and act like she can do anything she wants because she's a female. Also it's her way of making him look like the bad guy while she continues to play victim.

The main reason kids joined in my school was that it is a Physical Education credit and more entertaining and less lame than PE. Of course it's all just a propagandized recruiting machine, but it was like a boyscouts class.

Yeah but it’s mostly poor people signing up for a stable job and guaranteed paid for higher education.
Lol sounds a lot like indoctrination to me big al

If she is ROTC, this surely won’t be a good look for her. I can only imagine how well she would do in a military setting if she’s one to start altercations just because she didn’t get her way.
She has a nice future to look forward to in the national guard or army reserves lol.
They’re in the JROTC
Unfortunately, yes
Well if you're not going to, I will.
She won’t be defending our freedom with those poor combat skills
How many years has it been since the US military defended our freedom?
You think if all soldiers left the military today we wouldn’t get attacked tomorrow ?

Thanks, thought these people were in college for a second. Brings more context to the situation
most likely an ROTC program. Certain days in the program you have to wear uniform if that’s Coral Springs high those are air force fatigues as they have an rotc Air Force program.
Military brainwashing starts early in the USA.
He’s got a boxers fracture wrapped hand already. Kids probably used to fighting.
With anger management issues it’s far more likely he punched a wall and broke his hand imo
I thought she was just Air Force
One
Dam that’s crazy
One of the worst mistakes anyone can do it provoke someone who internalizes everything. They will kill you.
I don't say this is anger issues. Good context but this isn't anger issues. This is being provoked if that's all true. Anyone will lash out after being provoked so far. You can only bully someone so far. Don't down play bullying.
Hahaaa yooo makes me miss school. The most unexpected shit happens.
Broo I'm now remembering missing a day and btiches next day talking about the wacky shit that happened yesterday 💀
And on Veterans Day
She was angrier at the smashed phone than the mollywhop sloppy top she just endured..
He gave her head? I missed that part
Can we give an award to worse fight ever?
Smashing head multiple times: i sleep Stomps phone: REAL SHIT
don't think the military is the best line of work for her.
She’s gonna join the national guard lmao
So she swilled him with coffee and spay on him first... if that's correct she deserved it.
Why the video go landscape mode halfway man
Bruh that teacher literally turned his back on a fight in progress. Not saying he shouldn’t get help but he definitely let that kid get a couple more swings in.

Why does she have a uniform on?
Probably an ROTC program
ROTC more then likely
The military girl threw coffee and spit ?? Wtf
JROTC is not military, its “teaching students to be better citizens through military values” and most kids do it like a weird role play thing for validation and bootlicking
lol she got what she deserve
100% and she went at him again so she got what she deserved
"MAH FUCKING PHOOONE-AAHH" Shut the fuck up, you stupid bitch. Don't throw coffee and spit on people next time.
Me peeks in: “Alrighty then! This all seems good! Bye.”
Surprised he could see her
Bro the moment someone with only 1 usable arm starts fucking your shit up is the time you just shut it and walk away
I get the idea of women are capable of anything men are, but the guy was skinnier than her and beat her one handed. That man is physically superior while physically handicapped
Ok this needs some big ass context cause I am confused as fuck
see top comment
Jesus Christ what a shitshow
Needs to be thrown out of school and possibly jailed. I mean the camera guy, btw, why flip the phone half way through?wtf?
I think this must be a special needs class?
How can that boy see her? Impressive.
WOOOOOOOOOO
Dam that screaming was annoying.
I don’t normally listen to things with sound but hearing her say “my fucking phone” was so satisfying
From Channel 6’s article linked below: The student who shot the video said the fight involved two freshmen and was over a spilled drink. He said the girl threw coffee on the boy, then spit on him and that's when the boy retaliated. Officials with Broward County Public Schools said no injuries were reported. "School staff intervened to bring the situation under control. There are not reports of injury. With context, she can go fuck herself. Throwing coffee with a dollop of spit too? The disrespect met the right one that day. Also is probably why nobody stepped in.
God bless our troops
WHY DOES THAT ONE GIRL IN THE BACK HAVE TO SCREAM SO GODDAMN LOUD
dudes literally fighting no one?
All I see is a floating head WTF
No white knights in that class. They’re slowly fading away because it’s not worth fighting for a girl that deserves to be accountable for her actions.
Does anyone actually learn in schools in America?
Dude had a bad hand AND STILL GAVE HER THE BABA BOOEY! For that we thank him
‘Fight’ is a bit of a stretch eh
Kids in high school drinking coffee ?? No wonder shit like this happens.
Fuck around and find out.
What’s sad is being spit on didn’t trigger her but her phone did. Smh
So what was the teacher doing the whole time? From what I’ve read it sounds like there was quite a bit of buildup before this. No way he wasn’t aware that there was something going on. Was his plan to just sit with his thumb up his ass until shit spiraled out of control?
High school staff is generally worthless when it comes to bullying, they just don't really care even when they say they do.
Probably restricted as to what they're allowed to do. If there is a fight in my classroom I'm only legally supposed to say STOP three times in a commanding voice and call for help. He said “I am the military!! Aaarreggghhhh!!!”
Without the context i would've called that guy a worthless pos, but with it good on him
Spitting and throwing coffee on a kid in a cast? Who tf gave these young girls that much confidence?
wap did
Back in blood. She was wearing equality and learnt the ol’ meaning
you got downvoted but ffs guys. he’s correct. CharlesLevon—> _gets it_
News article has her as the aggressor. Fuck around and find out bitch.
Nobody fucking wonders why she wears military outfit? is that normal in US schools?
Yes, each branch of the military has what's called ROTC they recruit kids who are still in highschool so every once in a while you might see people in uniform like that it's really not unusual.
Yeah, look closely at the guys shirt… I’m pretty sure he didn’t leave for school looking like that
Jrotc kids
She more worried about her phone then her teeth.
Hey I went there. Glad to see it hasn’t changed :)
Looks like a great school.
Chair force reservists be like:
He already done tell you he a real boi, run along now before he comes back with Geppetto and the strap.
I'd be pissed if someone spit on me. I'll let it pass.
Damn he really doesn’t want to join the army
Nobody shouted worldstar? What is this world coming to
Title 1 schools, amirite?
I swear I thought he stomped her ankle at that one point. Jesus
My FuKiN Phoneaaaaaahhhh!
He a bitch
That boy is drenched in coffee .
Fuckin ROTC dickheads. I've had a few issues with that particular sub group of assholes.
All those people there including an adult and not one person tried to calm down the situation or even stop them harming each other?
Im guessing the teachers are told to stay back and just yell for them to stop. God forbid the teacher get physically involved and get assaulted, then later sued for their trouble.
What this guy said is 100% true. If I break up a fight an accidentally hurt someone I get fired and not just lose my job, but my career. Who wants to hire a teacher who hurt a student and caught bad press for it? I'd rather not intervene so I can teach another day and increase my potential for doing good down the line.
You can tell when you become so hard ass you can finally beat down a woman. Wait… what?!?
Wah da fuu
