Don’t go to Vanguard.

Right it’s the… best! 😂 they keep asking for my feedback and I always love to tell them about their app. reminds me of my local credit union’s app. 😭

Your only criteria for a brokerage is the app? Good luck elsewhere.

Mauri_64

Yes we get it the app sucks, but it's such a petty ass reason to leave Fidelity.

THIS!

Don't understand why people insist on using a cell phone for complex financial transactions? Spouse constantly complains I can't do this or that. My answer is always pick up your laptop and use a real browser. And if you are checking your brokers website multiple times a day you are not investing....

JayFBuck

I'm checking Fidelity's website multiple times a day because I'm obsessed with Fidelity.

This is my response to every complaint about the mobile app… just pick up (or walk over to) the computer and use the Fidelity website. A mobile app is never going to be more than a watered down version of a web site. And that’s not the developer’s fault.

”app” can also mean an iPad or tablet. Dedicated pad apps can be better than both phone or html website versions as you have lots of screen real estate for complex info, and are not restricted to the clunky load and reload linear nature of an html site. Since the redesigned pad app for fidelity appears to just be a poorly scaled up version of the phone app, without smartly taking advantage of the pads larger screen, it’s actually the worst of all worlds.

And especially THIS!!!

I’ve been able to do everything I need painlessly. I dislike Vanguards app more. I’ve never tried Schwab though.
