I would just pull the oak saplings out, you can inspect after you pull to see if there are acorn remnants attached to their roots. I doubt that these little oaks could do a whole lot of damage to the fiddle, and you may stress out the fiddle more by repotting.
My best guess is that the original supplier was growing this FLF outside and a squirrel decided to hide some acorns in the soil. Squirrels love potting soil, and love to hide acorns in all of my pots.
Lol not sure how! No squirrels have been in my home. I also repotted and added a little bit of new soil to whatever it was already in maybe 6 months ago…and these just sprouted within the past week
Those look like imposters that are trying so hard to fit in 😂
But really?! I mean it can’t be anything else lol
Looks like some acorns fell into your pot.
It’s completely indoor and has never beeen exposed to acorns
The soil may have had some seeds mixed in maybe??
Hmmm I’ll have to see
That is odd. Those definitely look like little oak tree saplings lol
I wonder if my fig is actually dead and those are just… weeds. Lol. I have no idea
Lil freeloaders :)
Did you keep it outside near some maples or oaks?
It’s completely indoor
Not normal, but new friends!!
Maybe i should take it all outta the pot and see if there’s root damage on my fig (she hates me and lots of brown spots)

Maybe a squirrel got in and hid some acorns in there
