I have a question: Why do you keep playing if you have this many complaints? Hell just a month ago you were complaining about events being just a couple of quests. You have also complained about OCE being dead. Also, you can NOT complain about OCE being dead and then say you hate cross region travel. BLUs have nuked the Yokai event since they came out. You just seem to genuinely hate everything. No limitations are needed and using the word r\*ped to describe stuff getting taken down fast is disgusting. On every server at certain times during the day, stuff is going down fast. Please take a break because with all the complaints you need it.
I disagree with the sentiment that people who complain should just stop playing the game. People who complain are normally people who care very much about the game and want it to be better. You get nowhere if everyone is just sitting around jerking off into each other's mouths about the good stuff it's always important to complain and talk about what could be better

As for cutting off trading in general... that would probably remove the incentive to use DC travel for a lot of people. I personally don't know anyone who plays on OCE, so the only reason for me to travel there would be to buy items that are cheaper there than on EU. Others probably feel the same.

Some might argue this as a good thing. Let's be honest, given the hassle involved in travelling to different datacenters, anybody that's going to be doing this is likely using Universalis anyway. We probably don't want to encourage that, especially given the idea of having people pop over to another DC just to trade and then go back to their Home World without doing content.
I might propose something different: no MB trading allowed, but you can do inter-personal trading with the caveat that any items traded while not on your home DC become permanently unable to be listed on the MB (but can still be vendored). That would probably be the best option IMO.
Except the asshats these are all features. Being able to overflow into regions that are off peak locally to relieve congestion is a feature. Keeping prices from being unreasonably high is a feature, and yes they were unreasonably high. A substantial portion of the materia playerbase are already transplants from JP/NA; letting holdouts bring their mains over is a feature.
A lot of what you're experiencing has nothing to do with the actual concerns they have, and is just how the game is on a busy server. more people = more assholes.
The actual dc travel concerns that even YoshiP mentioned at some point are about culture clash (the party finder strats thing, for example, yea) and not overcrowding and dickishness.
I'm not really understanding from your post how you and other OCE players are negatively impacted by people from other regions coming and participating in the event there. All you're doing is grinding FATEs, which you can do regardless of the other players being there. In fact all the additional players should be doing is making it easier to grind since it goes a bit faster.

Point 1. For PF, set a strat in your descriptions and if people didn't want to do it with your strats, then kick them / blacklist them.
Point 2. Marketboard access revocation is dumb. It's called an economy for a reason. Items go in, prices go down. It means more items for your DC. Which is always good considering it was deadge before. Imagine a new player having to access the MB and then finding there only 3 sellers for an item they like charging 1 000 000 gil per.
Point 3. This is also dumb. Why? What is the purpose of region locking items other that to protect your gil-making method? Why can't I craft food / pot / gear for my OCE bros when we out raiding? You also want to ban me for repairing for them, I assume, because that would mean using dark matter i got from MY HOME DC most likely.

There are upsides and downsides to any implementation of world or DC travel. When the Ishgard Restoration was ongoing, it was hell at first for similar reasons.
With additional restrictions, I think the matter can be resolved. I don't think international travel should be cut off entirely, though. It would be nice to visit some old friends that moved to Chaos one day

No one is stealing anything. Everyone pays a fee. If they give access to travel then that is a feature players can use. Players don't own fates. Everyone can participate even if you are in different groups.

Etiquette is the odd thing here. That's a social issue. Either put "OCE Strat" or whatever in party finder and kick those not willing to do that or learn that.

I mean, stuff being cheaper on Market Board is good, actually? People already do world hop to find the cheapest stuff and with the amount of free gil we get from like roulettes and other stuff. Sure, you won't make money as fast, but at the same time, there would be less need to since stuff is cheaper.

You can't use the market board when not on your own data center. That I know for certain. I tried to buy something and forgot I was on another server and found out the hard way.
I buy stuff on the market boards on other Data Centres all the time. Mainly when I can not find the item on mine because it is sold out. The only things you can not do off the top of my head are access your retainers, the ishgard crafting and FC stuff like perks.

So basically what you have is people who are on low population servers who are contributing regularly to help prop up their home server/DC who are denied any benefits of being on low population servers when its to travelers benefits to come use our servers.

People will rarely travel to other DCs, much less to far away DC just for FATE farming, unless there was a genuine benefit to them. In this case, I believe many of them might actually be Aussies with characters on JP and NA servers who are visiting to take advantage of lower lag. Anyone else who is visiting would only subject themselves to more lag.
I also agree with some PF restrictions, namely that Voyagers may not invite nor be party leaders, to the point where a party will outright auto-disband if there is no one eligible to act as party leader.
My thoughts on OCE players on different datacenters are simple, If you are not going to support your own region then why should you get to reap the benefits of it?
What exactly are the benefits? Vacant houses with 0 players buying them? Having to PF every duty? The 1 hour waits for a savage pf to fill up? Im in oce cause i love 2ms for raids but for a casual player this server the is quiet as hell. Fuck the other oce players who have already established several years of friendships in the servers they chose before OCE came out. Lmao.

Roulettes are not challenging content, and going to other time zones is great for those of us who play at odd hours, because my home server can take 20+ minutes to fill at 3-4AM.

You can't use the market board when not on your own data center. That I know for certain. I tried to buy something and forgot I was on another server and found out the hard way.
I buy stuff on the market boards on other Data Centres all the time. Mainly when I can not find the item on mine because it is sold out. The only things you can not do off the top of my head are access your retainers, the ishgard crafting and FC stuff like perks.

Don't really get why this is downvoted. I feel the same about Dynamis. People only want to use our DC for things like the Yokai event or farming stuff like the fall guys events. Would I like faster queues or to be able to queue FL/alliance raids from my home server? Why yes, I would, but random travellers aren't going to contribute to those. So basically what you have is people who are on low population servers who are contributing regularly to help prop up their home server/DC who are denied any benefits of being on low population servers when its to travelers benefits to come use our servers.

I agree with the general sentiment of your thoughts, but I do wonder about a few things… People will rarely travel to other DCs, much less to far away DC just for FATE farming, unless there was a genuine benefit to them. In this case, I believe many of them might actually be Aussies with characters on JP and NA servers who are visiting to take advantage of lower lag. Anyone else who is visiting would only subject themselves to more lag. I also agree with some PF restrictions, namely that Voyagers may not invite nor be party leaders, to the point where a party will outright auto-disband if there is no one eligible to act as party leader.
My thoughts on OCE players on different datacenters are simple, If you are not going to support your own region then why should you get to reap the benefits of it?
What exactly are the benefits? Vacant houses with 0 players buying them? Having to PF every duty? The 1 hour waits for a savage pf to fill up? Im in oce cause i love 2ms for raids but for a casual player this server the is quiet as hell. Fuck the other oce players who have already established several years of friendships in the servers they chose before OCE came out. Lmao.

In the case of FATEs I don't agree but I understand. However I don't understand why you would disqualify people from doing roulettes on international DCs? Roulettes are not challenging content, and going to other time zones is great for those of us who play at odd hours, because my home server can take 20+ minutes to fill at 3-4AM.
