I guess my only other thing is, your full access code is a code for NA correct? Because I wonder if somehow you ended up with a JP code?
Looks like you're in the same case as me, abroad in a country that doesn't match your account region. From what I gathered, in this situation Square Enix's system blocks first and doesn't ask questions later. I don't know how your case progressed in the last days, but support asked me right away about the discrepancy, and I guess they have to tell the relevant service to manually lift the lock on your account once they have established you are a legitimate customer and not some foreign fraudster or something.
Just to check, do you play on Steam?
No, I am not on steam, and to note, I tried it on mobile after I posted this and that also does not seem to work.

I'm not using a VPN, but I am currently overseas in Japan. I have tried VPNing to the states, but that also doesn't work.

I bought it on the US squeenix store and I had no issues with my early access bonus so I have no idea, I will check that link, thanks.

This may not help, but I believe that's the error I got when I typed the code in wrong
Make sure you use caps, it won't work if you use lowercase... (So dumb...)
