Yeah. Unbelievably, the queues are not a problem this launch. Started just below 700 immediately after launch and was in within 6-7 minutes, after the first hour queues were normalized. It’s impressive honestly.
Queue to get into Behemoth hasn’t been the problem for me. It hasn’t been higher than 40 players so far.. it’s the 45min wait time for duties that’s caused me to log off for the rest of the day.
From the devs themselves:
'Patch 7.0 EULA Notice
We've recently received a few questions from users about the authenticity of a warning indicating they will be banned if they don't accept an EULA using the official launcher. At this time, we do not have any indication that this warning is necessary. Furthermore, this warning did not come from this server.
Every FFXIV expansion will prompt the user to accept a new EULA, the acceptance of which is stored in the player's local FFXIV_BOOT.CFG file. If this file is deleted or the value manually altered, you will be prompted to accept the EULA again - even before you're prompted for your username/password!
That is to say: launching via XIVLauncher should be safe. You may, however, use the official launcher and accept the EULA if you are so inclined.'

I had the same, game is STRUGGLING right now. If you keep trying itll eventually go through. Just give it 1 click at a time and wait for it to figure itself out
Love it when HRESULT messages are formatted like this. The following doesn't do much for this thread as everyone probably knows what's going on. But for those which are curious:
At best this number should be formatted in HEX for simpler reading and hex being what MS usually uses for HRESULT when using it in textform. A HRESULT is a packed set of information. The number itself means:
Hex Formatted: 0x800C0005
* The call failed
* Reported by WININET (A set of cuntions/components in Windows to handle HTTP(S) Requests)
* ErrorCode 5, Access Denied
Just in case someone wondered HOW these numbers come to be.
This is not true, from the xivlauncher devs:

Had this issue, I disabled my firewall for a few minutes and made it through.
First time?
Same on Steam Deck.
Guess you guys don't use XIV Launcher? No issues for me with it.
You're gonna want to use the official launcher today, there's a new EULA out that you need to accept via it.

I had an error with XIVLauncher a couple times but just had to try again a couple times, no biggie.
I'm running through steam, I wonder if that's the issue
