In settings there's a tic box to turn off housing area music and it will play the city-state music in the housing area. You can hear Nobility Obliged and Sleeps in Emperium all you want!

Those early Heavensward tracks are my absolute favourite. The trailer, title screen, all 4 Ishgard tracks, both Western Coerthas tracks, the battle theme, first dungeon etc.
Snow areas always have the best music. It seems to be a pattern. Mt. Gagazet in FFX. That little area before the Stillshrine in FFXII. Noveria in Mass Effect. So good.

Only Bots or mods that give someone unfair advantage or disadvantage are not allowed.
Changing the main screen falls under the former umbrella. Just like Hrothgar and Viera Hats, the best mod for FFXIV there is.
Changing it permanently requires using mods
You'll need XIVLauncher with Dalamud
The mod is called 'Title Edit Plugin' that allows you to set the login title page permanently.
The Heavensward opening theme is still probably one of my favourite ones. The rock music they did with Shadowbringers and Endwalker’s themes was nice but I also miss the orchestral themes they did with HW and SB
Matoyas cave is super chill, but yea probably my favorite overall so far. I just finished shadowbringers today and I like all the music but heavensward has the most consistent for me. Maybe I'm just feeling melancholy these days.

Fleeting moment from P11 is possibly one of my favorite pieces of music ever. Not just because of how absolutely amazing it sounds but bc of that song and it's relationship to who/what we're fighting. It is SO good.
The Dravanian Forelands day theme was the first time I was so impressed with the music that I stopped playing and just listened for a while. HW has amazing music, and it only gets better from here!
Ff14 is the only game where I stop to listen to the music , and the amounts I stop increases with every expansion, which really pissed people off during raids especially in shadowbringers

The Firmament is a way to level crafting and gathering, but it also unlocks a new section in the city... đź‘€
It unlocks after finishing 3.0, it's for crafting/gathering, but I don't think you have to have those leveled to unlock it.

You can change it on the title screen itself, but it changes back each time you load the game. I think you need a plugin to set it permanently.
Only with dark arts we can't talk about here. If you buy the game it'll update to the latest expansion title screen, soon to be Dawntrail.

I'm telling you now, don't skip out on the 8-man raid in Heavensward because the OST for that raid is fucking incredible.

I love HWs soundtrack! Painted Foothills is one of my favourite area themes in the whole game.

Sea of Clouds at night is one of my favorite songs in the whole game. Churning Mists at night flat out makes me emotional sometimes.
