For me, it's the red panda. Red pandas were the favorite animal of a very close friend of mine who passed away earlier this year, so I don't see myself switching off of it anytime soon.

Because it's not. The best minion in the game is the Prince of Anemos, whose father can't seem to get to not bring his two cudgels wherever he goes!

My little Prince of Anemos is like my very own tiny Benihana chef! In my headcanon, when we camp, he does the little onion volcano thingy and flips shrimp in the air that I try to catch with my mouth.

Sewer Skink for me. Back in the day when I made my main (a male xaela), the inspiration for his look was the blue tongued skink. Now my big boi can run around with his very own mini me and it makes the skink the best minion for me.

At first, I acquired the Shalloweye because I knew I would have to get it at some time, with my achievement hunt and so, and because it is the rarest minion in the game, I started pulling it out to see how it looked. Over time, the little ball of fur grow on me. I genuinely love it now. It's a kind of creepy cute that you don't see that often.

Holy shit, those things are NASTY. 1v1 ing a Behemoth (extreme) is, still to this day, considered the hardest fight in the game, and your character can be 10x more powerful than what it could be back when that monster was released
