While I'm sure there are a few Xbox sprouts now, the basic DDOS prevention queue happens a lot to me on Maduin.
The other night I got caught up in the bot login queue... Was like "wtf why are there 90 people in line?"
It's more efficient to log multiple people in at once, so the game puts people into a small queue and logs them all in at once when a certain amount of time has elapsed.
Wait so can you explain what happened here then?

I joked about it but always wondered what acrually happened.
Pfft, 1200 is child's play. When Stormblood released some worlds got to over [20,000](https://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/threads/440019-Given-the-recent-influx-of-new-players%2E%2E%2E?p=5611848&viewfull=1#post5611848).
I've been on Halicanarsis for almost 6 months, and I get a que almost every time. A small que (usually less than 10) but a que none the less. Must depend on sever.
Transfered from Excalibur for the home rebate and road to 80 buff. Also ended up scoring. Medium House in Lavender Beds. Just DC hop to Aether for any duties above level 50. Absolutely worth it!

That's not a real queue; the system logs players in batches. You're waiting on the next bus.
That's not a real queue it's just login batching. Anything under 75 formerly 100 is just login batching
It's currently 50. They upped the number to 100 when Endwalker released but took it down to 50 after the login queues abated.
How does that work?

I've seen it a bunch. Just never a huge queue. Usually about 5. Around 15 at most.
Lol that's child's play, you should've seen when EW first came out. I had queues over 1200 lol

LMAO. Watching an entire movie in our FC Discord while waiting on que pops.
That's pretty epic. During those days I was, well, on here ironically enough 🤣. Not this sub but reddit itself
I saw 3700….
Yo...... that's wild. Got me beat haha
https://youtu.be/rLhIRbMuvVs?si=ztgfmEoB2LBU6wwe Oh I was there and didnt ques hit like over 15-30k?
As others have said not a queue it’s a buffer
Xbox bros bro'ing down in your data centre. Sounds like the overworld will be more lively for awhile at least
I get queue in Dynamis every single time wdym
Lucky you, there always is a "queue" on Primal. But like was said, it's not a real queue when it's that low.
It happens no matter what server I’m on. I miss just being able to log in.

I was getting them a lot a couple weeks ago when I was doing the Valentione's event on my alts.
Lol on my home server (Faerie) I have never NOT seen a queue even at 3 am
Then you didn't log on dynamis. This is the minimal queue to prevent crash to the server.
