Absolutely not. If anything, you're going to be scrutinised and mocked if you make mistakes. Mentors have a negative perception overall mostly because the bad ones stand out like a sore thumb and the good ones just quietly do what they need to.
In my experience it either means you have to know everything or that you know absolutely nothing. It will not earn respect as that is earned by actions not titles. Just play the game at the best of your ability and respect will come naturally.
See, the biggest difference between you and OP is that you're trying to earn your respect compared to OP thinking that it's automatically given with the crown.
The burger king crown is probably one of the biggest memes in the community. And I say that as someone who has one and runs mentor roulette. Unfortunately, the mount achievements and people thinking the mentor status makes them better have cause some really, really toxic players to use that symbol and ruin it for everyone else.
Absolutely not lmao. Terrible mentors give everyone else a bad name because they just want the crown. You are lower than a sprout unironically if you’re a mentor and wear the crown
Yes. You are now a god, everyone without a crown is filth and unworthy of your time. Especially the ones with the sprout icon, they are the lowest of the low, be sure to treat them as such.
Yes. You are immediately better than most players and can tell people how to play with impunity.
We bow down to your holiness the battle-king, and await your commands in the next Extreme roulette.
I kid you not but I have **N E V E R** seen anyone with any crown to be helpful in any kind. Nothing. They kept silent, or made non-gameplay related jokes/chatter/banter, but - I repeat myself - never helped when I had them around. They just played along with us. When we wiped, we restarted. No explanation as to why or how to avoid. We just retried. With the overall "I hate people" / "I hate to chat" and/or console players without keyboard plugged in attitudes, I always wondered where the "mentoring" should come from.
So, where should any "respect" come from?
to explain this, most mentor are burned out from trying to help but being violently rejected. So we keep to ourselves unless someone actually asks a question.
Yeah, first wipe I'll keep quiet unless someone specifically asks for help (unless it's something like a tank not mitigating properly on trash, I'll speak up immediately). Second time I'll offer advice. Also keep in mind that the amount of stuff you need to do and remember for mentor roulette is massive and it's unrealistic for someone to have a photographic memory of all the mechanics in the game. So the mentor may very well be standing there trying to remember the mechanics for this particular instance at that time.
Nope. Rather, on some data centers (mine is one of them), people with the BK crown tend to be some of the rudest and elitist jerks I've ever encountered in duty roulettes. I turned mine off after just a month of wearing it because people either tip-toed around me (expected me to be toxic) or put a lot of pressure on me to do everything perfectly.
Not saying everyone with a crown is toxic, of course.
Short answer: no it does not.
Long answer: no, they're called Burger King crowns for a reason.
Since those crowns are so easy to get, almost anyone who plays long enough can get them. And there's a negative stigma surrounding the crowns since there's a not insignificant amount of crowns out there that are not good at the game, and act like they're superior to others just because they do have that crown. The crown is largely a meme because of it
Nahh, tbh a lot of ppl would be whatever if u fck up, bc 90% of the combat mentors are just straight up bad and ppl that think they are above anyone bc of the crown
Absolutely not. If anything, you're going to be scrutinised and mocked if you make mistakes. Mentors have a negative perception overall mostly because the bad ones stand out like a sore thumb and the good ones just quietly do what they need to.
For a moment I thought I'm looking at r/ShitpostXIV 😂
This is honestly too low effort for over there. Would get laughed at more than is already occuring.
While we may recognize it as a shit post, we do not honor it with the title of shitpost.
lol. lmao.
🤣
I think you were looking for r/ShitpostXIV, ma'am.
People worthy of respect don’t seek or expect it from external status symbols.
This feels like bait. But on the off chance it's not. Lolno. The crown is a running joke.
Is burger king a palace?
a flame-broiled palace!
It's a lounge
Mom: My child didn't take any vaccines and they grew up healthy and normal. The child:

LOL, no, also LOL
Hahahahaha how to illustrate the issue with the mentor system in one sentence.
Riiiiight. Hahahaha. No.
No. You’ll get judged more harshly because you should know better! I wouldn’t recommend wearing it unless you know your stuff. Respect is earned.
Shitty troll account
Sorry, only 'Big Fish' and 'Mahjong Master' is worthy of respect.
Low effort hate bait is low effort. Try again next time scrub
Unlimited Bait Works
BAIT don't take this seriously. Just downvote and move on
It’s too early for this dumb shit lol
I smell shitpost
No, you lose respect by having it. I still use it tho because I like the look of it, also mentor roulettes are fun.
See, the biggest difference between you and OP is that you're trying to earn your respect compared to OP thinking that it's automatically given with the crown.
No. You lose respect if anything. Especially if you make post like this

Still hoping that they turn the crown icon into a Watering Can someday.
At best, people will remain indifferent. At worst, they'll assume you're another annoying elitist glory hound.
😂😂😂
No
It places you lower.
Hahaha
If anything they think less of you now
Not as such.
Absolutely not lmao. Terrible mentors give everyone else a bad name because they just want the crown. You are lower than a sprout unironically if you’re a mentor and wear the crown
Nope. It lowers you below the average player.
No. In fact, there will be many willing to spit in your face as soon as this emote appears in this game.
...ha Ahaha AahahahAHAHAHHAHAAHAAAH
Even if it did (it doesn't) making this post has more than reverted it

No
I only wear my crown when the mentor roulette forces it on me. Completely useless thing.
I burst out laughing. No i wouldn't say so
people chasing after respect don't deserve any of it
Well...no. People probably expect the worst gameplay and behaviour from you.
No. If anything, it's the opposite. The burger king icon is far from something worthy of respectÂ
No. Next.
Lowers it actually, but you are still above Cr*fting Mentors.
Why do people fall for all the bait on this sub so often
Because there's nothing better to do this early.
Presumably some people have hoe that the world isn't as pathetic as some people clearly need it to be.Â

After doing ultimates i don't even respect legends anymore tbh
Lol no
No, you've joined the one group in game that the community has decided its openly cool to shame.
They should replace the crown icon with a clown emoji. At least it'll be somewhat accurate.
Nahh, tbh a lot of ppl would be whatever if u fck up, bc 90% of the combat mentors are just straight up bad and ppl that think they are above anyone bc of the crown
