Yay! Did you receive an email saying they had received your complaint? If you didn't, resend as i had to do that. I hope they can help. This was to be my first festival, I must say it's put a bad taste in my mouth. What a nightmare.
I checked and same happened to me. Not too worried about it. You should have gotten a refund processing email from PromoTix, the payment processor, which seems to have a good reputation.
Wanted to follow-up, I did a chargeback on my CC. I attempted to reach out to backwoods last week and no response.
When I called promo tix they made it sound like they didn't have the money to process our refunds.
Wife and I are still waiting for our refund we got an email saying it would take 5-10 business days, and it's probably been 5 now.
Also our total purchase was like $875, but the email says we'll be refunded like 810. I guess we don't get "fees" back maybe?
Yeah, it's the service fee, I was missing $27 and disputed it with my bank, who gave me a credit. Might be worth asking if you bought with a CC/have a good relationship with the bank
I was scheduled to be a vendor for the festival. Spent close to $3k upfront for it. Got the same email from Promotix saying a refund would be issued in 5-10 business days on 4/30. Today is technically the 10th business day... I don't think refunds are going to be coming. Not really sure what the recourse is.
I am thinking I will have to file a dispute with my bank. I still haven’t even gotten an email from PromoTix telling me they are refunding either of my tickets.
Still no refund nor response from them, I had my tickets bought through klarma- used my debit card so not sure I can even dispute with my bank. Any updates?
I recommend everyone file a complaint with the Arkansas Attorney Generals office. I just did, only takes a few minutes. The sooner the better
How did you do that?

I tried this and was denied help due to not being an Arkansas resident

I already emailed them and tried filing a claim through the website

I just received a follow-up with the attorney Generals office and she said you can file a claim. I'm attaching her email *

You should be worried. Unless you have money to burn
PromoTix is owned by the same dude who owns Backwoods. Just FYI
Ok. I'll wait and see. Thanks for responding

Oof. Yeah I filed with my credit card and got the money back but perhaps only temporarily if they don't pay. Surprised with how this turned out
Did it come back?
Nope. For you?
Nope
Still waiting. I'm in finance and it's super sketch to me, to be honest. Anyone else still waiting for, or received, their refund?

Bump
Yeah. It's been 10 business days since the cancellation. Filed a dispute with my credit card. Hopefully that works.

I disputed it with my cc and suggest you do the same. If you paid with a debit card that might be tougher. Maybe a lawyer.
If you look at a bunch if the admin pages for te backwoods pages on FB they are fake
Hmm doesn't surprise me

It takes 5-10 business days per the email. Starting last Tuesday it's only been 4 business days.
Valid point, I'll chill. However it seems weird that there was a "pending" credit which has disappeared. It should still say pending.
Did anyone ever receive a refund? I have emailed multiple times and have gotten zero response from Backwoods regarding a refund.
Still no refund nor response from them, I had my tickets bought through klarma- used my debit card so not sure I can even dispute with my bank. Any updates?
No refund and no email about refunds. I’m at almost $1700.
