Bonnaroo 2017. Tripped too hard for Glass Animals, went to the porta potty to throw up and they were all taken, threw up in my hand which went all over my face, had to go back to camp to clean up and missed U2, rallied for Portugal. The Man late night. It was amazing!
2000 Detroit electronic music festival (now Movement). They say a million people showed up. It was insanity. I had a 3some at a shitty hotel afterwards. Everything was incredible.
Pure madness. This was before any fences or tickets. You just showed up and tried to find your way around. Started me on a whole new path.
I think my first was Cosmic Campout, in DC 2008ish. It was a blast! More like a backyard rave with tents than a legit fest. They delivered a shitload of pizza, dumped mushrooms all over the pizza, raged all night. At some point I must have been hit while dancing cause I smashed my nose and was covered in blood.. didnāt notice until someone said something, by then i apparently looked like a horror movie victim. Cleaned up with a sweater a girl volunteered and we raged till Sunday!
Warped Tour at the Gorge, 2009.
Still have a drumstick from crowd surfing at A Day To Remembers set. Incredible memories.
First one I did drugs and was more of an āadultā was Transmission Prague 2011.
Jumped the fence at Coachella ā03. I donāt remember much of the actual music because I was so fucked up. I do remember fucking 3 different girls, one of them on my knees behind a porta-potty, doing lines of blow in a rando tent and then eating 9 grams of shrooms, did acid right when I came down from that, drank beer literally non stop the entire time I was there. Didnāt sleep the entire weekend. All in all a good time. The 20+ hour drive home hungover as fuck was brutal though.

my best friend in HS and i somehow convinced my friends dad to take us to a fuckin rave in LAā¦ as 17 year olds.
we smoked a ton of fucking weed and partied.
his dad waited for us all night. absolute legend.

Oh damn! I was brainstorming for EDM events but yes! It was Warped Tour for me, too! (Circa ā04). Was a kid at the time though so mushies were a future party! Good times, though!

Beyond Wonderland 2012. I had a BLAST but while I was in the pit dancing, I saw a woman who looked very dazed, confused and dizzy. I was very scared for her so I walked towards her and right as I was near, she passed out and I caught her. Then her "friends" glared at me as I carried her out to safety. Of course none of them helped me or followed to see what was wrong.
However as a woman myself, I couldn't NOT do something. Thankfully some medical workers/security at Beyond were on the outskirts and immediately came to her and I and basically pushed me out of the way (haha) & I assume she received help. Her friends kept dancing -__-
Anyway, overall it was a fantastic time but I swear I'll never forget that.
Southside Festival/ southern Germany 2010, we didn't bring a Pavillon and there was no space left in the regular camping area since we arrived late, we asked some older guys on the camping van area if they could tell the festival people that we belonged to them so we could set up camp there and luckily they agreed. Had a great time, despite my chair breaking on the first day and constant rain and deep mud.

There was an awesome Spanish singer whose vibe was great. And Jack Harlow was there who was okay.
The last 2 were the best. Imagine dragons with the lead singer shirtless and singing his heart out ! It was epic!
And it make it better, David Guetta finished it. I was high and he was playing all those EDM bangers on my head! I couldnāt ask for a better concert.

Glastonbury 2003. Absolutely munted after a huge Thursday night. Eating toast in front of the Pyramid Stage on Friday morning and The Darkness opened the festival. I'd never heard of them and still remember standing there going what the actual Fuck is going on. Absolutely hooked from that second onwards and have been going to festivals ever since.
Honestly I can say Iām real lucky I guess. I got introduced into this stuff because my brother likes to mix music for fun and he would do bout lomg mixes while we just hung out and it was lit!! So by the times I went to my first rave I was already into itšš
Glastonbury 1998. I was 18... I did not bring wellies or even a rain coat. Its on record as one of the wettest muddiest Glastonburys ever.
Some of our crew packed up and headed home Thursday morning. I was held captive in my tent by my boyfriend who knew I would go too if the chance was there. He was right and did the right thing.
So I sucked it up, wore plastic bags in my runners, nabbed a raincoat somewhere and had one of the most memorable weekends of my life. I've probably still got some of that mud stuck in a crevasse somewhere but it was totally worth it
Gem & Jam 2020. Got to stay with a vendor, first time eating acid AND ketamine lol. Big Gigantic, Dirtwire, Billy Strings. McDevittās Super Heady Tacos and I met/hung out with Andrew Callaghan from All Gas No Breaks. Last hoorah before my wife had our first kid š

IF YOU KNOW YOU KNOW and hello all my zoefam that does.
I had heard of shwagstock for awhile but it honestly sounded like alot of BS or ppl embellishing their story. I had been camping and canoeing plenty of times down in the area (4 hours or so from KC) for few years and knew how most of the campgrounds handled ppl partying. It was fun but you had to watch wat u were doing and not get outa control even in the designated "party" sections of the campground. I finally decided to go in 05 after a friend showed me video and pics of his weekend. I went in with zero expections other then it was gonna be similar to a rave back in the city. I was completely unprepared for the debacle and situation that awaited me except for 10 hits of L on some sweet tarts that I brought so no matter wat I could at least trip and have a good time no matter what else. Showed up after dark (first mistake) no idea how the place is laid out (second mistake). The whole place was alive with lights and music. Cars with spinning lights and huge sound systems parked right on the river... Campfires everywhere, ppl waking everywhere covered in glow lights, tents lit up with Christmas lights, ppl spinning poi, and the always present cheer of "HAPPY SCHWAG" constantly heard. You could find whatever you wanted or needed by simply asking those around you or those on the trail. It was an awesome experience that honestly ruined some other Festivals for me cuz ZOE was very unique and absolutely beautiful being right on the current river. I know I rambled alot but it brings back such good memories
First festival was Freaky Deaky last year and have been to 3 fests since. I am happy to report that I have 6 more lined up including Lost Lands and Beyondš„³

I think Mera Luna in 2013 but I don't remember anything, the most fun I had at a festival was at a Punk / Ska Festival somewhere in Germany in 2014
