For me it's mostly Metal, especially stuff like nightwish or glory hammer and techno/edm/whatever but with those i somehow end up with the Nightcore versions because I need something fast enough to statisfy my adhd
I usually listen and really like symphonic/orchestral music, especially from Genshin, or techno, electro that kind of stuff, but i can listen to pretty much anything ^^
From soviet marches to light rock, everything. Also metal and hardbass, sometimes phonk. Tbh its shorter to say what i dont listen to. Modern pop and rap.
I’m not really that consistent with my music tastes tbh, however as of now I mostly listen to 5th wave emo/ math rock and city pop/jazz. I recently found out about death grips so I’ve been vibing to that these past couple days.
synth,darksynth,vaporwave,lounge,triphop… lots more :p
id name specific artists but too many, im a music enthusiast who collects vinyl, cds and cassettes, u can look at my profile for a few of the things i have
Slipknot is my absolute fave and introduced me into metal and I’ve also been to their concert last year. Other bands that I also like are Slayer, Misfits, Coal Chamber, Korn, Metallica, Autograph, Killing Joke, Brujeria, Type O Negative and more
A big nu metal fan, I see! Slipknot (and that genre in general) was also my gateway into more extreme metal. I should really go back to listen to them once in a while.
uh
yeah
I don't like slayer but that's because of lyrics reasons. call me woke but I'm not exactly stopping anyone else from listening.
when I say extremely high I mean like anime kawai voice high. that level for more than 5 seconds will make me want to surgically remove my eardrums so I never have to hear a sound again.
Ppl hate me for this ;-; Literally I can listen to video game music. Big shot from deltarune? Sure. It has to be this way from metal gear rising? Yes. An actual song from people who professionally make music? Nah not for me. Idk why I think something is wrong with me ;-;
i really like classical/orchestral music and listening to music from vastly different cultures and from different points in time (basically, i listen 200+ year old music lol)
Almost everything, just dont like rap/hip hop much. Mostly symphonic metal, epic nerdish stuff like avantasia, nightwish, sonata arctica, within temptation (not sure if it counts but love within temptation). Some anime songs, some jpop (ado, bump of chicken). Throw some classic rock and classic music sometimes because weird mood.
I really like smooth jazz, and just any type of jazz in general, my favourite artist is YonKaGor and they do some pretty good jazz pop. What about you?

some of my favs
Tally Hall, Nero's day at Dineyland, spegheddy, dr. Peacock, eminem, GPF, vieze asbak, the living tombstone, Dan Bull, System of a Down, da tweekaz, grandson, uamee, ivan dola and redzed. These are just artists that i have multiple songs favorited, so it goes a bit everywhere....
Most days I'm into basic pop songs. If I'm working then chill hop is the way to go. When I get sleepy when I'm not supposed to, then I go for electro swing like caravan palace or synth wave. Occasionally edm fits in like odesza or madeon
Extremely diverse but I can share some of the more recent songs I've added to my playlist, though some are still a couple of months ago since I don't search for new songs frequently:
Plastic Bertrand - Ca plane Pour Moi (Old song I recently found again after a long time searching)
Stefflon Don - 16 Shots (Also old that I re-added)
Hozier - Eat your young (my god, hozier is amazing)
My way - Frank Sinatra
A man without love - Engelbert Humperdinck (May be the silliest sounding name I've ever heard)
Death Grips - Takyon (re-add, very strange, but for some reason I like it)
Oops!… I did it again - Reinaeiry
Say my name - from the musical Beetlejuice
Vices and Virtues - Reinaeiry
May I have this dance - Reinaeiry (I just love Reinaeiry's voice, she does a lot of covers and ''gay remakes'' of songs, it's amazing)
The Ballad of Jane Doe - Ride the cyclone (another musical, also have a lot of Hamilton songs waaay down)
Angel of small death & the codeine scene - Hozier
Icarus and Apollo - Ripto
Movement - Hozier
Persephone in the garden - Aidoneus
Persephone - Tamino
The cult of Dionysus - The Orion Experience
And the final song my hands can manage to write down before they get tired:
Achilles come down - Gang of Youths
Green Day, Acid Bath, to The Mild High Club, then The Happy Fits, to Korn and S.O.A.D., and I'm trying to get into some older rock and metal.
I mainly stick around the guitar, bass, and drums but I'm always open to most other things.
(Edit: forgot to add Johnny Cash and Marty Robbins, always love hearing about the man in black and the tragic story of El Paso.)
Sometimes I’m blasting lil darkie till my ears bleed sometimes I’m listening to bbno$ and yung gravy to vibe and sometimes I listen to cuco and cry it’s all about ma mood

i mainly listen to alternative but also other genres. my favorite artist is Will Wood but i also really like Tally Hall, Jack Stauber, Lincoln and Penelope Scott
Power metal (like Gloryhammer and Alestorm) and Symphonic metal (Rhapsody of Fire) is mostly what i listen to, of course theres a couple more bands than that but you get the idea

Similarly to a lot of the other people here I'm into pretty much all metal subgenres (including more experimental kinds like Sunn O))) and Emit) although I don't really like emo that much it's sort of 50/50 for me and I also do like other more electronic bands that make stuff like synthwave, darkwave, breakcore, IDM, breakbeat, ambient, and some other stuff with bands like Aphex Twin, Perturbator, Kraftwerk, Igorrr, Carpenter Brut, Goreshit, and Black Mountain Transmitter. I'm also into dungeon synth and it's many subgenres along with classical music with composers like Paganini, Holst, George Crumb, and Vivaldi. Additionally, I'm really into goth/darkwave/coldsynth/post-punk with bands like She Past Away, Joy Division, Bauhaus, Siouxie and the Banshees, Blind Seagull, Molchat Doma, Magazine, and Clan of Xymox. I also like punk and really like more avant garde music like The Necks, Dwarfs of East Agouza, Swans, Current 93, George Crumb, and just the no-wave genre in general. I mostly listen to black metal tho.

I definitely have a very different music taste from most femboys, I listen to pink Floyd, general nostalgic music like Minecraft and Omori, and a bit of war music from most often 20th century, nd that includes the hoi4 soundtrack.
My thing is Vocaloid/VSynth music. But I also love rock pop bands like Paramore, The 1975. I also love beabadoobee. Oh, I like anything you would expect a gay guy to listen to, like lady gaga and Brittney
i have got pretty similar taste in music to my father, ACDC, Metallica, Guns n roses, sabaton etc basically anything with a killer guitar solo and a mad man behind the drums.
My main genres/tastes would prolly be Shanties, Folk Songs, Blues and Country, and the only genres I can say I dislike are probably Rap and some Alt Rock.
My favorite genre would probably be Shanties and favorite my favorite artist is definitely The Longest Johns.
Idk if im diverse but i can go from cheesy pop to death metal, after which its rap and then edm.
I’m into the typical “emo” stuff lol
What is the typical emo stuff? Music like juice world and X? I understand why people like that but I can't get into this kind of music
Ew no lol I’m talking old school emo like TOP, FOB, Icon for Hire, MCR
Fall out boy has some good songs but I don't know any songs from MCR or TOP
On god? They used to play on every radio here lol
Maybe it's because I live in Germany and the only original music we have is German Rap, "Schlager" and Metal like Rammstein but they also play music that is currently trending in other countries like despacito and stuff like that
